Excellent, but with one glaring fault.

I bought this pan from Amazon, and it is very good value and well made. But it has one glaring fault:- The handle gets boiling hot when in use. The instructions say"WARNING The handles of your cookware could become hot. Please use oven gloves or an oven glove at all times."

Oven gloves are for removing hot items from the oven, not for each time one wishes to move a pan on/off the cooker. It is simply not acceptable these days to have handles that can badly burn the skin (which happened to me.) Even cheap pans costing a couple of pounds have bakerlite or similar to prevent burns.

I dont want to put anyone off buying it. As I say, it is basically well constructed and solid, and does an effective job.

I suggest"buy it......but use with care!"

Or alternatively, Amazon do a Meyer poacher that looks much better for a few quid more.......I wish I'd bought that!

Perfect Eggs Every Time

Cooks eggs perfectly, so convenient.

Expected to have to have a few trial runs to get the eggs cooked as I like them. Instead it worked first attempt.

For perfect poached eggs

This is a lovely, sturdy little non-stick egg poacher. The pan is non-stick and can be used on its own, just like any ordinary pan if needed, and the egg poaching cups are non-stick too. It takes about 3 minutes to poach 2 eggs if you get the water boiling first. If you come home tired and hungry, wanting a hot meal that doesn't involve much time or effort, this is just the job. Other features that endear it to me are the fact that it's easy to clean, being non-stick and it's easy to store out of the way being very small.

Highly recommended to all lovers of poached eggs.

nonstick

Don't know what previous reviewer was thinking, having nonstick inside the pan is useless if your poaching eggs. The egg holders are like every other poacher I have used, yes!!! the eggs stick ( Badly ). Very disappointed as this is not a cheap item to purchase. One would think that an egg poacher would have egg holders that would release eggs easily, sorry but would not recommend this poacher to anyone.
