The best, most wonderful MP3 player in the world
Generally, Apple products cost a little more than most other computer products, but this is all due to quality. The iPod is definitely the best MP3 player on today's market, and one of the best things is that you can have it in many different designs which you don't often find in others. The iPod mini can hold around 1000 songs which is really more than anyone could ever need unless they are a music finatic, in which case you can buy the regular iPod which can hold much more. Also, the good thing about any iPod is that it holds so many songs, unlike most other competitors which hold usually a quater, maybe half as much as the iPod. Ultimately, the iPod mini is ideal for just about everyone who needs their music on the go as it is pocket sized and the software that comes with it is the most simple program ever to organize, transfer, download and play music. ok so at first i thought my iPod was brilliant, it had all I wanted; the software was easy to use and it was easy to download from iTunes. It is a nic eplayer, its unbelievably huge downfall is the battery life. Ive had m,ine for a few months and already it keeps switching itself off telling me there no battery when i know full well there is battery life remaining. Like i said, its a lovely player its just the battery life that makes me hate it.90

dont get me wrong ipods are great, the sofwares amazing. its the battery that lets them down.
as there not replacable you have to get a new ipod. this userally happens just after the garuntee has run out. cleaver apple.
Zen micro is just as good if not better. the sofewares hard to navigate but the device itself is beyond compare. plus changable batterys

what apple doesnt tell you is that the battrey is lithium, which has a self life of a year. watch dog did a piece on it and it was very insightful.dont get me wrong ipods are great, the sofwares amazing. its the battery that lets them down.

Spent a fortune, got a mega let down
I saved hard to be able to buy my son his greatest, desired wish on which to store his beloved music - Apple iPod 20GB. Within 12 months and 1 week he could only charge its battery, the"click wheel" clicks alright, but resulting in no music playback!!! We were told yesterday in the Apple Store, Bath that it would cost £200 at least to mend, so much for their high profile boast of recyling their goods!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NOT IMPRESSED BY MY FIRST AQUISITION FROM THE MIGHTY APPLE ORGANISATION.

When i saw the apple ipod mini in PINK i thought i had to have one, so i got some money together infact a lot of money together and bought one at first i thourght it was soooooo cool it was pink and could store loads of tunes, but after a while i reilized that it was a totaly rip off. I mean its quite big and im nerver gona need all that memory so basically i spend aroulnd 200 quid on a mp3 player with loads of memory im never gonna use when i could have spent 50 quid on a farly decent mp3 player with the rite amount of memory. IF UR RICH THEN BUY THIS ITEM, BUT IF ITS AN EFFORT TO GET THE MONEY TOGETHER THEN GO FOR THE OTHER OPTION. i hope this review has helped.100

best portable music device...ever
Stores just about enough of my music - most of my favourites, easy to use, very nice to look at, pretty compact and feels quite solid. battery life is fine - think i get at least 10-12 hours usually (having to buy a mains charger separately is a bit strange though). itunes software very easy to use and manages my music collection well. very fast to transfer songs too.I think a lot of the people on here complaining about the battery life must have the first version of the mini - it was improved in the 2nd version!

Everything you'll ever need!
I have had many other Apple products like iPod Nano's, iPod Shuffle and even the iPod Video. This 80GB Nano looks exactly the same as the iPod Video but this slightly thicker in width.It can do all the usual stuff like play music, videos etc. And play plenty of it too! 20,000 songs or 20 hours of video! WOW!!!
I am a Graphic Designer so I use Apple Macs for my work, and I often need to download files from one computer to another. Not many people mention this but the iPod Nano is also a hard drive where you can drag and drop files so instead of buying an external hard drive why not use the iPod.
The 80GB is massive! When you consider that an average MacBook Laptop is around 60GB!
Although the iPod states 80GB of memory it never is - 75GB would be a better estimate, this is due to preloaded software on the iPod.
Wouldn't it be great if iPods had built-in cameras and had bluetooth capabilities where people could share data??? If someone from Apple is reading this then perhapes you would like to mention this to Steve.
