Ideal for Flash Guns and Cameras
I use these for high power flash guns, portable DAB radio, digitial recording devices and anything that requires batteries to be virtually new for the equipment to work at it's best. The 'life' of the battery is not as good as a top one off the shelf but the re-charge speed is fast (an hour max) and the economics speak for itself. The only down-sides are the charger is pretty bulky if travelling, slower to charge on lower voltage through an adaptor(that is to be expected)and when not used they discharge quicker than normal. Have a few spare sets available to always keep going otherwise there is the hour wait.3

OK as backup
First thing that struck me about this battery was its weight - the original lumix battery weighs 24 grams this one weighs 16 grams: fits perfectly, seems to work fine, after 15 minutes continuous video recording the batt indicator on my DMC-TZ5 had gone down one bar, two thirds the weight - lasts about two thirds the time of the original, for the price a good backup battery.5

I actually didn't need to use it on that occasion, but I have since and I can assure anyone who's wondering that it is just as good as the original battery packs Canon provides (and sells as replacements for £20). The battery achieves a full charge from empty in about 2 hours, and then lasts just as long as my original Canon (for me this is usually a matter of weeks, but obviously it depends on your usage so may be a longer or shorter length of time).
Overall I am very impressed with this as a back up, especially when one considers the difference in price between this and the 'genuine' Canon products.

Better than expected!
I bought one of these as an emergency back up for my Canon Ixus 70 before going to Glastonbury this year, thinking that worst case scenario I would get enough battery life to take a few pictures if the original battery gave up on me after a few days.I actually didn't need to use it on that occasion, but I have since and I can assure anyone who's wondering that it is just as good as the original battery packs Canon provides (and sells as replacements for £20). In fact I've only had to change batteries on one occasion and by that time I'd had enough anyway! I think they are rated to give around 800 shots.

Don't hold a charge
The other reviewer loved these, so I may have a faulty batch, but left in a device they lose charge within a few days. I've replaced them with soem other rechargeables and will be returning these.Disappointed!

My testing used AF just to increase the drain, handled with consummate ease. Recharge cycle in sport mode is excellent and will allow shooting up to the max frames per second spec of the body
Hooked to the mains charges to full in under an hour approx same time as my original. Capacity easy enough to match the originals shooting capacity in RAW mode. I have now recharged sufficently to note there are no"memory" or"dry out" effects in extended use. This is a durable as well as effective solution.
For what I was going to spend on spare batteries, I am now going to save the difference by buying these and use this towards the supplemental battery grip.
Yep folks it's safe to proceed, this one is no lemon.

Brilliant battery
This rechargable battery is brilliant. It last for hours, I took my camera on holiday and only had to charge the battery once a day after taking photos all day long. If you use your camera less then you may only have to charge the battery every other day on holiday. I'd recommend buying this battery because it will save you a lot of money in the long run & of course using rechargable batteries is better for the environment. One tip though - if you buy two batteries & carry the spare one, if you get too snap happy and the battery runs out you'll always have a back up.20

A superb choice!
I purchased these for use with my Wii. They charged very quickly and last an age between charges thanks to the the 2650mAh. There's also the typical robust build quality as you would expect from Duracell.If you have any gaming remote, digital camera, or any other product that requires AA batteries, these will serve you very well and repay you many times over compared to buying disposable batteries.
PS. For anyone buying a Wii, these are a far cheaper option than any of the docking stands if you already have a battery charger.
