Believe all the bad reviews and don't buy it! It's rubbish.

I've tried it on a number of stereos around the house, and a number of car stereos. The best sound you can expect to get resembles hearing the music under water. It also make annoying ticking noises and confuses the hell out of some auto reverse tape players.

I did read up about this product on AV forums and found that there were some faulty Revos that gave poor reception or only local stations so make sure that you don't confuse poor performance with a unit that is actually faulty!

I have an Audi A4 which has the standard factory fitted cd/radio. I listen to DAB radio at home, my favourites being 1Xtra, Kiss, Kerrang and Planet Rock. Now I can listen to these while I'm driving.

First all, the Revo just looks amazing, the finish and design is quality. It came with everything I needed in the box and DIY install was very straightforward, even for a novice like me to do in 30 minutes. I was a bit dubious about the performance of the internal windscreen antenna but to my surprise it gave a perfect signal at 88-99% consistently whilst I travelled from Bedford to Manchester via M1 and M6.

I would definitely recommend that you get the remote which I think is really useful as it controls all the functions so you need not touch the unit. I got the carry case too which is a neoprene type material so the unit is protected when removed from the cradle and there is a slot on the back for the remote.

If I decide to change my car stereo system in the future, I know that I can hook up the Revo to my home stero amplifier or mini speaker system. A definite 5 stars from me :-)

As with most of the these adapters, they are not meant to last but this one truely declined at a good rate of speed. If you buy these types of adpaters , you really cannot expect much to be honest.

If you have an ipod there is"Griffin RoadTrip 4031 - FM Transmitter & Charger for iPods - Black" note - i do believe it is illegal in the UK but still sold on Amazon, basically you attach to ipod and it broadcasts an FMsignal that your can tune you car radio to.
