But the screen is AWFUL! Something should be re-worked here somewhere. Plus, the games are pretty pricey for a handheld.... wait for some of them to hit the budget shelves, and then go mental.
But that aside, it is awesome, and I have a hard time putting mine down.

Avatar - The Legend Of Aang - GameBoy Advance
My brother recently purchased this game for the Gameboy Advance as him & my little sister are fans of the cartoon. The game itself picks up from where the cartoon finishes & this may be cool for some people who like the cartoon although I wasn't much impressed. Rated at a PG the game itself is a bit difficult when you get into it however I managed to complete it within about 5 hours which is hardly worth buying if you want a longer-lasting game. I would probably recommend the Playstation 2 version of the game as it has better graphics & lasts longer that of a handheld. For parents alike that may want to buy this for their kids then go ahead, it would raise a smile but expect to lend a helping-hand when the game gets a bit puzzling. The style is.. well to expect from a GBA game a bit 2D like Pokemon (you would get more fun from that I tell you). It also takes alot of logical thinking to solve puzzles & is easy to get lost. Bosses can be a bit tricky if you don't realise what to do. Overall the game's OK but after you complete it, I doubt you'll ever play it again. It's worth taking a look (however more for the young generation).27

Review for Sonic Advance 2:
Sonic Advance 2 fars surpasses its first outing with graphics, moves and new characters. One good thing I noticed was that you only had Sonic at the beginning and you had to unlock the other four, Cream the rabbit and her Chao Cheese, Tails the two tailed fox, Knuckles the echidna and finally Amy Rose the pink hedgehog.
This offered challenge as you had to fight Eggman in order to play as your friends.
The game offers much more tactical moves in order to help you reach higher places or to find secret items or simply to survive. Such as when you are flying through the air and you want to get to a far off platform, you can press both the direction you are heading and the R button and you will gain a small bit of speed to help get there.
The acts and zones are much longer than Sonic Advance which gives you more room to explore and makes it more challenging to find the seven special rings which take you to the special stages in order to find the seven Choas Emeralds.
The boss fights with Eggman have been completely changed. Now you are constantly running and Eggman has a huge machine and has many traps to attack you. Rings appear as you run so use them wisely. He is no push over as some of the bosses have very weel been thought of and it also depends on which character you are using. In my opinion Cream is the best character ti use.
Now with the characters. As usual Sonic is the fastest character, good jumper and has aerobatic moves. Sonic can be used to clear the acts of the zones quickly and to get rid of enemies that can be annoying. These are his advantages, his disadvantages are that it can be hard to find secret things as him since he is very fast and does not have abilities to let him reach high places such as Tails and Cream have their abilty to fly and Knuckles can glide and climb up walls. Sonic can also have a hard time battling against Eggman's bosses. However, Sonic is still of the of the best characters.
Now, onto our new characters, Cream the rabbit and her trusty Chao friend Cheese. Most people assume that Cream isn't a very good character because of her appearance but do not judge a book by its cover as Cream shows this. First of all, she is not like Amy in Sonic Advance, Cream has a good running speed and when she jumps she also rolls into a ball like Sonic, Tails and Knuckles while Amy cold not do this. Cream can also fly by flapping her ears, Cream is a faster flyer than Tails but you have more control over Tails and he has a longer amount of time in the air. Cream attacks by using Cheese, which is brilliant as you can send Cheese to attack as long as Cream is close to an robot. Cream can also use Cheese as a shield when she jumps. Creams disadvantages are mainly the fact that she can get hit easily. Cream is the best character to use when battling Eggman as she does not have to get to close to him by send Cheese to attack. Cream is on of the best characters in the game.
Probably the most popular character in the series is the one and only Miles"Tails" Prowler. As you all know Tails is known for his ability to fly. He may not be as fast as Cream when she flys but he has better control and can stay in the air longer. Tails have useful attacks using his tails and also his jumping moves. When he flys his tails can be used to attack enemies in the air. Tails has a good running speed a bit behind Knuckles and a little over Cream. Tails disadvantages are that he is very vunerable when in the air and can get hit very easily and since he cannot move that fast in the air he can get hit by traps easily.
Knuckles is the most powerful character in the game. He has an excellent running speed behind Sonic and has very useful abilities. His ability to glide over the platforms and to climb up walls can really help you in tight spots. He can jump high and can use his punches to get robots out of the way. Anything that is in front of Knuckles when he glides can be attacked. His disadvantage is that he is probably the hardest to control which can make it annoying to find the special rings and secret places.
I can't comment on Amy as I haven't unlocked her yet but she was a good character in Sonic Advance so I think that she will be better off in this one.
The bad thing about Sonic Advance 2 is that it is a little too challenging for its own taste. The seven special rings are a nightmare to find, and if you die you lose them all so you would have to go back and find them again. Also the same with Sonic Advance is that you can move so fast that you don't notice the traps on the ground or the empty spaces that plummet you to your death (the annoying Sky Cannon zone).
These are just minor though as you don't really notice them as you have nothing but just high speed and jumping fun with these four (remember I haven't unlocked Amy yet) amazing characters wuth their own set of unique moves!

Review for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team (GBA):
Decent attempt
I don't see the point. I love the other pokemon games (especially crystal) so when someone bought this for me I was eager to play it. It starts of great and is loads of fun and has the third best storyline in any game ever (behind 2 zelda games). But it gets repetitive and is very hard to understand. It feels like a cross between minish cap and kingdom hearts. And it almost works. The graphics are decent for the GBA and so are the sounds. I think it could have done with more Pokemon but this just gets thumbs up from me.30

CARS - too slow!
My son, Jake, found this game was a bit too easy (he's 10yrs old). The graphics were good but only featured races which got a bit boring, although there were different maps/levels. The races were either time trials or against other cars. He was disappointed that there are only 4 cars that he could choose to be. Overall he says it's OK for younger children but too easy and boring for his age group.32

Update???????
When i first came accross this game i had the sudden thought that it was just the old pokemon red given the ruby, saphire and emerald treatment, better graphics and sound and the odd change. But i was wrong there are so many more things to do, the additions of the new sevi islands are fantastic where after you defeat the elite four your able to start catching jhoto pokemon and the odd hoen, the new addition of a mini side quest before you can enter mewtwos lair fantastic. So for those of you who like me thought this wasa just red/blue/yellow tweaked then dont be fooled it is so much better and a must have for fans and new players alike.33

Only bought this game because it was going so cheap but was pleasantly surprised. The game sees you autograph hunting for your best bud Patrick star. Autograph hunting ain't that easy though as the superheroes have increasingly zany tasks to complete before they'll sign. Could be a little longer but overall a solid game.35

Great game that is a good lenth
This is great. It is so fun. i have had it a few months and has not completed it. You can get more than 130 pokemon and a few legandery pokemon. There are three pokemon to chose out of when you start (charmander, bulbasuar and squirtle). A long good fun game that it will take a while to get bored of. I recommend getting this and pokemon emraled for anybody who has a GBA,SP or DS.36
Review for Tetris Worlds (GBA):
Tetris Worlds has a number of clever variations on the basic game, plus the opportunity for head to head play with another Advance via a link cable.
The game is much enhanced by the incredible graphics in the background, which include undersea, fire and air based settings amongst others in beautiful detail, and by the quirky little cube like character who puts in regular appearances to approve or (in my case!) disapprove of your performance.
I must get more practice, and will enjoy every minute of it!

Review for Disney-Pixar's Monsters Inc (GBA):
The game itself is really good. The graphics are excellent, the figures large and detailed enough for my son to recognise clearly and enjoy. The map layouts are also readily understandable, even for young kids.
The game is clearly linked to the plot of the film and the in screen clips are very high quality and great fun. I must admit, I enjoyed helping him with some of the puzzles, but the music drove me mad (it can be switched off).
All in all, a good buy for younger kids, perhaps best for the 5-8years old age group.

i was very excited when my cousin gave it to me a couple of years ago, however i was extremely disapointed at the game overall because i loved the film. i still havent managed to get past level 2, the game dosent even follow the plot of the film and the graphics are poor. so simply leave the game in the warehoue and i dont recommend it!!40
Review for Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (GBA):
The whole game, including the battle system and navigation of the castle, is based on cards. This may seem complicated at first, but you will get to grips with it all eventually. The graphics are superb, some of the best I have seen for the GBA. Familiar characters will pop up throughout the game.
So, if you love Kingdom Hearts, I advise you play this game.

Easy, Flexible, Non-Irritating, Just About Perfect!
After a couple of years from the success from the Game Boy Advance, Nintendo released it's 2nd Edition Game Boy Advance: The Game Boy Advance SP (Apparently SP means Special), and, as far as I'm concerned! This is one of the best Game Boy Advance consoles around! What I mean is. Unlike the Game Boy Advance, the Game Boy Advance SP is flat, flexible and it doesn't irritate you like the original may have done!
The Game Boy Advance SP features some new bits and bobs which the Game Boy Advance didn't really have. It has a rechargeable battery fitted in, along with extra battery life, allowing users to play up to 20 hours, it has a back light, so if you have too much botheration, you can dim the bedroom light down and fiddle about with this for a period of time and loads more.
You can also, play Game Boy and Game Boy Color games as well as Game Boy Advance Games, and, you can also use the Game Boy Link Cables on your Game Boy Advance SP to connect to your old Game Boy Color and trade Pokemon or so!
A disadvantage I would say is that if you have big hands, you may have a problem, as since it's so compact in size, your fingers may get into contact and irritate you! You may also, have to pause your gaming after 1-2 hours, since this console will wear down your hand's strength!
My Console Rating: 8/10: Enjoyable, Fair-Play, Thumbs Up
My Recommended Games For Console: Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed, LeafGreen, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World, Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3, Sonic Advance, Sonic Advance 2, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, NES Classics: Super Mario Bros 1, Donkey Kong Country & Donkey Kong Country 2!
My Wish: Nintendo done some NES Classic Games for the Game Boy Advance system! One of which is Super Mario Bros 1 (NES Edition), however, they only did roughly 12 games! My wish would be that Nintendo would release a few loads more, like the NES Edition of Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario Bros 3, Double Dragon, The Flintstones: The Rescue Of Dino & Hoppy, Mario Bros, Kirby's Adventure & Duck Hunt!
Final Comments: Overall, if you're after a Game Boy Console which has everything you really need, with no fuss in between, then I recommend you get one of these consoles, cause they are worth the hassle and they are starting to become cheap, since the Nintendo DS is starting to roll around!
