Still better than the alternatives!

I bought one of these a few years ago when previous cheap alternatives had broken in more than one place! I've been really pleased with it and have used it most weeks over the past few years. The top corners are also really useful for hangers.

Last week I finally decided to buy an extra one to cope with extra washing in the household. As with so many things it is not quite as well made as the one I bought a few years ago - but still clearly a lot better than anything else we have seen of a similar nature! So as long as we don't actually sit on it I'm optimistic that it will also last for many years!

Cheap and easy to use!

Light, easy to assemble (just 3 screws), easy to fill and empty the water tanks, easy to use. For the price I think it's excellent.

Excellent value!

This is a great little fan, a perfect entry level model, ideal for the home and really helps in the bedroom on those hot muggy nights. It's easy to assemble so you'll have it running in minutes. There are two speed settings, high and low and at £10.99 it was a true bargain - which you won't regret.

Great product, excellent service

Prompt delivery - the sweeper arrived the next day - and excellent sevice. The sweeper is ultra light and easy to use - ideal for the kitchen floor!

Top notch

I bought this vacuum on the strength of the review above and a couple of others I found on other webpages. I am very sceptical of reviews, especially effusive ones, and am very hard to please but I have to join in singing the praises of this little beauty.

I opted for the 2200W version and it's powerful and effective on carpets and laminate flooring. It's also light, easily manoeuverable and has all the bits and pieces you'd expect on any vacuum. The difference with this one is that it's obviously been designed by people who actually use a vacuum cleaner.

The telescopic handle is genius and means you don't have to stop cleaning to remove lengths of cumbersome hose and all the other little nozzles tuck away tidily under a flap. There's even a clip to store the hose neatly when not in use so it's not falling about all over the place, something that's never featured on any other pull-along vacuum I've ever known.

All in all, a top vacuum and a reasonable price.

A filter that you can recycle

Obviously if you have a Dyson cleaner then you know that the filters are of a good quality, easy to fit etc. What I particularly like about these is that you can wash them - so although you still change them on a regular basis these two filters will last you for 12 months+ which beats having to throw away a perfectly good filter just because it's a bit dirty!

wonderful iron can't praise it highly enough. You only have to iron one side of school polo shirts and I have even been ironing bedding, not something I've done since I before I had kids, lol

A Very Nice Little Iron!!

Not only is this iron very very pretty, but it works really well too! I am pleased with it. I have had it for about 7 months now and I have had no problems with it. It heats up really quickly and makes a"click" sound to indicate it's ready, which I can hear from the next room. It also makes the same sound even when it's unplugged I can only assume to indicate it has cooled down enought to put away. It holds a lot of water and doesn't need refilling for ages, weeks, and I always use it on a hot setting every day! It feels lightweight and glides easily. The only issue I would say is that when I have ironed a couple of garments on the hot setting some residue of the fabric has stuck onto the iron plate and transfered onto the next garment, but to be honest I think that's my fault for using a setting too hot for the fabric! A very nice little iron!! :)

This vacuum has replaced a Dyson. Not dissappointed. Very powerful suction. Not as heavy as I was expecting after reading some reviews. Not as noisy either! Overall a very good buy for the money.

I liked it so much I bought two!

I now have one for home and one for work. It is light weight and robust.

What more do you need?!

No replacement parts available

While this worked it actually did quite a good job, even though it was VERY noisy.
The belt failed after 3 months and DirtDevil in the UK (also known as Pulse Home Products Ltd on 0870 873 0081) are not able to supply a replacement. There advice is to return it to the supplier and get my money back.
None of the other online parts suppliers are able to provide a belt either (as they do not recognize the model number).
My advice has to be to avoid this vacuum cleaner and save yourself time and money!

wow, quite simply an amazing pice of kit!

I had an older Dyson (DC04) but after using this it makes it look like I never cleaned the floor!! We have 2 cats and with the older model you could see the hair come up and all looked well. This one just tops it in every way, the carpet looks brand new, the air smells cleaner due the the alergy filter and to top it all off it's not a bad looking piece of kit! (well for a hoover anyway)

last choice

this thing throws dust back out all over the place; it's ok for picking up small stones and crumbs, but any dust it collects is blasted out the side air vents!

Very Handy

I got this to try an experiment, it worked, on those very hot days camping it will run off a power pack for about 4 hours on full keeping the car nice and cool for the dogs, have now ordered another couple for the living room and kitchen, nice neat and compact and cooling

Portable washing machine review

Good points: Seems to wash well though tends to tangle; small enough to store in a cupboard; light weight and cheap price.
Bad points: Not sure about electrics-have seen lid safety switch steaming; poor quality filling and emptying hoses.
