Good but missing a few things

The Vitorinox 1360300 Spartan would be the perfect trekking companion if it had a blade lock on at least its largets 2inch blade.

Besides this, it is a great well rounded tool. Complete with 2 screw drivers for good measure.

Blades are very springy when new, so take care when handling at all times, incase the blade closes shut on your fingers.

Rather imprecise

My first impression was that the blow-moulded case was trash. One of the two clasps won't latch. So much for precision! As for the torque wrench itself, it's difficult to determine whether or not it's set to the correct torque. This is because the"0" mark on the adjusting handle doesn't align well with the 10, 20, 30, etc. NM marks on the shaft. Thus, it's hard to know whether the wrench is set on, e.g., 20 or 30 NM. Don't even think about trying to use this wrench to set inch lbs as it's set up to work best in NM. I called Draper's technical help line to request clarification and was told that the procedure for setting torque is so simple it's self-explanatory! Needless to say, the multi-lingual manual doesn't explain the procedure at all well. In a nutshell,"0" has to coincide with the line on the handle which runs diagonally between, e.g., 20 and 30 NM for the"0" to reflect"20". Clear?

High quality screwdriver set for all applications

Having wasted loads of money on previous screwdrivers which wear out easily, this set is money well spent.

As expected from a make like Draper, the screwdriver tips are chrome vanadium and magnetised so will unscrew screws with ease and without damaging the head. Being magnetic means you can offer / extract screws without them falling into some obscure unreachable crevice! The handles are rubber for maximum grip and colour coded with corresponding info and symbols on sides and top to aid easy identification of correct size/type.

There are screwdrivers of all sizes, including a precision set as well as a magnetic telescopic pickup tool, electric mains tester and flexible twisting driver for getting to those awkward screws/bolts at tight angles!

All conveniently supplied in a blow moulded case means you can use and then store away your set without losing items or misplacing them.

Great value, especially at this price.

Difficult to fault

It's strange, all the things we consider unimportant. After all, isn't a torch a torch?

This one is so simple yet so robust and functional. Very tough and turned on/off and focused by rotating the lens end of the unit. The batteries last well due to the small yet bright-for- the-size bulb (spare included in end cap). In addition to focusing, the torch features a 'candle mode': unscrew the lens end completely, turn it glass downwards and insert the base of the torch into it -- and the exposed bulb gives a small but reasonable general lighting effect. Probably also quite good for candle-lit suppers in a mobile home/caravan, not that I've ever tried it.

Bearing in mind that this is a rather small torch working on two small batteries (i.e. not a floodlight), it is a reliable friend whose simple yet impressive functionality is elegance itself. If you're looking for something small to keep on your person, or stow in a car or caravan, or indeed use as a small inspection torch thanks to the adjustable focus, you'll be delighted. It's a pleasure to use, and it's surprising that there's so much good to find in a mere little torch.

As tradesman this is an essential tool of my trade. This item is very good quality and built for durability and at this price a bargain.

Do not buy this pump!

I bought this believing it was a good quality pump. After about 5 minutes use, the pipe separated from the pump body. The engineering is crap - what they've done is used a metal to plastic screw attachment, presumably to cut cost. By the way, I've looked around and found the Draper and Clark versions are identical.
