GREATTT STUFF!!

im buying my 3rd pair today, the first pair broke, but i think it was because i rolled over one of the wires repeated with my desk chair by mistake and them them the headphones in my pocket with choclate that melted and went all over them !! :(

the second pair i lost poo!!

but ive had soo much pleasure and joy from this pair i cant live without them and had to purchese them immendiently :P

only ever issues i had was hearing a slight stactic noise in the background when quite music was playing but i think this is a common complaint from my sony model w810i phone, another thing is when a song ends some times you near a loud"snap" as the power dies down. not to sure what that was a about but not enough to diminish the great value this product is. if you are looking for cheap headphones then this baby is it, dont even bother looking at anything else and possibly be disappointed or pay more no gain, these are the ones for you!! :D

Just the job

This item is the perfect match for my creative zen. The outer covering is very soft to touch and looks the biz. Inside it's sturdy and will definitley provide good protection. The player fits just right with access to all the buttons and ports. Worth the money and highly recommended.

Mini Hi Fi ... in a bag

I am absolutely stunned by these tiny but never tinny speakers. I have connected my Zen to them and am currently listening to a bit of Elvis Costello and Bruce Thomas's bass guitar is singing out across my kitchen. Cannot believe how good they sound for such a portable item. Very happy!

Very Good... but soooo annoying!!!

I own an 80GB i-pod classic and purchased these headphones as a replacement and on first usage i could tell that they were a bargain as the sound quality was great... but i noticed that my i-pod kept randomly pausing itself like it automatically does when you pull your headphones out...

at first it was a minor inconvenience but now it is just a massive annoyance as, if my ipod moves in my pocket it will pause now (even when on hold) and I'm just having to"put up" with the problem as there is no way to fix it

A Great Little MP3 Player!

I really liked my Creative Zen Nano, it was reliable (even after being dropped several times), the sound quality was good, and I didn't even change the headphones that came with it, because they were okay too. I really did not want to give into the iPod fad, when you could get something so much better from a far superior company! The only thing I didn't like is that it used batteries and therefore wasn't rechargable.

I'm sad to see it go, but I'm swapping it for a Creative Zen!

Poor product and even poorer after sales service

I bought this as an alternative to an ipod. Big mistake!! Just over a year after buying it (wouldn't you know!) it stopped connecting to my PC. I contacted Amazon who put me in touch with Creative who suggested wiping and reloading the firmware, which I tried to do. Unfortunately because it wouldn't connect with my PC I couldn't reload the firmware, effectively leaving me with a brick. Because it was just outside 12 months neither Amazon nor Creative wanted to know. Creative even had the cheek to offer me a refurbished unit for about £100 or a brand new replacement for a fiver more than I had paid for the original. Avoid like the plague!!!

Skype webcam

I have now used this webcam for over a year. It is an excellent item. Very clear pictures and works beautifully with Skype.

Good

I found this remote control really useful if I wanted to play music but keep my Zen Micro in my bag. This remote lets you switch between the FM Radio and the album that you last listened to, it also lets you control the volume and play,pause,rewind,fast forward music.

This is also sometimes easier to control than the actual Zen Micro.

the phones are really good but wish they could be a bit tighter on the ears hence the 4 star rating.

Good idea but not executed correctly

Hi Guys,

If this thing was just slightly bigger than the screen then it would be perfect but I fitted mine and it was just slightly squint, me being the perfectionist I am, I ripped it back off.

I think they should give you more than one 1 for £5. The stuff must be worth about 1p if that. There is absolutly no margin fo error here when fitting the thing. I went into Maplins and bought PDA screen protector and that was cheap and nasty so now ive wasted about £12 trying to protect my screen.

I want to like them...

I bought these headphones for use at work. I wanted some clip-ons so that I could just clip one ear on and keep the other free, so I could listen to music while working but not isolate myself from whatever is going on around me in the office. When attempting to do this with simple earphones, I often found myself catching the cable as I moved my arms across the desk and yanking the earphone from my ear with annoying regularity.

So these clip-ons were a big improvement in that respect. No mess, no fuss, very light, very comfortable on the ear. Okay they are ’plastic-y’, but in a nice, smooth way.

The problem lies with sound leak. Turn these up to any remotely decent volume and you’re sharing it with co-workers around you. I wouldn’t even dream of using these with my iPod on the train or bus, not unless I wanted to annoy every other passenger around me. The sound quality itself is not great, not terrible, but I’m no audiophile.

As for cable length, the cable is very short. This is fine for me as I have an extension cable attached to the back of my PC, otherwise it’s painfully short.

In terms of look, feel, weight and comfort, I like them a lot. Unfortunately if you’re seeking sound quality and privacy I can’t recommend these.

Zen V+ mains charger & skin

Great product - charges Creative Zen V+ quickly & you can use the Zen while charging- ie whilst connected to my hifi, etc.
Silicone Skin great too.

Here is a quick straight forward review about the zen micro

i brought the item two weeks ago from creative store when i recieved it i realized after a bit of trouble that no matter what you have to install software from cd first making sure you upgrade firmwre or else you have trouble doing anything with it ones install you can do anything it is perfect as you can see from many reviews enjoy you got so much things you can do installing songs is easy have fun like i did leave a good feedback to the person you brought it off but suddenly you accidently a little bit or even tap it against a table accidently and then you realize your problem starts as it wont load anythingbut the creative sign maybe the computer can find it no it cant well i should be able to use the recovery option oh no it loads when you click on any it just pauses. so you do some research find bad reviews realize it contains moving parts inside it and so you decide to send it bad paying money for postage plus they tell you to fax then the proof of delivery so that if you dont have it what you got against them oh well it doesn't matter about the extra money i had to burn or the bad customer service but at least i got another one but get ready the whole cycle will start again but you but so much days trying to get the item from them that you warrenty ran out

Great gadget

Bought this as a small present and very impressed with just how easy it was to use, in about 5 minutes I had worked out how to navigate around all the menus and another 5 minutes to work out how to upload music onto the player. You don't have to install the software either, its detected by WinXP straight away as soon as you plug it in a USB port and then you can access it just like any other device

I left it playing a repeat loop with some music I uploaded to it after charging the battery to full straight out of the box, and it was still playing the next morning over 7 hours later with headphones connected sp left it playing until the battery was totally discharged and charged it back to fully charged in less than 2 hours via the USB port

Well worth it, and better built than an iPod without using the clunky software that must be installed, you do not have to install ANY software with this player, just plug it into any USB port and thats it, assuming you have WinXP or above that is, Win98 will need drivers installing

Pointless Accessory

My docking station came as a freebee if I sent off for it when buying my MP3 player from Amazon and, all credit to Creative, they were prompt in sending it to me. The docking station adds nothing that the little gizmo that you plug into the bottom of your Creative MP3 player allows anyway. Certainly, your pleyer looks very pretty in the docking station but it adds absolutely no facilities. Additionally, I keep my MP3 player in an excellent transparent protective skin and it will not fit into the docking station in this skin, so if I wanted to use the docking station I would have to remove it from its protective skin. The docking station may look fine but adds nothing.

Lovely machine but ...

I've had my Zen for six months or so now and had been very pleased with it until recently. It looks great, is easy to use and the sound quality is superb. However a week ago it froze and, like others here, I just couldn't get it to re-start at all. The computer kept telling me the machine wasn't connected and the re-set button didn't seem to have any effect.

I was just about to take it back to the shop when I tried re-loading the software on my computer and - bingo - it all sprang to life again. It may be worth a try if, like lots of others, you're having the same problem.

I have absolutely no idea why this worked, but it did and my Zen and I are now happily reunited. Call it a flash of inspiration if you like but it was done one night when I couldn't sleep due to my husband's snoring so he ought to take credit really.

I agree with others - the machine is great while it works, but the user support when it doesn't is non-existent.
