Room for Improvement

I bought this item to replace a similar Challenge trimmer that broke down after only 6 months. This was the only one with a collection device in the catalogue. The Challenge trimmer was better balanced, especially doing the sides and the collection device was much better(lighter and shorter) and because it dosn't curve away from the blade you're restricted to using only one side of the blade with it on. I intend to make a smaller one from a piece of 100mm PVC duct. Also, I would have liked to have had an inspection plate on the bottom to enable lubrication of the cam.
Plus points. The blades are the best and sharpest I've ever used so take care, first time users. You could take a bigger bite than you intend. Not as powerful as most other"2 footers". It dosn't need to be with blades this good. Well worth the extra money.

Flymo Favourite with Stripes On

Easy to use electric lawnmower with hand adjustable blade (no tools required) which cuts through the longest,toughest,wettest grass quite easily.It is easy to lift,with a handle suitably placed on top to allow easy carrying. The roller provides nice"lines" in the lawn for a more professional look. The grass box is large enough and can contain quite a lot of grass before emptying. If I have to be critical,the only problems I have encountered were the initial assembly of the grass box ( it was fiddly) and the electric cable was shorter than I expected. Apart from these two very minor glitches, its an excellent lawnmower for the price,and looks good too!

totally crap!!!!!!!!!

i had a mice problem like the rest of you in here and i heard about this brought it and didnt notice a different i called my pest control company in and they actuall informed me by using these u probably would see them more as its just makes them act crazy and leads them to spin aroun in circles he said to me this is only good as a prevention not a cure so if you already have mice in your property this is not for you

I too have a Labrador that has selective deafness when let out at night!
This compact torch seems expensive initially,but the quality of build,compactness,ease of use and best of all the light produced make it a"must have" for night time use.Perfect size for the coat pocket,handbag,glove compartment in the car! I can't praise it enough.

Good but.....

Lightweight-ish, well balanced, powerful, handy to use, but one problem...
battery only lasts for limited time and then takes a good while to recharge. For more than just a bit of lawn/edge-trimming or other small areas, it would really need 1 or even 2 spare batteries. Unless there is something wrong with the almost new one I have.

Poor in wet

Tried to use this before Xmas - keep the garden nice as frost hadn't set it. We have a high water table, it didn't work well - ended up leaving the job

Moon Light nite light

Despite protestations to the contrary this idea is not new. The first night light I had of this type was in the US in the sixties manufactured by Sylvania. I looked for years to find a similar type in the UK (110v obviously will not work in the UK) and I found the Moon Light some time ago.
Delighted to find them available again and despite the initial price the light is very soothing and will last a life time. It is one of the best electrical products I have purchased and would recommend it above any products with lamps in them. It fits flush to the wall and costs nearly nothing to run but illuminates well enough to allow someone to walk through the home without turning on all the main lights to see where you are going. (Assuming you have sufficient sockets). The kids like them in the bedroom. The only improvement would be if they made a violet one as the color is even more soothing. A++++ product.

A CAMPING MUST HAVE

I bought this super little heater to take camping...what a must have item. We didnt have any problems with shooting flames, although I believe what the last person did was perhaps pull the ring on the side to open the valve. This would shoot flames out. But I would advise anybody camping to buy this for those cold mornings. Excellent Same item in Argos priced £29.99.

German Efficiency - Only the design

What a disappointment! What at first appeared to be a rugged, well made and simple to set-up device just can't do the job. It failed to catch the edges, and what's more, the plastic-blade (on a reel) repeatedly kept getting warped or simply cut off! Not what I expect from Bosch - you can do a whole lot better.

Gain with no pain

What a great little gadget. It is lightweight, fun and really effective. As I got older I had progressed from two handled shears to one handed shears (which were much easier) but found that I was getting blisters when edging the lawn in my small garden. I find strimmers much too noisy and fierce so this Bosch tool was the next step and I am very pleased that I made the purchase. I don't have any problem with bending at the waist so am very happy just to have the hand held version without the telescopic handle.

I didn't purchase the shrub trimmer as I mostly have climbers and bedding plants but would certainly do so if my garden design changed.

Originally intended to buy a mouse killer but reviews suggested that the rat killer would be more effective.Bought one a few weeks ago from Amazon and have found it 100%! effective.Baited it with peanut butter and in 10 nights have had 10 successes.Also found that rechargeable batteries were suitable(at least for mice).
