It's 12 Inches long not 12 feet.
I bought this cable as it is sold by Amazon and was therefore eligible for free delivery with something else more expensive. Other cheaper cables all came from the Market Place so a delivery charge would be added.It's just fine for what I want it for i.e connecting my MP3 player phone to the car stereo. However beware if you want it for the advertised 12 feet length, its only 12 inches long!

Not workig after two months
Bought this in May 2007 and now in July they are not working. No sound comes from the left, sometimes right or both of my headphone. And it is not my headphone since I did check. The extension cable was not damaged from over use, they just stopped working after only 2 months and now I am not even eligible to return them! Best to get it from somewhere else, Amazon is not good for headphone extension cables.
