Great for girly gardening

I must admit I am a bit of a princess when it comes to mud & stuff, but this kit has forced me to brave it and sort out my garden. The range of tools is good and they are fairly hardwearing. If you are doing any serious hard work you will need something a bit more specific than this, but this is a great all-rounder and a really useful gift.

The kit comprises of: pink basket with removable handle to keep everything organised, heavy-weight gloves for dealing with thorny hedges & plants, light-weight gloves which are great for keeping you clean and splinter-free, ball of string for training plants, handheld size fork, handheld size trowel, kneeling mat perfect for resting your knees and keeping your clothes clean, pruning shears for cutting back small branches and stems, pink daisy seeds, plant labels, seed planter for easy & accurate planting, and hand cream for a well-deserved treat after all your hard work.

A Godsend

This is going to make such a difference to me be able to once again do some gardening, as I have MS I have been severely restricted in leg movement.The kneeler is substantial and very capable of holding my weight.
Why has it taken me so long to but one.

The Bahco Laplander saw is one of those tools that I'd recommend as useful to anyone! I use mine around the garden for pruning and light lopping, for rough cutting in DIY and also out and about as a real godsend whilst collecting firewood. An axe is the traditional tool to take wilderness camping, but this pruning saw will arguably make things even easier. In extreme emergencies it could even save your life. I've seen Ray Mears use this very saw, and for good reason - it's high quality, light, easily stowable, sharp and safe to use. Beware of inferior Far Eastern look-alikes, this is the best. Highly recommended for gardeners and explorers alike.

good sprayer with adjustable spray pattern

I bought this to spray my loft limbers with a micro emulsion pesticide and fungicide which was water based.
It proved to be very very effective and much easier to use than an electric sprayer.
The top is funnel shaped allowing for easy filling and the large handle doubles as the pump which is quite large so it's easy to pressurise.
It also comes with a shoulder strap to enable you to walk around with it easily.
The pressure vessel is very robust and should last many years.
All in all a very good sprayer which performs as good as my dads `other' make one that cost over twice as much.
