Review for Olympus Mju 760 Digital Compact Camera - Light Silver (7.1MP, 3x Optical Zoom) 2.5" LCD:
It has a whole host of useful features that I didn't expect to find in a compact camera this cheap, and the menu is very helpful if you're new to photography. It features a whopping 22 different scene modes, and unlike most cameras I've tried these ones seem to work pretty well! In the menu is also a"guided mode" where you select what you're trying to do through a series of questions and the camera sets the settings for you! It's amazingly quick to do this actually, and the results are very good I've found.
The anti-shake feature seems to do its job to a limited degree, but it does give a noticeable improvement. It can be a little annoying trying to delete photos, as you can't select the ones you want to delete and do it all in one, but it's no major issue and doesn't affect it's ability to take a good photograph.
The screen is great, just as I'd expect and with no problems at at all. It's supposed to have a viewing angle of 140 degrees, but in reality it's more like 180 degrees! Can see it perfectly from any angle, which is really useful if taking photos in awkward places. Brightness of the screen can also be boosted for if you're out in strong sunlight, making it a lot easier to see.
One thing I'm really impressed by is the battery life! The battery is very small and lightweight, but even so it far outlives the battery lives of previous compacts I've owned.
The weatherproofing is great too, it's handled being out in the rain absolutely fine which is something I dare not to do with my DSLR. The brushed metal body is great aesthetically too.
So overall, if you're looking for a no-nonsense camera at a very reasonable price then I'd definitely recommend this camera.

Exactly what I expected, nothing more and certainly nothing less.
I recently won this camera in a photo competition run by The Telegraph, and after a few days of it just being sat in it's box I decided to have a go with it (I'm used to using DSLR instead of compact.) First impressions were great, it has a very fast startup time considering that it has to extend the lens and the photos that it takes are excellently exposed, accurately white balanced and sharp enough for prints up to about A3 size.It has a whole host of useful features that I didn't expect to find in a compact camera this cheap, and the menu is very helpful if you're new to photography. Review for Samsung i70 Digital Camera - Pink (7.2MP, 3x Optical Zoom) 3" LCD:
I have calmed down now and inbetween time I bought a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 which is a fantastic camera and most importantly the inlaws love it. Also I spoke to a friend who works at Samsung UK office in Brentford and he said a girl working there had a similar bad experience with the i70 when she took her Christmas photos.
I rate this camera with zero stars. Please do not waste your money.

Complete Waste of Money
I bought this camera from Argos as a Christmas gift for my inlaws because I read it was very easy to use and it featured Shake Reduction and Face Recognition. Before mailing the gift to them I tried it out, it looked pretty good out of the box but it did feel a little heavy for it's size. I took a photo with the camera set to auto inside the house with the lights on, between the button press and the photo taken there was at least half a second delay which was disappointing, my phone performs better. The picture quality looked reasonable for an indoor shot with the flash. I turned the flash off and Shake Reduction on and took a few photos indoors again. All of these were blurred, I checked to make sure the Shake Reduction was on and I tried again with the steadiest of hands and there was an improvement, the blurring was minimal but the focus was not very good. I tried some more shots indoors and outdoors in auto mode with mixed results, I did notice the flash fired a lot even outdoors in cloudy but bright conditions. After an hour with the camera I decided I had enough, the inlaws would never use the camera and I would never hear the end of it if I gave it to them. I brought the i70 back to Argos for a refund, unfortunately they advised in order to protect my personal security they cannot accept returns for digital cameras...I have calmed down now and inbetween time I bought a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 which is a fantastic camera and most importantly the inlaws love it. Review for Samsung NV3 Digital Camera With MP3 & PMP - Black (7MP, 3 x Optical Zoom) 2.5" LCD:
As previous reviews state, bubbles do occur on the odd picture, which i could understand if it was raining...! Next comes the fiddling through different settings to try and get a decent photo of your favourite artist on stage! Not fun TRYING to find a good setting just to get blurry images whilst missing half the concert. The zoom is useless too at night.
I wanted to write for anyone thinking of buying this camera as I'm sure there is people out there with similar interests and I wish I had read this article before purchasing this camera.
The only thing I can give this camera credit for it its looks and takes good photos in daylight (which my phone camera can do!)

Not great for concerts and night photograghy
This camera from the outside looks great! Problems occur as soon as you turn this thing on. For a young male who mainly takes his camera out on nights out and to concerts alot of my snapping is done at night...obviously. I just cannot take a decent photo with this camera at night! As previous reviews state, bubbles do occur on the odd picture, which i could understand if it was raining...! Review for Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S650 Digital Camera - Silver (7.2MP, 3x Optical Zoom) 2.0'' LCD:
This is an excellent camera and so easy to use. My daughter has taken some superb pictures in her first few weeks of using it and I haven't had to delete that many due to out of focus pics.
The price is also fantastic. I was in duty free last week and they were selling at £129.00 which apparantly is a £20.00 saving.
There is no view finder with this camera so using it in bright sunshine can sometimes be a little challenging but all in all a good all round camera. Not bad for little video clips also. Her brother now wants one as he thinks it is better than his Kodak! :-)
If you are looking for a reasonably priced good quality camera then you can' go wrong with this one.

I had the model down from this camera it was amazing the screen is crystal clear and the software which comes with it is really well organised so you can view your pictures day by day based on when you took them which i really liked. It is also really strong and super skinny which is great to take out and about however beware mine was stolen last weekend and now i realise just how great it was. So learn from my mistake and take good care of it :(71

If like me you are looking for a camera that you can adjust every setting similar to an expensive SLR to achieve the perfect shot but your partner does not share the same camera savvy and only wants to point and fire then go no further as this camera has everything you could want and more that you might try for the first time at an unbeatable price. Thanks Cannon.

great pictures at a great price but eats batteries
This is a superb camera for the price.I was impressed with the size and quality feel of the camera. The pictures are great and LCD screen is a fantastic aid for getting a good picture. There are various settings to shoot the perfect picture, easily accessed and altered using the dials on the camera. There is also a shutter cover that works automatically to protect the lens.My only criticisms, and they apply to most digital cameras,is you need to purchase an SD Card as the onboard memory isn't sufficient and the camera eats up batteries.I purchased rechargeable batteries and a charger to solve the issue.Don't let that put you off,it's great value for money and i highly recommend it to all.73

Best digital camera I own
I was a little nervous buying a camera from the company that made my TV. From the moment it was delivered I have been amazed at the light weight yet solid feel and the excellent results in a wide range of lighting conditions. 7mpx give great detail when printed at A4, and zoomed to three or four times that size. A good camera for anyone who wants great quality pictures without needing a masters degree in electronics.78

Review for Olympus SP-550 Ultra Zoom Digital Camera - Anthracite (7.1MP, 18x Optical Zoom) 2.5" LCD:
Brilliant camera!
I have owned my Olympus Sp550uz for 6 months now and I am delighted with it. Yes there are one or two small problems but I will come to that later. The image stabiliser is fantastic - on holiday in Croatia I snapped away through the window (using the Through Glass setting)on a moving coach with great results. The colour and sharpness of the images is excellent. The 18 times zoom is fantastic for taking pictures of wildlife and the image stabiliser keeps the images reasonably sharp without using a tripod. It is easy to negotiate your way through the menus and settings unlike lots of other well known makes of camera. I use the view finder most of the time as I find it difficult to view an LCD screen especially in bright light and you can use the view finder to see the menus and settings which is fantastic. The pre set scene modes are easy to use and give excellent results. On the down side, the auto focus is a bit erratic but can be lived with or turned off - it doesn't affect the final result. The original batteries lasted well but I havent yet found any re-chargeable batteries which are long lasting in this camera. The battery warning on the camera doesnt show as a gauge as on other cameras, you just get a red light when the batteries have run out and a warning sound then the camera goes off so you do need to have extra sets of batteries with you. I really enjoy using this camera it feels good and sturdy. It is not a lightweight camera but not as heavy as an SLR - and who needs and SLR with this beauty?80

Best Camera I've used yet!
I bought the H5 to replace my older Sony PSC73 which had been a good camera but only 4MP. I'm very happy with the results achieved from the H5, including the speed mode to photogarphing buses moving at high speed and the result 'pin sharp'. The 12X zoom is also ace too, found to be very useful at times. I was considering a Cannon EOS like a friend had but notice him struggle with all the functions and gain not amazing results so the H5 fitted the bill well.7 to 7.9 Megapixel, Samsung NV7 Digital Camera - Black (7.0MP, 7xOptical Zoom With Optical Stabilisation) 2.5" LCD, Panasonic - Lumix DMC-LZ7 silver, Ricoh - RR770 Caplio in black, FE270, Olympus Mju 760 Digital Compact Camera - Light Silver (7.1MP, 3x Optical Zoom) 2.5" LCD, Samsung i70 Digital Camera - Pink (7.2MP, 3x Optical Zoom) 3" LCD, Samsung NV3 Digital Camera With MP3 & PMP - Black (7MP, 3 x Optical Zoom) 2.5" LCD, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S650 Digital Camera - Silver (7.2MP, 3x Optical Zoom) 2.0'' LCD, GE A735 Digital Camera RED 7MP Zoom + Hard Case+1GB SD, Olympus FE-230 Digital Compact Camera - Silver (7.1MP, 3x Optical Zoom) 2.5'' LCD, Canon PowerShot A550 Digital Camera - Silver (7.0MP, 4x Optical Zoom) 2.0" LCD, Samsung S750 Digital Camera - Silver (7MP, 3 x Optical Zoom) 2.5" LCD, Casio - Exilim Zoom EX-Z77 blue, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55 Digital Camera - Pink (7.2MP, 3x Optical Zoom) 2.5'' LCD, Samsung S750 Digital Camera - Black (7MP, 3 x Optical Zoom) 2.5" LCD, Samsung S730 Digital Camera - Black (7.2MP, 3x Optical Zoom) 2.5" LCD, Panasonic DMC-FZ8EB-S Digital Camera - Silver ( 7.2MP , 12 x Optical) Antishake, 2.5" LCD, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T10 - Silver (7.2MP, 3x Optical Zoom) 2.5" LCD, Olympus SP-550 Ultra Zoom Digital Camera - Anthracite (7.1MP, 18x Optical Zoom) 2.5" LCD, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H5 - Digital Camera - SLR-Style - 7.2 Mpix - Optical Zoom: 12 x - supported memory: Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo - silver

Brilliant
i am studying art and this camera is perfect. its versatile, has a range of features and is relatively easy to use.my brother takes photography very seriously and recently bought an SLR for about 3x the price of the NV7 but they are very similar in quality, and features such as the super macro on the NV7 definitely rival, if not beat, that of the SLR.
often times its a bit worrying taking a good camera out and about with you in case it gets damaged, but the NV7 is a sturdy thing and because its price is affordable in terms of camera standards, you can risk damaging it in order to get a perfect photo- i've been taking it around with me constantly since i got it a few months ago, got loads of brilliant shots that i never would have with a normal camera- and its still intact.
a lot of reviews talk about problems with noise - i've only had problems with this on a setting with high ISO, and even so its barely noticable. my advice would be to use it to your advantage, shots in black and white work nicely with noise.
overall, amazing camera.
