Review for Nikon Coolpix 8800 Digital Camera [8MP, 10x Optical Zoom]:
Great camera but accesories expensive
I've had the camera a short while and it has fulfilled all expectations a wonderful bit of kit. The only irritation so far was when I tried to buy a simple skylight filter to protect the lens from scratches. These usually cost a tenner but the screw thread on the 8800 lens is unique to Nikon - and the Nikon equivalent filter is three times the normal price. I presume the same will apply to other accessories (polarising filter, lens hood....).110

Review for Nikon D50 Digital SLR Camera Body Only Silver [6MP]:
A great beginners SLR
If your new to the SLR Camera range, I can heartly recomend this Camera. I did a lot of research when I was looking at SLR’s, and it was a choice between this and the Canon EOS 350D. And I have no regrets going for the Nikon(I have used the Canon too). Its a great camera, easy to use, intuitive, and great looking. I would recomend getting the body only and getting a better lens then the standard you get in the Kits as they are very basic lenses. I would also recomend getting a Tripod, and a Skylight or UV Filter for the lens as protection. You will also need a Memory Card and a Bag!I heartly recomend this Camera, you’ll love it!

Review for Nikon Coolpix 3200 Digital Camera [3MP, 3x Optical Zoom]:
I'm no professional photographer (if I were I wouldn't have this camera!) but I have taken some excellent shots outdoors and also some great close up shots of lichen on a wall etc. I found it excellent for my visit to Australia earlier this year.
The camera has many functions for different situations and has a fairly good quality video setting (15 frames per second) with sound.
My main gripe with this camera is the very poor indoor picture quality in low light. I recently went to a party and took 18 pictures. Only 2 of them were not blurred despite me trying every function I could think of to improve the pictures. Even the"party" mode did not help. Eventually the"camera shake" warning and"this picture is blurred delete?" dialogue frustrated me so much I nearly threw the camera out of the window. Next time I go to a party I'm taking my old APS camera with 400 speed film!!
So if you are looking for a compact and reliable camera that takes great outdoor and good light shots but is simple to use this could be the one for you. But if you're a party animal that wants to take embarrasing photos of your mates when they're drunk - steer clear.

Review for Nikon Coolpix 3200 Digital Camera [3MP, 3x Optical Zoom]:
Great for outdoor shots and well lit indoor shots
I have had my Nikon Coolpix3200 for about 2 years now and overall I am happy with it's performance. Given it is a fairly cheap camera I have got some great shots with it. I like its portability and although the batteries don't last that long at least they're a common size (AA) so you're likely to be able to buy some if you get caught short somewhere. I would recommend 2500mAH rechargable batteries though as this improves both the life and the flash recharge time.I'm no professional photographer (if I were I wouldn't have this camera!) but I have taken some excellent shots outdoors and also some great close up shots of lichen on a wall etc. I found it excellent for my visit to Australia earlier this year.

Coolpix - A cool camera
My son has just brought me one of these back from Hong Kong but to be honest it was only £20 cheaper than the Amazon UK price. However it did come with a spare battery, tripod and 2gb card. The camera has a quality feel to it and fits neatly into the palm of the hand and takes up very little room in a handbag!
The onscreen menu is very easy to follow, even for a dummy like me, and the results seem to be perfect every time.
I have only given it 4 stars though because I feel the prints produced from it aren't so crisp and colourful as my husbands 4mp Kodak.
Apart from that small gripe, it is the ideal companion for someone who wants an easy to use camera.
