Review for Nintendo Wii Nunchuk Controller add-on (Wii):
1.The control stick has a special feature:you can move it a little bit and it does the action a little bit, like a steering wheel!
2.The upper button is called"c" and the lower button is called"z" so if you see c and z mentioned in reviews you`ll know what they`re talking about. Don`t get them the wrong way round!
3.It fits in your hand perfectly-no need to worry about it being uncomfortable.
4.Don`t put the control stick in your mouth (if you do it goes all yellow).
5.The cord length is fine(almost the armspan of a quite tall 9-year-old).
So overall the nunchuk wins 5 stars for its special control stick feature; fitting into your hand nicely; and its cord length, and only has 1 bad point which is being just plain white and even this is hardly a"bad" point because you never look at the nunchuk when you`re playing and even this can be fixed by buying a skincase for it.

Review for Nintendo Wii Nunchuk Controller add-on (Wii):
needed for some games. Some notes about nunchuks
A nunckuk is a simple atachment to the Wii remote that gives you extra control over a game.So far 4 out of 6 of my games need it.If it has a nunchuk icon in the top-right corner of the box it needs it for all or part of the game. You get one free with the console, but you can get another for multiplayer. Here are some notes:1.The control stick has a special feature:you can move it a little bit and it does the action a little bit, like a steering wheel!

This wii wheel works perfectly on racing games.
Unlike other wii wheels this actually feels like you are driving and also it lets you point at the screen without having to take the wii remote out and put it in again.
Bad points:
The strap on the controller is is a bit fiddly but personally i just took it of which doesnt take much hassle.

Review for LittleBigPlanet (PS3):
The game is very cute and caters for different markets. Stephen Fry's witty narration is guaranteed to amuse, and even the opening credits are vaguely entertaining.
Sackboy himself is very cute, and if you have dualshock sixaxis controllers, he is entirely at your mercy, as you can move his hands, body, and head by tilting the controller, as well as altering his facial emotions with the arrow buttons. The controls are easy to master, and if you like platform games (all you Mario/Lemmings/Sonic fans etc out there) then this is a great little game with lots of hidden things to find and various challenges to complete and overcome. The prebuilt levels are there to help you to understand the game in general, and to introduce ideas you could put to good use when you build your own level.
Buildling your own levels is great!!! For anyone who always dreamed of being a game designer - here's your starting point! Have a little fiddle and see if it's what you imagined! Then there's the item creation etc - Sims modding fans - you will be in your element! I haven't quite completed all the story mode levels yet - heads up - you will need two players to collect ALL content - so I know I can still get more bits and pieces for making my own levels, but I'm having great fun with what I already have, and I'm really no artist.
In honesty, I haven't had the chance to play online yet as the internet at my house is tempremental, but I look forward to doing that too and checking out other people's creations!
A truly amazing product, well worth the money (shop around - it's £25 at the moment!), and a good buy for fans of The Sims 2 and Sonic, Mario, Lemmings, and all those other seminal 80s-90s games =o)

I got a PS3 just so I could play this game and I wasn't disappointed!!!
I love LBP!!! I saw a clip about it on a gadget show and started watching youtube clips etc and reading about it. Pretty soon I knew I just had to have it - small problem though - no PS3. So for Christmas I got the PS3 with LBP, and believe me, it was totally worth it!The game is very cute and caters for different markets. Review for Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party - Balance Board Compatible (Wii):
Why configure the wii board after every game?
The game on the whole isn't bad and the graphics / music are good fun. On the down side, unlike the Wii fit games Rayman Raving Rabbids requires the same player to reconfigure the balance board before every game / challenge. This takes the edge off of what would otherwise be a fun game and is a shame.6

Review for Nintendo Wii Controller (Wii):
I would welcome a reduction in the price by nintendo to make the additional wiimotes more accessible for more people. Your looking at the best part of £150 to get 3 more wiimotes and nunchucks required for 4 player mode. I have got 4 and it really does make play more fun and allow more people to join in.

Essential to get the most out of your wii but far too expensive
You only get one wiimote in the standard kit wii console and while this is a fantastic controller hence why I have given it 5 stars for fun I think it is over priced as unlike other consoles there is no 'after market' 3rd part alternatives that are cheaper.I would welcome a reduction in the price by nintendo to make the additional wiimotes more accessible for more people. Review for Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Wii):
Sonic and Mario At The Olympic games is a prime example of a title that can appeal to all from the very young to the very old, from novices to veteran gamers.
A wide range of olympic events are available in the game and they all have intuitive, easy to pick up controls that won't alienate those unaccustomed to the machine. Better yet, the more you play, the more extra events and modes become unlocked to allow a great deal of replay value.
A wide range of characters from the titular heroes' respective universes are available for your gaming pleasure, though your Mii characters can be used just as easily in most game modes.
With the festive period looming ever closer this may be a far more interactive and enjoyable alternative to Trivial Pursuit!

Great fun for the whole family!
One of the lovely things about the Nintendo Wii is that its innovative controls and family friendly catalogue of games have helped to lift gaming out of the niche group of predominantly young men and made it more accessible to non-gamers.Sonic and Mario At The Olympic games is a prime example of a title that can appeal to all from the very young to the very old, from novices to veteran gamers.

Review for Shaun White Snowboarding Road Trip -Wii Fit Compatible (Wii):
So far to date we've seen some pretty good early indications that the Balance Board certainly holds potential with games such as the fairly decent We Ski, Jillian Micheal's Fitness Ultimatum & then there have been other games which use the board for party games such as Raving Rabbids TV Party.
To be fair though, I have been waiting for a title which has developed from the ground up using the balance board as a primary controller as opposed to the secondary controller which a few developers have done, which kind of leaves you feeling like they worked on the Balance Board controls during the last phase of the game.
Thankfully then I can proudly testify that Shaun White Snowboarding Road Trip falls firmly into the former category & has a really in dept Balance Board control scheme which feels very well thought out & extremely well implemented. Honestly the Balance Board controls gives you such a feeling of accomplishment after learning a new trick by using the correct technique (e.g: the correct direction to learn in conjunction with the control buttons to press to perform a"Monkey Twist" ect)
The games overall layout feels very slick & really well thought out. The basic premise of the game is that you are a newbie Snow Boarder joining a group of travelers on a snow boarding road trip (as the title suggests)
You start off playing with the first available character (who I believe was"Jasmine" although I can't really remember now as I'm 30% through the game!) in the first of four resorts gradually working your way through each one as you pass all of the various events available in each resort.
At first there is only one boarder available to you, but as you progress you'll unlock new ones who each have their own stats and special skill. It is here in which the key lies to successfully completing the game, as you play more & more through the game you will learn which boarder is best suited to which event.
Naturally some skill is involved in playing the game with the balance board, but thankfully the developers having designed the control so well that it all feels so natural. Lay the board sideways just like the real thing & then lean forward to speed up, back to slow down, side to side makes you turn left or right & coming up from a crouch makes you jump, whilst pressing the buttons in conjunction with leaning in various direction during air time perform fancy tricks & flips. Nothing could be simpler.
I've always been a massive fan of snowboarding & Ubisoft appear to have created a gem of a game with Shaun Whites Snowboarding, which given how perfectly the Balance Board controls works... guarantees it will stay in my collection as long as I still have my Wii (or at least until a sequel comes out! Lol)
The only thing I can fault this game on is the fact that you are force to play the game using Regular Foot (meaning standing on the board left foot forward) without the option to switch to Goofy Foot (right foot foward) which is the way I feel most comfortable with.
Still this is only a minor gripe as does not really take anything away from a pretty perfect game.
I would say this is the perfect Xmas game for any one with a Balance Board and into snowboarding games.

Best Balance Board Compatible Game To Date!
Ever since Nintendo unveiled it's Balance Board peripheral which would ship Wii Fit starting with Japan in December 2007, there has been much talk about the big N'S new innovative controller & the opportunities it would present developers to create some seriously impressive titles utilizing it if put to good use.So far to date we've seen some pretty good early indications that the Balance Board certainly holds potential with games such as the fairly decent We Ski, Jillian Micheal's Fitness Ultimatum & then there have been other games which use the board for party games such as Raving Rabbids TV Party.

Review for Call of Duty: World at War (Xbox 360):
For those that have not played Call of Duty 4: This game is graphically superb, and the audio is top notch, the guns have a rich pounding noise.
The story, allbeit short, is a decent chop and change of two stories in WW2 which offers decent replay value.
The game mechanics however are the same as CoD4:MW and the whole style does feel copied, this did anger me to start with but it is a very difficult formula to improve on. Some good improvements are listed:
Flamethrower
Co-op mode up to 4 players
nazi zombie unlockable game (very addictive)

Review for Football Manager 2009 (PC):
My main problem with the game is the Steam programme you have to install with the game. I didn't want steam, and I don't want it on my PC, but you have to have it to play the game. I just want a game you can put in the PC, install and play - no hassles. Steam is quite complicated and I feel it adds an unnecessary element to the game. It actually really bugs me when you have to register games, give email addresses and have an account with some random organisation just to play a game.
So overall, FM2009 is everything I wanted, but why all the annoying add on's SIgames ?

Good game with complex install
I got FM2009 for Christmas and its a great game. Its got a lot of depth and features and you can really get your teeth into it - everything from the press conferences to mind games with other managers and player interaction. In fact for those who've grown up with Champ Manager and such like this is a great game. I've been playing it a great deal since I got it. Ther 3D TV view graphics aren't amazing but in terms of the game itself I'd give it a 9/10.My main problem with the game is the Steam programme you have to install with the game. Review for Nintendo Wii Console (Includes Wii Sports):
Having the good fortune to have a semi-geek in the house, the Wii thing was soon set up in the kid's bedroom, and after 5 hours I thought I should check on the adult kid and the little kid - just in case.
Santa had sadistically included an extra controller and nunchuk with the package, so added to the pair that comes with the set, a full scale 2 kid war was in progress, covering bragging rights for five included games - boxing (little kid leading), bowling (big kid ahead), baseball (no clear advantage - but then we don't play baseball here, because it's just not cricket), tennis (neither will see Wimbledon) and golf (Tiger's safe for now)
They had set up a Mii (avatar) for each member of the family (self included), and looking at the body shape they chose for me, I immediately remembered that I should make a New Year resolution to lose weight.
Soon enough a challenge was issued, and hours later I emerged as the household bowling champion, but threatening to sue for physical abuse for my boxing loss. (I think they made it personal)
All these games have an aerobic and physical element, and if you don't get yer lazy azz in gear, nothing much happens. Bowling for instance, requires you to swing the controller like you would a bowling ball (making sure that you secure it around your wrist first so you don't put a hole in your TV), and after hours of unaccustomed exercise, your muscles can really feel the burn. And it's not only your arm muscles. One does not bowl without the correct body language after all.
Oh the pain!!
Now they're looking at all the other doo-dads and wing-dings to further their Wii experience, and making strong birthday and father's day hints. IMHO they should drop off their requests to the fat man in the red suit, and get HIM to come over and play some games.
Off to review some Icy Hot and Radian B, and make a massage appointment.

Oh, my achin' agin' anteriors!!
Santa dropped this off at our house the other day, and I'm pretty sure he had a smile on his ruddy face when he did it."I'll teach those bleedin' couch potatoes", he said with a laugh."Ho Ho Ho", and off the old jelly belly flew, with his sleigh full of Wii related accoutrements for sedentary families around the world.Having the good fortune to have a semi-geek in the house, the Wii thing was soon set up in the kid's bedroom, and after 5 hours I thought I should check on the adult kid and the little kid - just in case.

Review for FIFA 09 (Xbox 360):
So... I came to the Fifa 09, praying it was better than 07 ( which was horrendous) and more enjoyable than 08.
Verdict? Oh yes, Fifa are definitely back.
The game is fantastic from the moment I picked it up. From just exhibition, I could see the player movement and responsiveness has definitely had the tweak its been needing for so long. They turn better and the passes are fired off better. Personally, having played PES 09 as well, this outclasses it by leagues, the movement on PES still robotic and jerky, and they all run in exactly the same way.
We were told about new player physiques and they have stuck to it. Tackles are more rough now, with bigger players shoving and hustling their way round and it gives a sense of the real game, especially the huge amount of fun of sending small wing backs tumbling. Jumping in the air for the ball is also like this, with the taller and well built players more likely to get it.
Be a pro is where it really shines through. It was a little bit iffy in 08 but here in 09, well, its ridiculous. Its more fun, it takes more skill, and it responds better. The online ten on ten thing is great... if you play with a well organised group. Its already been said, but if you play with a bunch of mates you all want to have the ball the whole time trying score Maradonna goals, things are bound to get a little hectic. Online play is great with very little lag time (learn from this Konami) and its enjoyable rather than jaw clenchingly frustrating ( still talking to you Konami).
Overall, its hard to find any fault with this game, although maybe you can say that the refs are more rigid than a stick. It very, very difficult to get proper decisions go your way, but hey, hopefully Fifa'll sort that out next year.
So, I suppose 2009 goes to Fifa for a phenomenal game.

Just want to start off by saying that I'm not a fanboy of either franchise or something ridiculous like that. More Brain traing is probably more suited to adults. Its better than the first one and its still fun even if you are a kid but really its better if your 8 or above. For children I would recomend Big Brain academy instead. Also adults will like that. I do like this game though because it has a big veriaty of activities and is very clear.16

Although somewhat tedious for"grown-up" gamers (if such a thing exists) it's great for younger kids, as it's really intuitive, and all the family can get involved too, in a party-style atmosphere.I'd recommend this for ages 4+ for great family gaming.

Review for Motorstorm: Pacific Rift (PS3):
I don't really like rally games i prefer football games and strategy games, but i played this for 20mins and i haven't put Pro 09 or Fifa 09 back in my PS3, it is so addictive and is quality.
The game play is so real, even when going through water the screen covers up from the backspalsh which even i was impressed with. the fact that there is 16 cars in a race is daunting at first, you might think, i will never get used to this. but you do sooo quickly, having 16cars is just more cars you can ram to make them crash and also the boost is unlimited after about 10seconds of the race starting so any time you need a little boost you can have it!
People might say the car breaks easy in the races, but lets face it, if your in a rally car going 60mph and you head on hit a rock you going to get damaged, and this game reflects it, my advice is to drive Recklessly Carefull! (Its a double negative but you will know what i mean when you play it)
9/10 IM HOOKED ON IT! MUST BUY!

Review for Professor Layton and The Curious Village (Nintendo DS):
I was given this gave for christmas as completed yesterday (new years day) For the week I was completely addicted!
There are loads of puzzles that all vary from quite easy and obvious to quite rock solid hard!
The range of puzzles are amazing, and I was often passing my console around the room to my family so they could have a go at the taxing ones.
The game is easy to navigate, have great interesting characters and a fun background story.
The only bad thing is that I have now finished the game and my mum has nabbed it to complete herself!
I cannot recommend this game enough!!

MUST BUY FOR THE PS3!!
It's a great must have item to have. The vibration is very strong and responsive, and brings games alive! (like Call of Duty etc) makes the game much more immersive.20
Review for HDMI Cable (PS3):
On a final note - I originally wrongly posted seller feedback as negative due to the quality of the cable - I since removed this as the seller transaction was perfect - fast delivery - and any negative feedback I had was related to the product.

Review for HDMI Cable (PS3):
Works ok depending on requirements
I purchased this cable for 13p plus postage and packing so it is a great deal. The cable basically works fine but I ended up not using it due to occasional ghosting that was cured by using a more expensive cable (around £60). I think my issue was the fact I was routing the cable via a Yamaha Amplifier. It would likely have worked just fine with a direct connection, but when you are using expensive additional equipment like an Amplifier, then I think this is where the additional cost of a more expensive cable is justified. I rarely write reviews but felt this was worthwhile feedback as I am always personally very curious as to why you would pay more for a cable. I cannot guarantee that the cable was really the thing at fault as I did not do extensive testing / isolation. All I know is that using the more expensive cable my picture quality has greatly improved with my set-up. Hope this helps. On a final note - I originally wrongly posted seller feedback as negative due to the quality of the cable - I since removed this as the seller transaction was perfect - fast delivery - and any negative feedback I had was related to the product.

Mario Can't!!!!
Having played this game since Christmas I have to say it is the worst game ever written for the Wii!! The wheel is simply a waste of time (after you have struggled removing the controller jacket to put it on),you might as well just hold the controller in your hand. That brings me to the awful unresponsive gameplay. The Karts drift all over and you get no feeling of being in control. All in all a complete waste of money.
