Ridiculously overpriced, but nice and simple

Not being a fan of your regular garlic crushers (fiddly to clean), I've used a garlic card for a year or so now. Thankfully, it was a present, so I never saw the price - otherwise I'd not have got one. That said, it's a genius idea. Simple to use, simple to clean. Getting my fingers a little messy doesn't bother me in the slightest - you're cooking for crying out loud! Mess happens. The only problem can be getting the entire clove's flesh pulped, as things get a bit slippy once you're half way through one. That said, it's no worse than the waste I've had with garlic presses.

Overall, though, I'm still not sure I'd recommend buying one - certainly not if you're paying delivery too! However, if you've got a credit card that's about to run out... you might just have found a new use for it.

Stick with press

I purchased the Garlic Card, but was very disappointed with it's performance. There were no tips on how to use; the card literally turns the garlic to a very fine puree, which is virtually liquid, and very difficult to then get off of the card and in to wherever you want it.
It also leaves your fingers stinking of garlic, as you need to hold the clove while you press it against the card, as it turns into this fine puree/liquid (it's too fiddly to do with kitchen gloves on). I wouldn't recommend this, and will be staying with my press, or kitchen knife.

rubbish

Do not buy this. The removable part of the press collapses under ordinary pressure and makes it almost useless. Do not waste your money on this product!!
