Great value

It works straight out of the box: I just put a 2.5" drive in the case, plugged the case into a USB slot (using the supplied cable) and it worked. As easy as that. Sure, it's not built to withstand heavy treatment but then you don't throw your hard drives around that much. Do you?? Will buy a couple more.

A worth while investment

After losing one of my secure digital memory cards, I decided that it was time to invest in some proper storage for them. Strangely enough I discovered that there isn't actually a great variety of products designed for this purpose. Maybe I was looking in the wrong places, but I could only find this Lowepro memory card holder and a SanDisk one. Nevertheless I decided to buy this one and for the most part I'm very happy with it.

It does what it's designed to do, offering stylish protection for my memory cards. There is nothing major I can fault about the card holder itself. It's compact, well built, gives you easy access when you need it, while remaining shut when you don't, and honestly it looks pretty professional and rather neat.

Like other reviewers have rightfully mentioned it would have been good if the card holder was dust and or waterproof. But the only real failing is that it isn't exactly good value for money. Nearly fourteen pounds at time of ordering seems a bit extreme. For that reason I cannot award this product five stars. But still I suppose the price is reasonable when compared to the cost of losing a memory card along with its contents. So still a good purchase and one I'm glad I made.

An Excellent Case for S9600

I purchased this excellent quality leather case for my new Fuji S9600. I am delighted with the quality and the sturdy strap that was included. I had no trouble in fitting my S9600 in the case, complete with neck strap! Simply wrap the strap carefully around the camera body and it fits a treat. The side pocket is on the small side and would have been better with velcro fastening, but the magnet fastening works. I think the pocket is only suitable for a spare XD card or similar, and doubt it is suitable for spare batteries. That said I rate this case highly for quality and am delighted with my purchase.

Great great camera case!!

Can't really think of any negative points about this. You can put it on your belt without having to take your belt off - that's a great feature! It's well built, and a perfect size for almost all compact cameras the size of a Fuji F31fd. Camera fits snugly, and it kept my previous camera looking brand new even after 6 months!

Don't buy this for a W100

This is a great case but not for a Sony W100 unless you want it to rattle around the case like a pea. The case is far too bulky and large and must be more suitable for the earlier more bulky Sony cameras.

Your A460 camera would snugly fit in here

A cute little bag. But, your A460 camera would snugly fit in here. So there would be no visible space for an extra pair of battery. But I normally manage to fit in a pair of AA size batteries in it, without much discomfort when I wear the bag on my belts.

Fast Service

I ordered this item yesterday @ 9am and it arrived 24hrs later. That is an awesome postage service. Well Done. I'm still at work at the moment so have not had a chance to test this with my HDD but will post my impressions as soon as I can. Great Service.

Does not connect to 2.5" SATA Hard Drive.

I found that the connections for my removable PS3 2.5" SATA Hard Drive did not match this enclosure.

After many weeks of deliberation I decided to purchase the Fuji Finepix s8100fd. I ordered it from Amazon on Thursday afternoon (about 3.30pm) and it arrived in the Channel Islands the following day at 11.30am - what superb service! Thank you! I went out on Saturday to see what the camera could do - it was a very bright, blustery day. The pics I took were great, even with the zoom. I used the image stabiliser for most of the pics - and there wasn't one blurred image. I took a picture of Castle Cornet through a shop window - the detail, colour, etc are so very clear. (I haven't yet printed onto proper photo paper, but I am sure I won't be disappointed). Yesterday, Sunday, it was very dull and stormy - and I captured some very good images of the sea crashing over the rocks, etc. I used the full zoom (digital+optical) to photograph the rock + flag (forgotten name), which is way off the coast - and you can see the Guernsey flag very clearly. I then went onto a flower festival and even managed to capture a bee pollinating the flowers! For a very amatuer photographer, who wanted a little more than a small compact camera could do, I am well impressed with this camera. I have now purchased a Lowepro bag for the camera (Edit 110), for carrying around + an SD card.

I read many glowing reviews on other cameras but chose this camera, over the Panasonic DMC-FZ18, because it seemed more robust and was more comfortable to hold. I felt the Panasonic had a 'plastic' feel about it - it didn't feel very strong at all. I have not been able to find any reviews on the Fuji camera, despite many weeks of trawling the Internet. Hopefully this will be useful to other people. I haven't yet begun to look at what else it can do - when I do I will get back to you all.
