My cats love this fountain and certainly drink plenty. The water is fresh all week, but I have to make sure its not near a window, as it goes quite green inside. The only down side is the cleaning, its quite hard to clean all parts of it and the water looks quite cloudy by the end of the week. I would recomend this fountain to anyone, but keep it out of sunlight!

Kent Collection Greenhouse

This plastic greenhouse seems good, and is as I expected after asking the seller several questions. As the listing makes clear, it is clear plastic and not the green meshed plastic in the picture. This seems slightly less strong than the green meshed plastic greenhouse we've had in the past, but one advantage to this could be that we won't suffer anymore the plastic between the meshing becoming fragile in the sun over time and then beginning to fall out. Time alone will tell - likewise, time alone will tell whether it'll stand up to the winds we sometimes have in the UK. One small criticism is that the guy ropes are not as long as they could be, nor are they adjustable as they were on our previous greenhouse. This is the only reason for 4 stars and not 5.

Difficult to fault

It's strange, all the things we consider unimportant. After all, isn't a torch a torch?

This one is so simple yet so robust and functional. Very tough and turned on/off and focused by rotating the lens end of the unit. The batteries last well due to the small yet bright-for- the-size bulb (spare included in end cap). In addition to focusing, the torch features a 'candle mode': unscrew the lens end completely, turn it glass downwards and insert the base of the torch into it -- and the exposed bulb gives a small but reasonable general lighting effect. Probably also quite good for candle-lit suppers in a mobile home/caravan, not that I've ever tried it.

Bearing in mind that this is a rather small torch working on two small batteries (i.e. not a floodlight), it is a reliable friend whose simple yet impressive functionality is elegance itself. If you're looking for something small to keep on your person, or stow in a car or caravan, or indeed use as a small inspection torch thanks to the adjustable focus, you'll be delighted. It's a pleasure to use, and it's surprising that there's so much good to find in a mere little torch.

Disappointed with specification

Bought this top of the range unit, expecting great things, I got the results I wanted, but, the unit amazon supply is not the same as the specification reads. It had a 2.8 kw motor and supplies only 450 litres of water/hour. Therefore its not that much more powerful than the K6.85, which is £65.00 cheaper!
Despite this, it does great things, very powerful,convenient to use, especially the tidy away high pressure hose reel,Can be in use in next to no time.Would have given it 5 stars, if it had the full water flow and power.

Not fit for purpose

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. Arrived without any discernable instructions and with pieces missing. Then the plastic bar adjusters snapped for no apparent reason. I guess you get what you pay for, but with the potential risks involved with this dodgy piece of equipment I am surprised companies deem it safe to sell. Avoid at all costs.

These work!

I've used these bands in the tropics and the Scottish Highlands and they do a good job. Bugs normally feast on me but they stayed away when I was wearing these. They may not be quite as effective as the typical DEET-based sprays, but they are effective for several days, and without the mess (& possible adverse side effects) of sprays. They also smell reasonably pleasant so you won't deter the 2-legged specimens. I use my wit and repartée for that!

We all hate mowing the lawn and not wanting a petrol mower the only alternative is electric with the hassle of cables and worrying about cutting the lawn when it's damp - which lets face it happens most of the time in a UK summer.

I've been keeping an eye on cordless mowers over the past few years and up until now they've always seemed to be a bit of a gimmick that take heavy, car-battery sized batteries that don't last all that long. Now with Li-Ion battery technology all that has changed. Thankfully.

My lawn is rough! A mixture of grass and is far from level. Having now used this mower for a couple of cuts - both with medium to long grass I can say it is a absolute joy to use. It's light, easy to handle and powerful enough to get through longish damp grass, and no cables!!! It cuts better than my previous 2 Flymo electric mowers and is quicker to use as it's so light.

My only ctricism is that it's difficult to tell how full the grass box is, and grass tends to go everywhere if you are emptying it when too full. But it's really a minor thing as it's no hassle to just empty it more often.

Some reviews I have read of the 43cm model criticise the grass box that is flimsy as it comes in 3 parts. This model has a grass box that comes in 2 parts - the box itself and a lid - which is much better and I had no problems assembling it and it doesn't feel too flimsy to me.

I agree that some parts do feel a little bit flimsy although this is the same with almost any product you buy these days. However overall it is of typical Bosch construction and feels like it is built to last reasonably well.

The battery does everything it says it does and so far I can only describe it as superb! Take Bosch's advice though - and consider the model you need for the size of lawn(s) you need to cut.

Sure, it's expensive. However, having bought 2 cheaper electic mowers in the past 4 years, one of which broke down after 18 months and both of which I found a pain to use I think the extra expense is worth it to make mowing my lawn less of a chore.

cool as it comes

For the size of it, you would not believe just how much air this thing pumps out. Quite amazing. It does run on aaa's, no aa's, which i was a bit annoyed at (My own fault, i didnt read the advert correctly).

This really does keep you cool, and with the adjustable postitions, its perfect for sitting next to a computer with etc.

I would say this thing is not suitable for kids, as even with the safety blades, it stings a fair amount if you touch them in motion, it really is that powerful.

But for the money, I couldnt find better. top quality

Talio Solar Rock Fountain

The solar fountain is excellent value for money; it was less than half the recommended retail price when I bought it through Amazon. It arrived only 2 days after I placed the order.

The fountain works very well and with the recent sunny weather, the water has reached at least the 400mm mentioned in the instructions. This solar fountain is a lot better than the previous one I had because it works even if the sunshine is hazy or partially obscured by clouds.

The floating rock design looks good in the pond even when the fountain is not operating. I am very impressed!
