Fast easy pruning and safe to use

I am usualy wary of wacky looking garden equipment and prefer conventional tools. However this uniquie product really impressed me with its ease of use and fast clean cutting ability. Most of all it feels really safe to use - unlike most chainsaws which often cause the user to break out in a sweat or worry about chopping a limb off.

The Alligator jaws clamp around the branch and then only when you have pressed the 2 safety switches (one on each handle) the saw quickly cuts through branhces up to 4 inches. I found the cut was actualy cleaner if you used less pressure on the handles. Having 2 switches means the blade will only work when your hands are away from the dangerous parts and if you drop it or lose grip it will stop instantly.

Although the Alligator weighs about 4kg it is well balanced and does not feel heavy. If you dont have the stamina for prolonged sawing or want a fast easy job this is the tool for you.

The Pink Garden Kit

Well, THIS IS THE KIT for gardeners, because its pink. Also as it has stainless steel pink handle it is easy to clean! I also enjoyed how light each object is to man handle because of the nylon bound covers.

Waste of time

This is a pointless waste of time. To use it takes more effort than not using it. Place it on the ground, lower yourself on to it and then try to reach something 6" beyond your range. Either you stand up move the device and go through the whole process again, or do as I did, shuffle off the device onto the ground and never come back to it. It is just too difficult to use to be any help. After cluttering the shed for years it recently went to the great re-cycling bin in the sky.

Waste of money

Be careful....

Home assembly is difficult and quite frankly....awful, no, lets be honest here, its bloody awful! the hose drum connection point leaks everywhere and the spray 'gun' is ineffective and a total joke!

It's not worth my time and yet more money to return this pile of junk, and I've just put it down to painful experience.

Rapitest Damp Test Meter

Good litle meter for testing damp. Ideal for personal use, probably not robust enough for builders. We are going to buy a second one for our property business.

Rediculously useful!

I got one of these just a few months ago, but it has allready had its share of ware and tear... Luckily however you don`t notice it because it`s such a tuff little thing. My blade remained razor sharp ever since I got it, and it has needed no maintainence. Even though it only has a few attachments, you can improvise and make up for it. That seving needle thingy on the back can be used as a: fish scaler, shallow-cut knife, punch, chissle, needle and alot more! Also note that the hook is handy for getting you`r pound out of a trolly if you don`t want to return it, as it acts like the little mettal slat you feed into the opposite end. I couldn`t have been more satisfyed!

Handy Torch For General Use

I bought one of these along with its bigger brother the 2D Torch. It comes nowhere the larger version in performance but it's not meant to. If you need a torch to attach to your keys or bag then this torch is for you. Ideal for close work and is very durable, it even comes with a battery and keyring attachment!
I would prefer a switch on the body rather than the twist action on the lens. Otherwise it is hard to fault. You may find you'll be so impressed with the quality you will want the bigger torch for the house!

Satisfactory QUality

I bought this item from amazon last week, but just received the package recently due to Royal mail online system failure.

Anyway, the package is neat and tidy with amazon logo printed on both sides. The box of this tool is absolutely handy and foldable by itself. It is ideal for carrying around in your rucksack or handbag. The thing is, material it was made from looks and makes me feel sturdy. All in all, recommended item for handy set of screwdrivers, especially perfect for using with eye-glasses (like ME ^.^) Hope you like item too. Cheers ....

I've never laid hands on the tools, but my mother was pretty effusive about her birthday present. I almost felt bad because they were so cheap. They must be worth it!

Learn From My Mistake

Black and Decker Scorpion Saw.
I'm now two years into a complete restoration of my house and I invested in one of these saws at the start of proceedings. To be frank, I used it three times, discovered it was pointless, and have not used it since! Other tools do the same job a great deal better.

The flaws are these: The blade is rather too short and not particularly effective, and the motor is underpowered. Everything I tackled with it took a long, long time to cut through. You'd think it would zip right through materials but oh no! And the geometry of the handle means that control is imprecise too - when you do achieve the cut it wont be as straight as it could have been.

My personal experience is that a good modern full length hand saw cuts two to three times faster than this gadget! For instance, Jack make some excellent saws with razor sharp teeth that sell for around £7 so you save money too. Look on any building site and that's what the pro's use for speed and accuracy, not a Scorpion saw! That's why your local builders merchant has boxes full of them. Team your hand saw with a reasonable electric circular saw (available at Amazon and at least four times more powerful than the Scorpion!) and you'll have all the kit you need to make easy work of both small section timber and longer cuts in sheet materials. Lastly, if you need to cut out holes within sheet, buy a Jig Saw with a blade guide and preferably a pendulum action.

Learn from my mistake and invest your own money more wisely.

Please don't sell these anymore Amazon. Don't buy these traps - the mice can take days to die - they just get stuck on the trap and die of lack of food and water.
