Sharp GX15 - Vodafone - Pay As You Go Mobile Phone

New Price: £44.25

Review for Sharp GX15 - Vodafone - Pay As You Go Mobile Phone:
Excellent Phone, Plenty Of Bang For Your Bucks!!!
I would highly recommend the GX15. This phone has gone along the lines of the Sony Ericsson range, but in my opinion a lot cheaper without any loss in product quality. You can record video, take photos, compose ringtones, transfer data via Infrared and Bluetooth, and of course WAP internet access. That’s not even mentioning the Java games. I hardly looked at the manual as the menu is easy to navigate. This is a very stylish, light, feature packed, and well priced mobile to suit most peoples needs. If you don’t have a lot to spend, but need features, this is the one for you.

There’s only one downside, it’s more of a gripe really! Sharp have supplied a CD-ROM with software for the phone, but if your computer doesn’t have Infrared or Bluetooth, you’ll need to invest in a USB data cable as one’s not supplied.

Motorola C975 - Threepay - Pay As You Go Mobile Phone - With £30 of Credit (expires 60 days after activation; service limitations may apply)

New Price: £24.99

Review for Motorola C975 - Threepay - Pay As You Go Mobile Phone - With £30 of Credit (expires 60 days after activation; service limitations may apply):
Cheap and feature packed
After reading reports about the battery life I wondered what to expect, though for £29.99 I wasn't expecting much... How wrong I was!

The phone has a camera and video camera and the 3 services mean you can watch football highlights and music videos!

Plus with this phone I'm being paid to answer calls! Yes the battery life does mean a daily charge but for the price I don't believe it can be beat!

Panasonic GD87 - Orange - Just Talk

New Price: £55.00

Review for Panasonic GD87 - Orange - Just Talk:
A very good phone in my opinion
I think the other guy's phone must have been faulty. I never had any trouble with my Panasonic GD87 and NEVER switched off and then on again when writing a text, maybe he pressed the wrong buttons.

The camera is GREAT, the resolution of the screen is GREAT, the two screens are GREAT, the ringtone composer is GREAT. All in all it's a worthwhile phone to have.

I thoroughly recommend you purchase one, unless you can find some reason not to.

Samsung M110"Solid" Pay-as-you-Go - Pre-pay SIM included - SIM Locked Mobile Phone - Black (UK Model)

Used Price: £60.00
New Price: £65.00

Review for Samsung M110"Solid" Pay-as-you-Go - Pre-pay SIM included - SIM Locked Mobile Phone - Black (UK Model):
Basic behind the rubber !
I bought this phone for work after my expensive 'posh' phone was broken after it got trapped in the runners of the passenger seat in the car!
I got mine on comebuyme for £50. The Samsung M110 'Solid' is like a G shock watch phone. (why havent G shock made a phone? It would really sell if they hooked up with one of the big phone companies.)

The samsung M110 'solid' gets 5 stars for its rugged appearance and for its obvious hardy rubber and plastic casing but it fails as a phone. It is essentially a 3 year old samsung phone complete with blocky low resolution screen (about 1.5" square.) VGA camera (I didnt know that they still made these?) very poor T9 predictive text. and the most annoying phone lock in the world.(locks when it likes and when you go to turn the lock off (unlock~star like most phones.only when you press the unlock button it tells you that its locked and you then have to wait two seconds to try again!! grr)
However, the most disappointing aspect for me is that the phone is just not intuitive like a nokia or a sony erricson or even a modern Samsung. Its a case of ten key pushes when one would do, sending a text is not the rapid fire, one thumb action we are now used to, making a call is more long winded than it needs to be accompanied by a very samsung 'dooo be doo be do' as it goes about the job in hand. If you 'need' a rubber phone for work (It is perfect for being covered in cement and plaster and building site detritus.) or if you are not to be trusted with anything sharper than crayons, then this is the phone for you.
I just think that Samsung are trying to flog what is obviously very old technology (just think what new phones in the last 12 months come with as standard now. 3G,5 mp cameras, internet on tap, touch screen technology, video, voice recognition, etc etc.) phones are just too advanced for us to be satisfied with this first generation technology in a rubber skin.

As soon as my 'posh' phone is repaired or replaced then the samsung is going on Ebay.(or maybe Amazon?!) My advice is, if you must have the samsung solid, 1~Dont pay more than £50 for it. 2~Dont expect anything more than the phone you had 3 years ago. The concept is great and why it hasnt been done properly before now I just dont know (there is obviously a market for it.)

Nokia 7250i - Orange - Fixed Rate

Used Price: £39.99

Review for Nokia 7250i - Orange - Fixed Rate:
A good all rounder with some nice little extra functions.
The mobile is quite stylish but still a bit on the large side (compared with the phones coming out these days). The phone itself is really easy to use, you barely need the manual at all. All of the menus are very self explanitary, but there is an even more detailed online manual avaliable at the Nokia website if you need to fall back on it. You can easy download and print this out if you wantit (the phone does come with a slightly briefer manual).

The colour screen is impressive, with all of the icons in the menus being in full colour with their own little animations to go with them. There is a photo facility that offers an impressive 352x288 pixels per photo, with a zoom fuction and night mode. The night mode isn't really very good as you sill need some light and there is no flash or anything. All round, the photo capability is a bit of fun, but don't expect it to be of great quality. One nice function is that you can take a photo of your mates so when they call you on your mobile, their picture appears on the screen. Handy when you can't remember peoples names!!!

You can download stuff like ringtones, wallpapers and games from the net or a CD if you get yourself a USB data cable. These are all as good as each other, so I'd recommend that you just shoot onto the net and buy one from an online auction or indeed Amazon! With the cable, you can also convert you pics from your phone over to the computer, enabling you to store pics from all your nights out!!!!

There is a handy hands free option for those drivers amongst us. This is simple and easy to operate, just follow the instructions. No probelms there!

The games on the phone are a bit jerky and slow, but what do you expect from a phone? There's loads of storage space on the phone for pics, texts etc, and you can even use it to email people!!!!!

I'd say it's a really handy, easy to use phone with loads of extra functions to keep you happy. It's not over complicated and comes with a very reasonable price tag. A good all rounder.

Sony Ericsson T630 - T-Mobile - Pay and Go

Used Price: £29.99

Review for Sony Ericsson T630 - T-Mobile - Pay and Go:
Positively Delicious!
This is my first phone and it is amazing. It is a definite improvement on the older T610, the screen is brighter and much better quality. The camera is excellent, and the software on the phone such as Music DJ is great and you can create catchy tunes in minutes! It includes many finger-numbing (in a good way!) games such as Mini-Golf and V-Rally and the handy ability to record sound and phonecalls at the touch of a button is very useful. Another great function is you can view the people in your phonebook as you can take photos, so when you get a call or text their picture flashes up on the screen meaning you instantly know who it is. The menu is simple to browse, texting is easy and it works like a dream. This is an excellent phone, great value for money and I love it! Buy it!

Sony Ericsson T630 - Virgin - Pay As you Go

Used Price: £29.99

Review for Sony Ericsson T630 - Virgin - Pay As you Go:
Great phone, got looks and functionality!!
I normally do intense research for my gagdets. I am rarely disappointed. This phone was no different. I cancelled my order twice thinking i had found a better phone. This is a superb peice of kit. It takes 480 by 640 photos, doesn't record video. Records audio has bluetooth and IR. A bright screen thats"clever" i might add, turns the backlight on and off when required. Not only that but the black version, which this is is fabolous looking. Got friend with one and she loves it. I bought this to communicate with my sony PDA via IR, works great. If you can't afford one of the"better" phones and want features galore, i highly recommend this one.

No us us have any problems with this model. I find it easy to use and love haveing a different tune for every member of my phone book.

Sony Ericsson T630 - O2 - Pay As You Go Mobile Phone

Used Price: £29.99

Review for Sony Ericsson T630 - O2 - Pay As You Go Mobile Phone:
Sam
I don't like the feel of this phone. It feels cheap, bad plastics, not robust enough, and the keys are so close together that I find myself hitting the wrong key time and time again when trying to text. The joystick is awful and very hard to use accurately. I can see it breaking off very easily. The screen however is good, great colours and easy to see in sunlight. The software seems acceptable enough and it is good that you can see who your text message is from, before you decide to open it. I originally bought this phone sim-free as I wanted a bluetooth phone for the car. I wish I had gone for the Motorola V600. I do not see this Sony T630 as being an adult phone - I believe it is more for the teenage market. All in all, I am going back to my year old Samsung which is a delight to use, even though it does not have bluetooth. The Samsung's metal casing is robust - hardly a scratch on it after all this time - and the signal strength is far superior to that of the Sony T630. I will be selling my Sony sim-free and buying the Motorola V600 at the earliest opportunity.

Sony Ericsson T300 with camera - Orange - Just Talk Prepay

Used Price: £19.99

Review for Sony Ericsson T300 with camera - Orange - Just Talk Prepay:
Bargin Fone - Not The Greatest Spec Though
Like I sed in the title : Bargin Fone - Not The Greatest Spec Though.
the fone is amazing, and considering the age of the design, revolutionary. It was the first bargin colour screen phone. The polyphonic ringtones sound great, a bit quite tho.
My only major niggles with the fone are that the screen is quite poor resoloution and the phone has the habit of freezing up when too manyt buttons are pressed at once.
