Bad luck or bad choice?
I unwrapped it, plugged it in, and worked for a wee bit -- kind ofa gasoline smell, but otherwise ok. After 10 mins or so it gave up the ghost
and never worked again.
Perhaps it was just a fluke, however I note:
-- there's no indicator light, so you can't tell if it's on or not.
-- the two settings are very crude: on full blast and not-on-very-much-at-all
-- the documentation consisted of one page, which covered many different heaters with completely different features -- without saying which sentences applied to which model. So you had to read the whole thing with
the words"if applicable" applied to every line. Perhaps they were saving
money on technical writers?
