Although the book is Canadian, all of the ingredients are easy to find here and all of the recipes look very easy and straightforward to make.
The supplied bone shaped cutters are surprisingly sturdy and make a great doggy bone shape.
My dog Dougal loved the biscuits and I am looking forward to making all of them for him.

Doggy Delight!
I have only made one batch of these so far but my dog was driven mad by the smell and couldn't wait for them to cool down!Although the book is Canadian, all of the ingredients are easy to find here and all of the recipes look very easy and straightforward to make.

The only negative is that if you do use it with unpeeled garlic then occassionally you will see tiny bits of peel in the pressed garlic. But really, there is very very little.

As good as promised
The best garlic press I've used. No peeling necessary and there is very little wasted garlic (some does stick to the peel). All of the peel comes out of the basket in one lump which makes it quick and easy to use.The only negative is that if you do use it with unpeeled garlic then occassionally you will see tiny bits of peel in the pressed garlic. But really, there is very very little.

Stylish and sharp!
This elegant pizza cutter has a sharp cutting wheel that makes easy work of pizza bases (even deep crust!). It has a rubberised grip so it's comfortable to hold and doesn't slip. It seems easy to clean too (the label says it's dishwasher safe). I like the metallic finish on it too.For the current prize of £4.25 I'd say this is an absolute bargain.

Difficult to master technique
I must admit I'm finding it really hard to master the technique of using this mandolin. For example if I cut a carrot across the width of the carrot, the slices are fine on the leading edge of the slice of carrot, but the other edge is paper thin, so I'm getting slanted slices and end up with an unusable shape of carrot left in the slider. It will effectively be a triangular shape and because one edge has made it to the stalks I can't keep cutting it. It seems as though I need to apply far too much pressure on the slider to get an even slice.Apart from that, it is a sturdy machine and easy to clean, I just rinse it under the tap.
