I have been playing this so much over the last 3 days and just can't get enough of it.
All in all a fantastically addictive game...Buy it..!!!

Xbox 360 Wireless Bridge (Required For Wireless Online/Live Play)

Used Price: £49.99
New Price: £52.98

Review for Xbox 360 Wireless Bridge (Required For Wireless Online/Live Play):
Totally unreliable
Well, I would have to agree with pretty much all the previous reviews, the positive ones mention all the good points and the negative ones mention pretty much all the problems I've found.
On the plus side the adaptor is very easy to set up, and at times it works perfectly. Unfortunately the majority of the time it lags like mad and becomes totally unusable. There doesn't seem to be any reason why it switches between the two, making it extra frustrating. Overpriced to start with, it's just not worth the money.

Update: Here is something you might like to know. If you own a laptop with wireless internet you can actually use this to connect your xbox to the internet! Just set your laptop to allow shared connections and run an ethernet cable between the laptop and the xbox. I didn't realise you could do this but it works perfectly, no lag, no random crashes, it only ever goes wrong when there is a problem with my network! I can't believe microsoft are flogging this adaptor when all you need is the cable that comes with your xbox. I'm assuming if you have a wireless network most of you will have a wireless capable computer so for most of you this is £60 totally wasted!

Nintendo DS Lite Handheld Console (White)

Used Price: £79.99
New Price: £85.49

Review for Nintendo DS Lite Handheld Console (White):
Disappointing.
I got this handheld a while ago and eventually I couldn't use it. I went through 3 DS to fix the problem with it I had, and the problem was I had to press down really hard on the diagonals to make them respond. This wouldn't have been so bad, but it made my hand cramp up really badly. I persisted for a while with it thinking it may stop, but if anything it got worse.

When it comes to 2D games, then you won't have this problem, but for Mario 64 DS, and Metroid Hunters, it will just make your hand ache in agony.

I eventually sold my system with 3 games for £95. What was the point in keeping it when I couldn't use it?

Also the games are ridiculously over priced. They're like 30 quid a pop, and you can buy new console games for only a little more, or used console games for cheaper!

My Sims (DS)
This game is really good when you first get into it and brilliant mini games are included although there are some downfalls to it!

The bus is slow and the interaction between other sims is poor! It's not like the normal sims game at all. The mini games become boring after a while and once things are completed in certain parts of the town there's not much else to do.

Review for Wii Wheel (Official):
Way over priced
£13.99 - your having a laugh.

I just bought 4 of these from Argos at £6.99. Take note £6.99 is the rrp as seen on the official Nintendo website.

Game is the best yet and the wheel makes it much easier. Also the official wheel is better than the other brands. Top marks for the product - no marks for the price.

Review for Battlefield: Bad Company (Xbox 360):
Good Fun FPS ...For a short time....
I read the reviews and I watched the trailers and thought this one is the game to overtake COD4 on the MP charts and FPS game scene...until I played the demo that is...I was very disappointed, the lag is awful, yes the graphics are very good and the maps are much larger in scale than COD4, but the feel just doesnt do it. It felt more like Frontlines : Fuel of War only revamped into a better generation of graphics. The MP demo game was good I have to admit, if it wasnt for the respawn freaks sitting waiting on you respawning only to kill you again. The developers really have to deal with this issue as it will kill of the game altogether, COD4 does a good random job and thats why I am sticking with COD4. I will play Bad Company SP and have a few games of the MP just to test my thoughts, if I'm wrong then I will amend my review on here, if it doesnt then I will be flogging off my copy of Bad Co asap. Overall, and only in my opinion, is BC very close to beating COD4, but a couple of small issues remove a large portion of the enjoyment factor. I would recommend buying it to evalute and judge for yourself. Either way I hope you enjoy it!

Review for Xbox Live 12-Month Gold Membership Card (Xbox 360):
Xbox Live- Essential
Personally i always thought why buy an expensive Xbox 360 console if you're not going to purchase Xbox Live. I have a PS3 and can tell you that this is the best online service, you can message, private chat, video chat, recommend online content to friend and much much more. When playing a game on live its like unlocking the other half of that game and you really get you're £40 worth then. I would also recommend a microphone if you plan to game with friends.

Xbox live is a must have for you're 360!

Review for My Health Coach: Manage Your Weight with Free Pedometer (Nintendo DS):
Could be adjusted slightly for the UK market
The food choices in this game are really based on American culture more than British, for instance there is no"English Breakfast" in the breakfast options (or elsewhere) but there is pancakes for breakfast. This is not the only example. In general the food choices are rather more limited than desirable.

Apart from that its rather fun and I think it (so far) does motivate one.

Review for Cooking Mama 2: Dinner With Friends (Nintendo DS):
The Number 1 Cooking Game Just Got Better!
Hi, I got this for someone's birthday but we were expecting it to come out on the Nintendo Wii, we were a bit upset about that but when we got a chance to actually play the game we really enjoyed it.
Here are all the good features.

1. Lots more recipes.

2. Now you can also dress Cooking Mama and decorate your own kitchen in your favourite colour.

3. You can cook for people related to Cooking Mama or cook for Cooking Mama and watch them try your dish and see if they like it.

4. More realistic.
When you burn something or for example you don't hold the lid down on the blender you will get a try hard (this is when you are cooking for someone) and Cooking Mama will say: 'presenting' so and so and you will hear some bad tune and the medal you get, lets say a silver will have a dent at the back of it + you will see the blender with the lid off, a dull screen and the person looking rather upset.

5. When you have cooked something for Cooking Mama or someone else you can also record this in diaries + if you want to decorate the page in the diary you can, for example if you wanted Cooking Mama to look funny you could put snouts for her nose to make her look like a pig, this would go well when making pork or beef, etc.

6. Nice and easy to control by using the stylus.

Oh and now the bad things, here we go... NOTHING!
Overall I would say this is a fun game for 1 player but at 2 players or more you cannot cook recipes against each other but you can do different cooking activities which can get a bit boring.
Otherwise this is fun for all ages, would be really good for a present.
As the other reviewer said: 'probably one of or the best game on the Nintendo DS.'
I would recommend buying this game.

Review for Sid Meier's Civilization: Revolution (PS3):
Decent Effort
As a person who had never played Civilization before [my computers aren't good enough =(] I was pleased to hear that a game was coming out for the console. Though I can appreciate how limited it must seem to die-hard Civilization fans I think for someone who has never played the game before it is probably a decent introduction. The controls work quite well with a console and single player games can provide a good few hours entertainment depending on your style of play. Though the graphics aren't especially next-generation and even I was surprised at the inability to customise single-player games it can be fun to watch your nation develop in the way you want it to. So, whilst its not a top-notch game I think it's well worth a look-in, especially at this reduced price (or wait a bit till its gone down some more) or to rent for a weekend - and that's without talking about the multiplayer (which I've not yet experienced).

Review for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (PS3):
The greatest game you have ever bought!!!!
Yes thats right people, the greatest game you HAVE EVER BOUGHT!!!!!

However there are flaws to what ive written, firstly, if you are reading this then you probably havent actually bought it, secondly, everything i wrote was wrong.

Whether you see this as a decent game in its own right or just a blingin' demo, the gameplay is seriously flawed. No amount of graphical brilliance (and it does look brilliant) will hide that the lack of crash damage and physics is a huge problem. Now i dont want to have the car smashed to bits because i think it would look 'cool' but the whole game suffers from cars simply bouncing off each other. You or a computer driver can completely mistime your braking and simply hit another car, bouncing them of the track and you can stay on track. Its just so unrealistic.

As for features i have no complaints, after all this isnt a full game and also the graphics really are wonderful, but i wouldn't particularly recommend this just for the shoddy racing and isnt the racing what Gran Turismo is all about?

Review for Age of Conan (PC):
Superb game!
The graphics are among the best I've ever seen, for all game types! The music and sounds make you feel you're really there - in Hyboria, and the gameplay is really fun. I also like the fact that the quests are much more"alive". In WoW, you don't even bother reading the quests texts, but here you are taking part in the conversation with the NPCs. The combat system is innovative, although I expected something even more groundbreaking. It's Wow - but with a cool twist.

The downside: I had to buy a new graphics card to be able to play it, but then again, I needed a new one anyway ;)

If you're doubting if this is for you - find a friend who has the game, and play 7 days for free. I think you'll opt for getting your own copy after those 7 days!

When FUNCOM manages to remove the bugs, and integrate some of the missing features, this will be a total classic!

it's old time to move on
i got my first ps2 in 2003 becuse someone said its better than the xbox
so i took there advise and got a ps2 and after a year i was unhappy with it,so i went got an xbox which i should have got from the start.
i got far more out of the xbox then i ever did with my ps2
which i now only use as a dvd player
i,ve only ever liked about 11 games and afew others which i wanted to see how they differ from there xbox counterparts.
but its now 2008 time to let the outdated ps2 console retire.
which the xbox did before it became to old and stale
(very smart move,mirosoft).

Review for Football Manager 2008 (PC CD):
This is good, despite a few glitches
Ive played this game since the 1st champ manager way back in the day, and i must say even tho there are a few glitches, this version game is great! To all of u who are crying about how" hard the game is" dry your eyes! Playing in the Premier league in your 1st season is gonna be hard, so dont expect to win the league in yer 1st or 2nd season, cos it aint gonna happen unless yer really jammy!
It takes at least one season to get your team playing to your tactics and formation, look at what the assistant manager tells u about how the team are" gelling" ...u dont sign one just for training purposes u know!
I know there are a few glitches, always happens in FM games, try downloading the patch, they dont make them for nothing u know!
I know some scores can be madness, but just think when your team is trouncing someone 7-0, their manager must think the same as u !
30-50 yards, flukes.........happens in real life, just think Paul Robinson a couple of seasons back !
I know the newsflashes are kinda the same, i personally dont bother with them unless i have to!
I could write a book on how to play this game, its so easy until u get to the premier leagues but there again i know how to play against them teams, it just needs a bit of thought, thats all!
Im playing with one of the worst league teams in the game ... East Stirling, and i can get them promoted in one season, do it all the time and ive never used the editor, as i think that is cheating!
Oh yeah, for all u moaners, the developers have even included hints and tips whilst loading periods occur....read em.....thats why they are there!

If u moan at the slightest thing, dont come on here and moan....just dont play the game, for all of those who love the game......keep playing and good luck!
