It has subsequently ended up in the bin.. it didn't seem to beat just having the window down (even if you combined it with this)so was only good when it cooled down a bit... which kinda defeats the object really!

Not great in a heatwave
I got this for my partner as his air con was broken in his car and it was during the heatwave. he did use it during this period, but in the heat it just seemed to move hot air around the car and was quite bulky.It has subsequently ended up in the bin.. it didn't seem to beat just having the window down (even if you combined it with this)so was only good when it cooled down a bit... which kinda defeats the object really!

1) the instructions are in pidgeon english at best.
2) Its heavy - 33kg, you won't be moving it up & down stairs, but it's easily wheeled round the house
3) the venting hose is too short & too stiff
4) a bit of a lower temperature would have been good
These are minor - overall this has been a fabulous buy and I'm very pleased with it.

Excellent!
This was a very good buy - it heats, cools & blows. There's an evaporative function, but why use that when it could air condition.All this & a remote! I'd give it 4.5 out of 5 if I could - Minor niggles:1) the instructions are in pidgeon english at best.

I agree it smells
I had mine for a couple of months and have the same problem as the other review somtimes it works, somtimes it won't and will just smell, sometimes it turns on after leaving for a few minutes not a safe way to do it though. Currently waiting for Micromark to fix - they're a hard company to get hold of though.9

I got this to try an experiment, it worked, on those very hot days camping it will run off a power pack for about 4 hours on full keeping the car nice and cool for the dogs, have now ordered another couple for the living room and kitchen, nice neat and compact and cooling
