Not a Z series battery

I searched Klic-8000 for a replacement battery for my Kodak Z612, it brought up this battery for the Z series, BUT, it doesn't fit my Z612 or the Kodak charger that I got with the camera.

So make sure that before you buy it is a proper Klic-8000 battery not the 2X AA batteries joined together type.

Cannon NB-5L battery charger

Red light charging, green light charge complete, simple.

I used this twice already and charge times varied between 45mins and hour and half, both times the battery was almost empty, I'm sure this will charge quicker if your battery still has some life in it.

Overall, its a battery charger, nothing complicated and easy to use.

Well worth the money.

This is a lovely looking piece of kit, nice to handle and smaller than I anticipated which makes the performance surprisingly good. I bought it because of the price and with no great expectations. The still pictures are much better than my 3.2 meg phone camera and stand up well to similar spec'd still cameras. The video is about as good as you could expect for the price. You would not use it to take serious footage but as a holiday camcorder it is just the ticket. I bought a 2Gb SD card for less than £5 and although I recorded much of a 2 week holiday with the family it was all I needed. Its an outdoor camera and the video quality suffers in low light. The mic lacks some sensitivity and unless you have a bunch of people close to the camera playback sound is a little muted. Playing around with it for a weekend soon gave me confidence to use it on holiday. The screen is bright and has all the tech info you could need if you want it. All in all excellent value for money, just don't expect too much.

Fantastic for the price!

I've now had this camera for a couple of weeks and have to say it's so far so good. Having owned a couple of smaller Fuji models, I umm-ed and ahh-ed over whether to go for a larger bodied camera or just another small compact that could easily fit in my pocket. In the end, I eventually decided to go for the larger one on the assumption that if I ever want to get more into photography I'd need something with a little more"horse power" than a 3x optical zoom. It'll probably never happen but there's always time left yet. (I've also now bought a Samsung NV8 to take care of my compact needs which I'll review separately).

While it feels large next to my compacts, when stood alongside my old 35mm Canon EOS 700 from way back in the early 90's, it's tiny by comparison and it makes you realise just how small gadgets have become over the last two decades. However, although it feels nice and solid, it is still reasonably chunky and heavy and you certainly do have to wear it round your neck which can become rather a drag after a while...

The photos I've taken so far are perfectly okay but then again I'm a philistine and will readily admit that I don't have an eye for professional photography. However, neither are most other people and you're almost certainly going to look the part at weddings and parties unless there's a real pro in the house! It doesn't have red eye reduction (which I thought it might when I bought it) but so far I've only managed to take one red eye photo of my daughter who I was beginning to think was borne of the devil judging by my previous cameras! The batteries - I use 2000mh rechargeables - seem to last for ever even with fairly high use of the zoom and my insistence on taking three shots of everything I choose to shoot. If there is to be a negative, it's the small fact that the cable link is yet another non-standard size USB one (I now have three Fuji cameras all with different size cables!) meaning yet another cable to store safely.

So while this isn't exactly a review - there are professionals who can do that properly elsewhere - I'll just offer my opinion that this is a very nice camera which I certainly don't regret buying - something you can't always say these days with so much over-hyped, over-priced garbage around. There's definitely room for my skills to grow with this camera and I'd just better get out there and start making use of everything on the S5800 that I'm sure is idly waiting for me there ready to use.

Having purchased this product I can confirm that this battery is compatible with the TZ3, TZ4 and TZ5. Also this is an official and genuine Panasonic battery, hope this helps!

This battery fits the Digital IXUS 400 camera and has lasted me for 256 photo's so far on 1 charge (with screen on and also shooting two 3 minute movies) Exactly the same battery as the one supplied in the IXUS box.

Watch out canon 5 star performer

I have been using this battery for the last 6 months. What a performer every bit as good as the real thing and a fraction of the price. I have tried copies before with very limited sucess but this one fantastic holds its charge really well and just keeps on delivering. Take 50-200 raw images put away for 2/3 weeks take it out do the same thing again and again a full charge lasts for about 1000+ raw images spread out over 8-10 weeks.
You can get half a dozen of these for the price of a true canon NB-2L but one is all you need.

bought from this seller,fantastic communication and fabulouse product,would recomend to everyone.came in less time time than exspected amazon postage was more than the item cost.you cant have to many spares for a camera,i exspect to keep it for a long time,if they stop selling the lumix camera you can bet spares will be hard to come by.
