ON UNPACKING IT THE BLACK END WHERE THE CABLE GOES IN WAS FOUND TO BE BROKEN, DUE TO THE PACKAGE NOT STANDING END LOADS. i NOW HAVE THE JOB OF RETURNING IT TO AMAZON AND I GO ON HOLIDAY THIS WEEKEND. IF I LEAVE IT TOO LATE I HIT THE 30 DAY HEADLINE AND THEN WHO DO I DEAL WITH?
I FEEL LIKE CHUCKING IT AWAY AND GOING TO A SHOP WHICH MAY BE BEST.
IT REALLY WOULD BE SO NICE TO CALL AMAZON, SPEAK TO A REAL HUMAN WHO WOULD REPLACE IT STRAIGHT AWAY, TAKING THE FAULTY ONE AWAY. THIS WOULD REALLY MAKE IT WORTHWHILE. TOO MUCH TO HOPE FOR.

Makes gardening easier !

After realising that I'd not trimmed the hedge in my back garden for about 3 years, I figured I'd better get it sorted. Shopped around a bit for a hedge cutter and eventually settled on the Bosch.
What a good choice.
From taking it out of it's box, to sweeping up the trimmings once I'd finished cutting took less than an hour - and this hedge is about 10m long.
It's very light which makes it easier to use.
The blades are pretty long which gives you a better reach if you have a tall or deep hedge.
The power cord is a decent length. I only needed to break out the extention cable as I neared the end of the garden.
It's able to tackle some pretty thick branches as well.
All in all, this is a great hedge cutter and at a very reasonable price.
Highly recommend.

Easy hedge cutting

This is a fantastic hedge cutter - well worth the extra money over the less powerful ones! The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is it could do with a longer blade. There is a longer blade model available & I wish I had gone with that. This slices through even the toughest parts of my horrendous hawthorn hedge. It is light enough for me to use too. My previous hedge cutter was the Bosch cordless - unless you have a small hedge - stay well clear. Battery only lasts long enough for about 10-15mins effective cutting. Once its power drops it becomes almost useless.

This is a fantastic tool - I highly recommend it.
