Review for Kodak Easyshare C613 Digital Camera - Black (6.2MP, 3x Optical Zoom) 2.4" LCD:
The best part is the help button. Unlike some other cameras, this one really holds your hand through the process and it's virtually impossible to make a mistake. You can toss the manual if you want--that's how helpful it is.
This camera almost does away with Photoshop, but not quite. As I said before, if you want a really good camera for a great price, and you're not looking to have your photos in some contest, this will do nicely.
Would also recommend the SAMSUNG S630--VERY similar with 3X optial zoom and a few more details.

Good middle of the road camera
If you're a professional photo nut, this is probably not for you. Then again, if you are, you wouldn't be looking at this camera. All that aside, the kodak Easyshare is the PERFECT camera for the amateur photographer or average person who just wants good pictures and downloadable capabilities. Great memory storage too.The best part is the help button. Unlike some other cameras, this one really holds your hand through the process and it's virtually impossible to make a mistake. You Get What You Pay
My sister recently bought this model and was not impress by it at all. Firstly, the camera kept switching itself off, even though the battery was new (it was supplied with the pack). Secondly, whilst exploring the various features of this camera, it started to heat up, so much so, that she found it uncomfortable to handle. It may be a faulty one, but she is not waiting to find out. She will be returning this camera and is looking for another brand.10

Review for Kodak EasyShare C603 Digital Camera (6MP 3 x optical zoom):
Lots of crazy features like long exposure time (up to 4 seconds) or consecutive shots (up to 4 autoshots) make for some interesting photos, as well as timer delay.
I've had a play with some of the other camera modes (closeup, self-portrait etc) but I really wont get to test these out until next week... for most photo's, the auto mode works fine, and captures crisp sharp images with excellent colour definition. Interestingly the camera also comes with monochrome or sepia colour modes, which makes for some nice 'ye oldie' style photos.
The camera hooked up to my girlfriends (bless her heart for letting me harass her with the camera all weekend) windows XP computer fine without the need to install drivers, and the photos and movies downloaded pretty quick onto her machine. Most importantly for me however, is that the camera is detected on my Linux machine (Debian w/ 2.6.18 kernel) although the transfer seems a lot slower under Linux (it may need tweaking)
There are some fallbacks which you will need to cover - the camera only has 16Mb internal memory, so it is worth investing in a SD or MMC card. I bought a 1Gig SD card and that holds up to about 900 pictures - or about 45 minutes of video.
Also the batteries that came with the camera are bog standard alkaline. They lasted me about an hour of toying before the camera would no longer power up on them, so unless you want to spend the rest of your life buying batteries, I'd recommend getting some heavy duty rechargeable batteries - I bought some Energizer rechargeable (2500mAh capacity - pack of 4 + charger for under £20) and so far one pair of batteries have lasted the whole day.
overall, its a great little camera with plenty of features.
Oh yeah, its fairly lightweight too.

Review for Kodak EasyShare C603 Digital Camera (6MP 3 x optical zoom):
Great camera for beginner like me
For my first digital camera, I have certainly not been disappointed in purchasing the C603. It has a good sized crystal clear 2.4" screen and I had it working pretty much straight out of the box. The 6.1 mega-pixel resolution (2848x2134) is mind blowing and it has a very easy to use user interface. I haven't got around to reading the manual yet, but I have already discovered plenty of nice features. The A/V out is great for hooking up to the tv - especially useful when you're taking a video of yourself and need a preview - the video itself is pretty good too, although I find you cant zoom whilst in video mode, and the resolution is only 640x480 in video mode (although this should be plenty, and besides, its a stills camera not a camcorder so this is just an added bonus). Movies are recorded in .MOV (quicktime) format.Lots of crazy features like long exposure time (up to 4 seconds) or consecutive shots (up to 4 autoshots) make for some interesting photos, as well as timer delay.

Great Camera
Just received this camera today and have been runing around taking pics of everything just testing all the different modes and its awesome, ok so it is my first decent digital camera but its briliant and so simple to use its so simple the instruction book is pretty much useless. Great camera briliant for the price, small, light, looks good, brilliant pics, great settings, i could go on all day.13

Kodak V803 Review
Very impressed with this camera, have been using it at work mainly. Easy to use and on the whole good functionality. Close up use in macro mode is reasonable and image lighting is useful when used in awkward places and in dark (lets you know where you're pointing the camera). Was that impressed brought one for myself to use, very good price as these were recently going for about £250 in Argos. Very nice in black. Recommend 2GB Transcend SD Memory card, this will give you plenty of room for photo's and video. One touch photo transfer software is also good.14

Review for Kodak EASYSHARE CX7300 - Digital camera - 3.2 Mpix - supported memory: MMC, SD:
1. The flash is not bright enough for pictures taken at full times 3 zoom so you can end up with very dark faces etc
2. If working against a medium dark subject but with something fairly bright nearbye the auto aperture system takes too much notice of the bright out of focus item. Worse the flash is not strong enough to fill in properly.
Pity really as otherwise it is a super point and shoot device and almost wife proof !

Review for Kodak Z710 High Zoom Digital Camera (7.1MP, 10x optical zoom) 2" indoor/outdoor LCD, 32MB internal memory:
The optical zoom is great but needs a steady hand and the self-timer to avoid camera shake. That said I'm considering a tripod now as I do alot of landscape photography. The battery life is pretty poor but other aspects of the camera do make up for it-and AA's are easy to get hold of. The viewfinder is brilliant quite frankly-I love it. It cuts out the glare you get from the normal LCD screen on a bright day and makes you bring the camera close in-reducing wobble, which makes all the difference if you're using half or more zoom.
As a straightforward point and shoot-its fine. If you want to get out and take some good quality outdoor photo's though you need to learn to use it properly. Spend half an hour reading up on the PASM mode and how to use it, then get out and try to put it into practice. It is well worth doing this-once you know what you're doing with it you'll be able to take some spectacular shots.
This is a great camera to introduce you to more advanced photography than just point and shoot and a good stepping stone to a full blown digital SLR.

Smart little camera
Bought this camera as a replacement for my larger CX7300 which has always given good results. But I'm glad I made the change, the C360 is a lovely compact camera, although not as small as some. The pictures I have taken so far have been excellent and the features on the camera are quite easy to get used to. I wanted a camera that would be suitable for all the family to use and would give good results and that is what I got.18

amazing
I've just got this camera for my 21st birthday. It is my first 'proper' digital camera - and I love it! I was a little worried when the batteries supplied with the camera ran out after taking a around 20 pictures, but I got myself a set of 4 rechargeable Ni-MH 2100mAh batteries that charge it about 1 hr, and they last for a lot longer. I love the detail possible with this camera, and I have been using the 'close up' setting a lot. The camera itself is very compact, and fairly small considering what it is capable of.19

Review
I'm no expert and I've only had the camera for a couple of weeks but I know how heavily I rely on the reviews of customers when selecting electronic equipment.Firstly I spent much time agonising over which camera to select, as i'm fairly clueless about these things. In the end i settled on the Kodak M763 because it came as deal of the week on amazon, was under £100, was introduced to the market this year and appeared to have all the things i required like face recognition image stabilizer etc etc.
I haven't been disappointed at all. I gave 4 stars but in actual fact I'd probably give 4.5 if i could (reserving 5 stars for something truly spectacular). It was very easy to set up and the menu was simple to navigate (once i admitted defeat and read the instruction book). It has loads of different 'scene settings', which I'm having great fun working out when and how to use them. To be honest I'm not sure how much difference they all make but it's definitely been good being able to choose my own flash and colour setting.
The only negative things I've noticed is the instruction book is extremely limited but an extensive online option is available, so depending on your view point that could be good or bad. Also i've noticed what i believe people call grainy or noisey photos when the picture is taken indoors with very low lights. Though this could be me using the flash wrong.
Still I'm very pleased with what I have got and would happily make the choice again. I would also recommend buying the memory card suggested by amazon as it's the 10th of the price you would find on the high street.
