Superfast delivery, item well packed, works fine. Makes life easier for shuffle users who don't always have access to a pc - like when going on holiday! Would recommend.

Nice case with a few minor niggles

As the name suggests, this is a leather case from Belkin made specifically for the iPod Touch. Measuring 7cm wide, 11.5cm in height and a little over 1.5cm in depth, the folio opens to the left, allowing you to simply slide the iPod in and the folio holds it securely whilst still allowing access to the front controls. You can also get to the power button, as well as the headphone and USB ports on the bottom, although you might have to move your iPod around slightly to get them to line up properly. However the light sensor is covered by the top part of the folio, so you can't use the iPod's ability to lighten and darken the screen as the ambient light changes. It seems like a simple job to make a hole in the case to allow the sensor to work, if this is an issue for you.

As another reviewer mentioned, what the pictures don't show you is the velcro fastener on the side, which is attached at the front of the case and seals on the back. Whilst it is nice to have a fastener to help keep the case closed and your iPod safe, it does ruin the form factor somewhat and also stops the case from sitting flat; a small inconvenience perhaps. Allowing access to the iPod ports, even when the folio is closed, means that the top and bottom of the iPod is exposed at all times, so don't think of this as an all-weather protector, more of a way of keeping your gadget baby safe from knocks.

With the folio you also get a plastic screen protector that sticks over the iPod screen, although I have found this to be largely unnecessary as the folio is soft-lined and this does a pretty good job of protecting the screen. You don't get a belt clip and unfortunately the case is a little too thick to fit into the holder I got with my 3rd-gen iPod, although removing the front flap might help. In all other respects it looks like it might fit, so if you have the same idea Belkin's leather sleeve looks like it might be a better choice, just don't quote me on that.

So, apart from the lack of a belt clip and the annoying velcro fastener, this is a good and sturdy way of holding your iPod. A few minor tweaks and this would be arguably the best iPod case around - something for a version 2, perhaps?

Better than expected

I took a bit of a risk in buying these speakers, thinking that if you buy cheap you get cheap. Having got them and used them i found i was wrong and it was a risk worth taking. They look good, they are cheap and the sound is excellent, they will not only fill a large room but are perfect for blasting out your best summer songs in the garden. Great value!

Fantastic and unbeatable value for money

Why some people choose to dismiss this player or moan about it's lack of features is beyond me! It's simply brilliant! I use mine purely for the gym, so where else could you expect to get 250 tunes on an mp3 player which is lightweight can clip on your pocket and not even know it's there and not have to worry about breaking it? I used to take my 30gig ipod with me to the gym and after it falling off the equipment so many times and bearing in mind it usually fell onto something made of cast metal, not ideal really when you have a screen to break! So the fact that it doesn't have a screen is a bonus for me cos it's less to worry about and why are you ever likely to want more than 100 let alone 250 tunes on it when you can simply change them anytime you like on itunes. I just load them on press play finish my session at the gym turn it off and next time I turn it on it starts where I left off and you can choose the order you want them to play in itunes or press the shuffle feature if you fancy a random playlist for a change. As for those who question the sound quality, well I load less tunes on mine but at 320kbps which is cd quality and mine sounds superb, so if you are going to put tunes on it which are 128kbps or less you can only expect some deteriation in sound quality! Yes the headphones aren't exactly B&O but I don't really need to listen to 5.1 surround sound when i'm at the gym so for me they are more than adequate. I ask you where else can you get all those ingenious features for £32? Fantastic bit of kit for the right application!

get what you pay for.........................

simply, for 40 or so quid you cant go wrong, nice cradel for ipod, good sound quality no wires or having do dril dash board e.t.c. would give it 5 but the overall volume could be higher, especially for base hungry tracks! but as above worth the money, and no c.ds, or need to burn those tracks!

Lovely case

This is a lovely little case to protect your zen. It does not make your zen"larger" as some cases do, if you see what I mean -- the skin is both protective and compact. It had a popper to clip to your belt and a magnetised cover to keep it from opening accidentally. Not much more to say except that it's well worth the money and I didn't regret buying one.

i m really happy with product,i ordered two days ago and on 3rd day it was in my hand ...case was in superb condition ..considering the amount i paid i was glad...its worth to get this one then spending lot of money on branded case.

Now we'll see if the Klipsch can beat that !(£100)

works great

I live in a community (not a commune) and we share cars here, so i can be driving any one of 15 different cars or vans. this tuner works in all of them, new cars and old cars alike, its easy to use and the sound quality is just like listening to the radio. my only complaint is that there is no stand for the ipod, which is a real hassle in some cars. I should also point out that i use a 2nd generation nano, i don't know how it works with 3rd generations.

A couple of problems

I have to say that I'm pretty happy with this, although the main reason I got it was to use as an alarm clock, and the lowest volume setting when using as an alarm is far too loud, and is likely to wake everyone in my street.

A better solution would be to allow the volume level to be set, or to use the volume when it was switched off (firmware update...?).

Apart from that, it works well and looks good.

Ripped Off

After ordering a Nano it gave me the option of adding additional items. Thinking this was from Amazon i added and was quoted a total price. i accepted and after looking back at my order tracking this seller has charged me postage again. go high street every time. you know what you are getting.

Fabulous

Volvo S60, no option to change stereo, no aux in, no cassette so no cassette adaptor... it had to be an FM transmitter.

The first 'cheapo' one I had was fine - proving that they can work in my car - but died. When it came to replacing it I chose this one on the basis of features-for-the-money. I did extensive reading on-line in an effort to choose a 'works for definite' one... found that they all have good and bad reviews and I suspect that it's more to do with 'works fine in this or that vehicle' than the products themselves.

As well as playing music (well) through my car stereo (and loud enough - a challenge for UK iPods with cheapo transmitters)... it has the added bonus of the RDS transmission so I can see who is singing what displayed on the radio display (admittedly 8 characters at a time, not scrolling but line-by-line). It's a bonus feature which I already really appreciate!

I wouldn't hesitate to choose this again - highly recommended!

Love it!

I love my nike + attachment for my ipod and use it all the time. It really helps motivate me and I enjoy the challenges and goals you can set up on the website. I've used it on the treadmill and once calibrated it seems very accurate. I would definitely recommend it.

Im full of praise for this little case. It looks very stylish and adds allot of protection compared to your average case. Its great value for money and i protects most areas of your i pod. I can even put it in pocket and walk around with it in this case! (may not sound like a wow factor but without a case your i pod would be in scratchville)

Decent Speaker but not compatible with iPhone

I bought these for my iphone. Unfortunately they do not work with it. Interestingly they will charge it, but they will not play tunes through the dock. You can use it on your iphone dock, but you need to have a lead to do this, as one is not supplied. It is a real shame, because they are a nice little set of speakers - very neat, and come with adaptors for when you are travelling.

Really nice case

I bought one of these bundled with a tranmitter and skin. Really nice case, the transmitter works well and the skin is very functional if needed. This case fits very well, but the other comment about the transmitter not fitting whilst it's on are true - I can't plug mine in straight when in the case. But the iPOD does slip in and out easily, so no problem reversing it for use in the car or near a radio.

Poor build quality

These things started off being sold for about £60. By December 2007, I got one for under £20. They are now being sold here on Amazon for under £8. Wonder why ?
Mine fell apart at the plug after only a couple of weeks use.
Seems to be a common problem reading some of the reviews here.

Sound is great but quality wasn't

When I plugged it in I couldn't believe the size of the bass compared to the size of the unit. It was incredible and, although at high volume, the unit distorted it had to be driven pretty hard to do so.
All was fine until a few days in - the remote suddenly stopped working for no reason I could identify and whenever I moved through the ipod menus on a 30gb video ipod it would stop for a short time then start again - which I have to say got very annoying when using the menus a lot.
So, all in all a great piece of kit with some quality issues that need some attention.
I sent mine back to Amazon and replaced it with a Bose sounddock which has better sound quality and sound has been excellent (although I miss the richness of the bass the klipsch game me at low volume)

Bought a silver Nano for the wife for Christmas,got these as an extra, found them to be fantastic value for money and a very good product.

Wow. For a penny, I honestly expected poor service. How I was proved wrong! This item arrived a day after it was dispatched, despite it being during the busy Christmas period. This seller is completely honest and is a credit to Amazon third party sellers. This is my first order from a third party seller on Amazon, and I am not disappointed.

The product is exactly as described and will come in very useful for my New iPod 8gb Nano which I will be receiving from Amazon tomorrow. When I read that a mains charger didn't come with it, my heart sunk. But I looked around, and found this little beauty for just a penny (plus P&P). I expected it to arrive a few days after Christmas, but I am delighted to say it has beaten Amazon's delivery speed hands down. I have tried it on my sister's iPod, it works fine, and I couldn't be happier. What a great Christmas present for me. Thank you very much.
