Great value for money and great coffee!!

I bought this for our office and it has been absolutely brilliant! The choice of beverages is great - something for everyone, the capsules aren't too expensive and they're often on special offer at supermarkets. The coffee is good quality even for the picky coffee drinkers in our office, it's quick, easy to use and robust!

It requires 'coffee pods'

It doesn't make it clear in the description, but this machine needs 'coffee pods' instead of normal coffee. I probably wouldn't have bought it if I knew this beforehand, but it is a good machine. It makes good coffee and feels well built. The coffee pods do make life easier, but if you're particular about the way you like your coffee you might be disappointed.

Not a hot plate, but a keep warm jug!!. Fantastic.

This is a very simple to use coffee machine. It has everything you need, and a digital display. The jug does not sit on a hot plate but keeps the coffee warm as it is air tight and made of a very thick metal so you can take it into the garden or wherever you want. The coffee does not taste like plastic and with the machine you also get a 50% off a purchase of a very posh coffee on a certain website. You can tell the machine to start before you get up by using the digital display. The coffee comes out fairly hot for a filter coffee maker and the machine is made extremely well.

Brilliant!!!!!!!!!

I really was a bit doubtfull about buying this item however its brilliant.
As the only odd cup a day coffee drinker in a house full of tea drinkers it never seemed worth kicking the coffee machine into use as I always seemed to spend more time cleaning it than making coffee. This is great it does just enough for one very quickly and is so quick and easy to clean too. I will point out though that although it says 2 cups it only really makes one decent size one which is perfect for me but may not be for everyone.

Luke warm is optimistic

Makes nice coffee but it is just not hot. You can down the whole cup as soon as its made and it still feels as though you've left it to cool for 10 mins. Or have I just got a rogue machine? Obviously not if the review above is typical.

Swithched from Tassimo for the extended range of coffeees (which is a major bonus) but if I have to microwave each completed cup to make it warm enough then I reckon even at £179 its way too expensive.

Cannot begin to describe just how hugely disappointed I have been with the machine.

Wow! Best £20 I've spent in a long time!

Don't hesitate buying this filter machine. It's easy to use, the coffee tastes great and most importantly it produces hot, and I mean piping hot coffee. It Looks great and the house smells of the wonderful aroma of fresh coffee. Check-out my review of the Gaggio Evolution (red) machine, It's not good!.

Excellent quick coffee maker which keeps coffee hot!

The clue is in the title. This is an excellent quick coffee maker which keeps the coffee hot! I bought this for work but should our coffee maker at home die I would replace it with one of these. I hate tepid coffee, especially if you have to wait for it! Good value and not too bulky. There's not much more to say about a coffee maker. It doesn't take photos, play games or make toast but as a coffee maker it would be hard to beat.

One of lifes little luxuries !!

What a brilliant little machine.... after reading other peoples reviews I decided to treat myself and I'm glad I did. I can wholeheartedly say after buying this over 6 weeks ago it has completed its trial period; living up to my expectations and better. OK its a pain not being able to buy the cofee in the shop, but its so easy to order online and very reasonably priced.
The aeroccino is great...one little tip is to make sure you don,t leave the hot milk waiting at all before you pour onto the hot coffee and give it a stir too. I love big cups of cofee and it works really well.
Its small and easy to use ....time for another little luxury I think!

Fill your home with the smell of coffee at a reasonable price

I bought this to replace an electric espresso maker I used at home. I have mastered how much to tamp the coffee down depending on how finely it is ground. The coffee temperature is an improvement on my electric machine. Taste is not impaired as long as you do not use too strong a flame as this will cause the coffee to boil in the uppermost compartment. For home use, this is very useful and fills the house with a beautiful smell of coffee. It is easy to clean and sturdier than I expected. I have not used any similar machine to this one. Five stars reflects the price and overall ease of use once mastered.

DeLonghi BCO255 Pumped Combi Coffee Maker

I purchased this combi coffee maker for my husband's birthday in december. As soon as it arrived the espresso water tank had a leak. I went on amazon website to check their return policy. I was amased how simple and effortless this process was. pressed a few buttons and DHL were there the following day to pick it up. I didn't have to do anything. 10 out of 10 to amazon for customer service. We did like this coffee maker, so we decided to get another one a month later, thinking that they can't be all faulty. It arrived sooner than we expected and it seemed to be all right untill a week or two later I noteced some water at the pack of it. The new machine had the same problem. We had the same fantastic experience returning the item (probably because we were still covered by the extended return policy during X-mas period). So, this coffe maker is a fantastic idea, but unfortunately it doesn't work. For that reason can't recommend it at all.

Yes, but...

...A few small problems.
1) You have to buy the coffee from the appalling Nestlé company
2) There is 18% sugar in the milk for the cappuccino. Fine if you are sugar-addicted. As they presumably hope you'll become.
3) Try finding the espresso capsules in the shops! Being the only one worth drinking, they sell out and are replaced VERY slowly. Clearly Nestlé hope you'll drink the other stuff.

Well,............for a long,long,time now i have been looking for a machine that could make"Starbucks" quality espresso's quickly, relatively cheaply, with no mess. That machine is now here.It is solidly built,pretty small,and not really that noisy at all.I got it for Christmas, and it was so good that by 4 o'clock I had drank 9 of the 12 free capsules that came with it. The coffee is as strong as you will ever need,I would know,I like it like treacle.It is also a breeze to adjust the amount that comes out for each of the preset button pushes.
The only problem is not really a problem. The capsules can only be bought online,which is a piece of piss really,or in a fancy shop in London Town.They are 23p each, compared to about 19p for the tassimo, senseo, dolce gusto etc. I don't think anyone will ever try all 4 of the types for a full comparison, but why does Nestle make 2 of these . Obviously one is an upmarket product methinks.If all one is after is a top notch hot Espresso in 15 second's look no further.

Unimpresserd

If this hadn't been a gift, it would have gone back. The lid of the machine is"floppy", the lid of the flask falls open when the coffee's poured and it's not easy to put the water in.

The temperature does appear spot-on however and, if you put a paper filter into the permanent plastic one, there's no problem with taint.

The best coffee!

A friend of mine is a big fan of the Aeropress - he has one at the office and one at home, so he bought me one of these for a birthday present last year, and seriously, it makes the best coffee - a really authentic espresso taste. Putting the filter-paper and base together and measuring out the coffee takes only as long as it takes to boil a cup of water, so it's really quick. I thought the metal stove-top espresso coffee makers were good (I wore out three of them), but this is better. It's best for just one or two cups of espresso, but by boiling and frothing the milk, you can make a proper cappucino. Or you can add more boiled water to the cup and make an Americano (a slightly weaker coffee). I'm an espresso-lover, and I'm thoroughly impressed.

Great fresh coffee in an instant

I bought this machine as a Christmas present for my parents who enjoy a coffee at weekends. As I rarely drink coffe I had to do a bit of research on the types of machine available and the Nespresso capsule system seemed the best option. The capsules may not be for the real coffee connoisseur who enjoys taking fresh coffee beans and doing things from scratch, but for great coffee quickly and with minimal hassle it has got to be the way to go. It also allows people to have different types of coffee, each capsule is for one cup of coffee, so if someone wants decaffeinated, no problem, there is no time lost cleaning out the beans and making another blend.

The M200 is extremely easy to use and comes with a very good step by step guide to ensure someone with no prior knowledge of coffee machines can produce first rate espressos & cappuccinos straight away.

I was very surprised at how quickly the machine heated the water, and the swapping from coffee making to milk frothing only takes seconds. The machine is manually controlled which not only makes it cheaper but allows you to be in full control of how much water you use per capsule. I found that after frothing milk for a cappuccino the light would be flashing to indicate the water was too hot for the next cup of coffee. This is solved by squirting a bit of water out either milk nozzle or coffee nozzle to allow immediate use for the next cup.

It is very easy to order the capsules by internet or phone. There is a delivery charge of 4 or 5 pounds depending on quantities ordered.

This machine is an absolute steal at this price. It provides everything you need to make great coffee easily. My parents love it. The best accolade I can give is that after a life time of tea drinking I may even buy one of these for myself for the odd weekend cup of coffee as well.

Brilliant Machine

My daughter bought this as a Christmas present, my first thought was 'not another machine' definitely NOT just another machine, this machine is brilliant, I use it every day and love all the coffees available. I have not bought a coffee since as I know they can't compare to my machine!

Excellent easy to use machine, great design, nice coffee

To get an espresso with a good even crema, warm the machine up first (including the coffee holder) by putting some boiling water through. Add finely ground coffee, tamping it down well. Fill the machine with more boiling water than you actually need, before squeezing a small amount through. If you only use a small amount of water the machine doesn't develop enough pressure for a proper espresso.

Perfect Espresso for the Lazy Coffee Lover

I consider myself a bit of a coffee snob. When in restaurants, I scan the bar area to see if they have a proper coffee machine and an employee who might have had some barista training. I do not enjoy drip coffee. Instant is out of the question.

If you love good coffee but can't be bothered faffing about with actually making it, this machine is tops. I am in coffee heaven.
