Review for Remote Charging Stand (Wii):
The unit arrived on time as per all my purchases from good old Amazon, and well packaged. I had mixed feelings at first of giving this ago, as people reported that the controllers where / stopped working etc. This might be due to insisting that the consol is turned off to stand-by when not in use. However we have had this going for about 6 to 8 months without any issues, the batteries where easily installed they charged up through the USB socket at the rear of the Wii consol (but only when it is not in stand-by mode) which to be quiet honest is not an issue, as my kids and all their mates that come around have not had the batteries fail or be in a fully discharged state not enabling them to play on the consol. The unit matches the colour of the Wii consol and with the added benefit of allowing the hand units to be stored away neatly when not in use.
To sum it up over the last months of use we have not had any issues, it charges the hand sets with out any problems ensuring that they are fully operational for play time, batteries fitted without any problems, looks great and for the money you can't go wrong, five starts

Review for Big Brain Academy (Wii):
It is the same old thing over and over again,as previous comments have stated it all comes down to how quick you are, and unless you have speed on your side this game will reach a certain stage were you can go no further.

Pole Position !
What a game this is, superb graphics and great gameplay, when you win a race you really feel like you have earned it, you cant just barge the others into the armco and go on and win, they are more likely to try and do that to you as the AI is quite tough but this just adds to the experience. The variety of disciplines sets it apart also with touring cars, gt, drift, demolition derbies, single seaters etc etc and you can feel the difference between the different cars. This and PGR 4 have really pushed on the benchmark for the 360 and make Forza 2 look quite tame although to be fair that is a different type of game and is still exceptional, put simply if you want edge of your seat thrills and next gen graphics get grid or pgr 4 otherwise stick with the solid Forza 2. Thanks for reading and i hope this helps you make an informed decision.69

How did we live without?
I really wanted an X-box 360 for the football games but because we had to get a console my girlfriend could play we bought a Wii. I was not impressed with Fifa 2008 and couldn't see any hope for football on the Wii. Along came Pro Evo!! Everything about this game is fun, as a multiplayer it is great and if you've got the net you can play online. Champions Road has already took hours out of my life and will take more yet. The way you get players is a great system that leaves you wanting to build a worldclass team. The gameplay took a while to get used to but now i dont know why i've been wasting my time with other football games.Buy this game!!!

Review for Assassin's Creed (PS3):
But if you want to pay £40 for a game and have fun do not buy this game. Basically do the first mission and all of the other missions are the same after that. There is also the way that it takes about half an hour to get to the actual assassination and all of the dull investigation work to be done before that.
Some fun bits of the game are ruined by the boring repetitiveness of the whole game.

Review for Tetris DS (Nintendo DS):
I am talking about tetris, the game which almost made people tear out their eyes in '89, has come back to haunt them on DS. The content of the main game is virtually the same, except for some lovely graphical effects. You see, you still try to clear lines, but whilst you're doing this, you can see some cool 8-bit nintendo memorabilia. Link, Samus and of course Mario are all along for the ride.
And the main game got longer as well. With new modes and being able to get up to 999 lines, the action never stops. And Nintendo have added new modes as well, which all work well, and are a handy get-away from the original action. Push is the least addictive of the bunch, however it would have worked brilliantly in 2-player, what with you pushing a block onto your opponents screen. Mission gives a task for you to do,fairly easy I must say. Puzzle is great, and soon you'll be using your brain more than Dr Kawashima. Catch is annoying at first, but once you get your head around it, it can be a hidden gem. But the extra fun to be had is in touch, were you have to move existing blocks into lines.
Once you get this, you'll be screaming like you did in '89. You'll find a tactic, then the game will crush it, forcing you to go back to the drawing board. With original tetris to look forward to, and some time-consuming extras you'll love this game. Trust me.

Tetris... what more can i say
Blocks fall from the sky, and you must slot them into gaps. You make a chain of 99 lines, going for the killer 100 total, but lose concentration and end up failing at the final hurdle.I am talking about tetris, the game which almost made people tear out their eyes in '89, has come back to haunt them on DS. Review for Ninja Gaiden 2 (Xbox 360):
I simply love this game.
I just fell in love because it is truly challenging and does not let you pass, just because you got thumbs like the hulk.
so I preordered this game and haven't stopped playing since i recieved it.
i"ve read some reviews that imply that team ninja just wanted to make more money, so they turned down the difficulty to get access to a wider range of gamers.
I must say that I am not that unhappy about this.
I see gaming as a recreation activity and not as my main purpose in life, so I'd rather be seriously challanged than downright frustrated and find myself smashing my controler against the wall...
the graphics are not really state of the art, because team ninja merely recycled their once pretty innovative engine for the x360.
but this is surely made up by the extremely fast gameplay and it brings a somewhat stylised look into the game... I really like that.
once you got yourself into the spirit of the game, there is nothing more rewarding than slaying hordes of enemys with a stylish chain of combos without getting yourself reduced to tiny bits.
bottom line:
a great game, with a few weak spots.

Review for Lego: Indiana Jones (PC DVD):
Some great cut scenes, and a few 'changes' to the story to make things more interesting (Indy catching up with the truck in the first Raiders on a motorbike, for example, not a horse).
The first three films are all here and you will need to go back to each level to get every secret and treasure. Lots of replay value just like the Lego Star Wars games.
Indy fans will LOVE the music, adore the cut scenes and find great delight in getting reminded of the bits of the films they loved.
Don't expect anything other than a really good kids game and you will not be disappointed. Big kids will like it too!

Indiana - Surely Not Named After The Dog?
Excellent title, ideal for adults and kids, maybe too 'gentle' for the hardcore gamers. I ran this on two PCs, one with a 7600GS card and it ran well, but slowed down at some points, but it performed well on a 8600GT.Some great cut scenes, and a few 'changes' to the story to make things more interesting (Indy catching up with the truck in the first Raiders on a motorbike, for example, not a horse).

Good Fun - but can be annoying
I bought this game as I thought my eyes could do with some serious training. And havent been disappointed. I love the sport options which get unlocked the further you progress though the core games. I do feel though that the harder levels are unlocked quiter early on. The core games can be slightly annoying - especially if your tired, and also being asked to check your eye age everytime you go into game. It tells you to do it only 3 times a week. The guy on the top screen really does my head in, the graphics are really disappointing especially when you see the sports games. Overall a good game and good value for money.78

Review for Race Driver: GRID (PS3):
This is a great racing game, with a great selection of cars and challenges!
The concept of the main game mode is similar to Colin McRae Dirt, where you must embark upon a career allowing you to build you team, hire a team mate, choose sponsors, car brandings and win championships in the USA, Japan and Europe.
The Le Mans 24hrs is a highlight of the game as are the visuals.
The only let downs, is the fact that it leaves me hungry for more, I want more tracks to race on. Compaired to previous installments, Grid has lack of tracks, meaning that racing can feel repetitive. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty to choose from, but after doing 4 versions on Donnington PArk you will understand what I mean.
The Online mode is excellent, allowing you to race other players on the track, but like Dirt, the split screen mode is missing, there is nothing better than beating your friends and rubbing it in to them that you are better at it than them.
The game is a top racer and will keep you entertained for weeks, but with a few tweaks it could be so much better.

A Zelda fans game?
A strange game this. By game standards its great, but by Zelda standards it's not so brilliant. This is a really good game in some respects, the characters have a lot of life, good graphics, innovative controls (on the most part), and just something nice because it's differnt. There are some really cool moments and clever ideas that could only have been pulled off on the DS, and so top marks Nintendo for that. But although there are loads of good sides, it is not a perfect game by any means. Sometimes the touch control dosn't work that great because your hand gets in the way, and there are moments when it all seems a bit pointless. I think there should have been the option for a 'normal' control method.
Also the items... they really suck. If you have played many Zelda games before it's not much of a suprise when you get the bow, or the bombag for the millionth time. Would have been loads better if Nintendo were as original with the items as much as the other ideas.
You also find yourself in the Temple Of The Ocean King (a massive time limit based temple) way too often, in the end you dread going back to it and it really puts you off! This is supposed to be a fun game, not a chore!
And there isn't a huge amount off umph or depth too it (the handheld argument is stupid - Links Awakening had 10x the depth and that was monochrome!)
But if your new to Zelda or just cant get enough, then defiently give it a go, it's still good, just not great!
Also don't belive all the people who said they completed it in a day - no chance first run through!
