good value

I was going to buy one of these on the high street for my camera. I'm glad i did'nt because i would have paid around £60. I know there are cheaper but i like to by branded and as i can get branded name i can trust at reasonable price at Amazon, i can't lose.

Lens adapter and lenses for Finepix E550

This adapter lets you use filters or telephoto or wide angle lenses with the FinePix E550, but if you want a camera with interchangable lenses I would recommend spending a bit more on the s7000 or an SLR. To fit the adapter you first have to remove the adapter ring from the camera, which is a simple bayonet fitting. The adapter is easily lined up and clicks into place as you turn it. The lenses attach to the adapter with a 43mm screw thread. The TL Lens can only be used on full telephoto, and the WL Lens on full wide angle, so they don't act as variable zoom lenses. The WL obscures the optical viewfinder and flash. Neither lens can be used with filters so there is no way of protecting the lenses when in use with the lens cap off. You can use 49mm filters on the lens adapter in place of the lens but you also need a 43-49mm adapter ring. To change lenses you need to remove the lens with its adapter, unscrew the lens from the adapter, replace the adapter and then screw in the other lens. That's fine as long as you are indoors and have time to set up the shot. Outdoors you need to be a juggler or have an assistant! It's just doesn't have the speed and convenience of an SLR bayonet fitting. On the other hand it's a lot lighter to carry this complete system than the equivalent SLR.

I take pictures for a living and this card is the one I use most - taking hundreds of pictures every day

Never had a problem - read / write speed is good too (using either a 30D or 5D)

Fuji have always included long warranty with their cards which shows they have confidence that their quality control is very good

Even so - I'd rather have four 1GB cards than one 4GB - not putting all your eggs in one basket and all that

2) If you're even thinking about buying this camera, try doing a quick search on the next model up, the S5800, and you'll find that Amazon are selling it for £36 less than this one.
