Nice (if slightly pointless) object

This has a very nice feel to it (proper frosted glass, not plastic, and a satisfyingly chunky lid). The glow is orangey, so it's no good for reading etc. but would be really nice to just give some general lighting when outside in the evening at the end of a summer's day, or in a conservatory/garden room, or just on a patio.

Best Travel Iron by far

I am replacing my old voyager, due to rough handling, (bit of the back has chipped off when it fell n the floor, still works tho.) This great value little iron works just as well as my regular iron. I think its a snip at less than a tenner!

My hand held Hunter

First of all I wish to say how speedily it arrived. I got it within 24 hours of ordering from Amazon. It works fine, and has excellent suction. Although it is lower power than a full size vac, the small size of it makes the suction more concentrated therefore it is stronger. You have to be careful not to put it too near anything that moves, like a newspaper, or the pages get lifted. The only nuisance is that the dust filter needs to be emptied and cleaned every use. On the other hand, it only gets full so quickly because it picks up so much dirt. It's easy enough to empty, but a messy nuisance job, and therefore I will only use it for things I cannot do with my full-size vac. However, I am pleased to have it in the cupboard for those occasions. For the price it is a good buy, and a useful tool to have.....when it's needed. Great to have the power cord (very long)and three pin plug, and not having to worry about keeping it charged. It's neat and small and the cord wraps around it into a tidy little parcel to tuck away.

Reasonable & Silent

This fan completely satisfied me. Easy, silent, reasonable. Although its height is lower than I expected, I can recommend it to everyone for this summer!

PDG = Pretty Damn Good

I bought this product after reading the reviews and I can attest to what has already been written. There is not much that I can add other than to say that I am satisfied and the Vax has the ability to embarrass its owner

4 stars because the foot operated release is too clunky and the plastic snap noise it makes suggests that something has broken.

Does the job

Had this about one month to replace an upright Dyson that was just too bulky. Does the job though I would agree with others that it needs emptying every time you use it. Otherwise, great!

Great Value for Money

This was bought as a replacement for my Dyson DC04 which had seen better days.

It has a larger motor than the Dyson and is much lighter to use. The suction is excellent and copes with the mess from my two mastiff dogs with ease. It comes with tools included (although I found the Turbo tool a bit of a gimmic).

Only disadvantages are you have to connect the hose every time you need to use it instead of having it ready installed (as with the DC04), but this is very easy to do. Also the hose is not really long enough, but for the grand total of £39.99 delivered to my door, I cannot help but be pleased.

One in the eye for Dyson

When it came to buying a vacuum cleaner for our new house I was so tempted to buy a dyson, despite my Mum's having had the wand replaced several times in the few years she's had it I was almost seduced by style over substance (ring any bells ipod owners?!). Anyway suffice to say I made the right choice with Henry, he's coped with all sorts of nasty jobs with the greatest of ease. Summary of good points below:

1. Amazing suction
2. Long hose
3. Long retractable power cable
4. Takes ages for the bag to get full
5. Sucked up a load of sharp screws which did no damage to the bag at all
6. Half the price of a dyson

Honestly can't think of any bad points, except the fact I can't believe I'm actually reviewing a vacuum cleaner..... taxi!

Do Not Buy

Do not buy this as it simply does not work. I followed the instructions to the letter and on three uses found my utility room full of steam with water all over the floor. I have now returned to the trusted method of feeding the hose out through the back door.

12 volt adapter not included as stated

I loved the idea of this and ordered one from Amazon. However be aware that this one DOES NOT include the 12 volt universal adapter as advertised. I contacted Amazon after taking delivery and credit to them they apologized for the missing piece but told me they couldn't replace item as they were out of stock so offered full refund. I've had to order elsewhere now.

If searching elsewhere, you'll soon find out some state they include this bit whilst others state that it's just the pink one that does. So be aware and research product carefully before buying.

I've contacted Solio and am waiting to here back from them.

DYSON DC22 A new bouncing baby from Dyson

Just got it today,
VERY EASY TO USE.

VERY LIGHT WEIGHT its around 5 kilograms but you dont need to hold on to it.
Beautiful design of machine and package, (whom ever packs them must be a mensa genius, you will see why when you buy one).
VERY SMALL dyson design, very cute, and space saving too.
VERY USEFUL and tiny you could carry it in your school/college/kit/gym-bag.
VERY HARD...
VERY QUIET, unbelievably compared to the old models.
Comes with a good range of attachments.
MADE IN MALAYSIA.
It needs VERY LITTLE STORAGE SPACE when not in use.
So there is no need to hide it in a cupboard it really is a work of art, you could put it on DISPLAY AS A SCULPTURE.

Only gripes and they are very minor.
It heats up a lot which is a very nice feature (its something to do with the laws of energy).
And no ON!!! switch on the handle, Mr Dyson if you read this wifi the power button WIFI IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And finally.
I just cant wait for the next installment from Dyson. But for now I'm off to do some Dysoning and put this BABY to the real test a teenager like bedroom eek!!!!!!!!

I would not recomend this product

I would not recomend this hoover, although it looks really cute from picture, it is not very strong and it broke within a couple of days. It doesn't make much of a noise so my son soon got bored of this. We have since replaced this hoover with an ELC Supervac which is brilliant.

Really useful tool for your Dyson.......

I have to disagree with the review below....mainly because the most effective way to use this tool is sometimes with and sometimes without the brush on the end.

Ok, it's not the one magic tool that will change the world, but I wouldn't be without it for vacuuming the car, and getting under and into awkward spaces. 5 stars.

Having used it for a few weeks now, I would definitely recommend it to anyone deciding whether to buy one.
