I hate having to faff-around and was in the position of having to remove the silicone skin I have on the phone to put it into the 3G dock at night (even though it is quite thin). For me it's rendered the official dock (and extra cost!) rather obsolete but that's another story...
The adjustable wheel on this Sony has solved the problem and has allowed me to listen to all my podcasts easily.
Functionality to drive the phone through the remote control is better than expected and it charges fine.
The unit itself gives good sound quality (for the price) and has all of the functions you need in a clock radio.
To be fair, the overall design is a bit odd - it does look top heavy and I can understand why people may suspect instability - although I've applied pressure to a number of points and it seems ok. The top controls could probably do with some livening up colour wise, if I had to be picky.
The backlight is probably on a par with my old Phillips unit. Yes it's quite bright (although adjustable in three steps) but personally this doesn't bother me a jot.
Everything considered, a great little purchase.

I like the way that the belt clip doubles up as a stand so you can watch videos with your digital friend sitting on your desk.
Yes, of course this is fairly expensive for a small leather pouch. But, on the other hand, it protects something that cost me lot more money very well, enhances my use (by providing that stand) and looks quite nice. You could no doubt buy a cheaper case, but it wouldn't be specifically designed for your Zen and may not protect it quite as well.

A bit pricey but good protection for your Zen
This leather case for the Zen works well for me. Although I'd agree with other reviewers that it doesn't have a screen protector when the case is open, it will be closed (and fairly securely fastened by the clever magnetic closure) when it's in your bag or pocket, so this isn't really an issue for me. The player sits comfortably inside the case. It isn't 'skin tight' but having done a few (careful) experiments, I don't think my Zen is likely to fall out either. Unlike an earlier reviewer, my case smelt 'leathery' rather than plasticky when it came out of the box. It doesn't show up too well on the picture but there is a trim of red piping around the edges of the case. It's really easy to use and has plenty of radio presets if you forget to take your ipod upstairs at bedtime or just fancy a change! The display is nice and bright but this can be a down-side if you like your room dark as it has a backlight that is still quite bright on it's dimmest setting.
I absolutely love it and would recommend it to anyone.

Fabulous litle gadget
I bought this to replace a CD clock radio that was well past it's use by date. It is a fabulous little gadget - looks really good, charges your ipod up and wakes you up in the morning with either rich quality music (very impressed with the sound quality), radio or buzzer.It's really easy to use and has plenty of radio presets if you forget to take your ipod upstairs at bedtime or just fancy a change! The powermonkey comes with an adapter for the zen, but it doesnt work due to not enough pins being present so this leads me to believe that adapter is to charge an ipod.

the other adapters seem to fit everything else and it charges up my nokia n95 just fine. Quite a handy piece of kit to have - and it has more plug adapters than you can shake a stick at.

Horrible case
I have just received this case for my new 2gen Touch. It will have to go straight back to Amazon as it is of such poor quality in both design and materials. The Touch fits okay, but once in, the flap does not close properly. The leather feels (and smells) like plastic, with sharp edges to the stitching. It feels and looks worth about £5, there could be absolutely no justification in charging the so called retail price...it's horrible!29

Quality Silicone Case
Great silicone case, fits very well. Cut outs in the case for the hold switch, dock connector, headphone port and click wheel. Screen protector isn't 100% as due to the curved screen of the nano it won't stay stuck right to the edges, but still sticks sufficiently. Overall a great case that feels good to hold and protects the nano and it's screen from damage.31

I do agree with the comment that the hold button is a little hard to get to, but its not impossible, and quite frankly i'd rather the button be a bit hard to get to than not have this product and let my ipod get scratched up.
It is durable, and fits really well and, apart from the hold button, doesnt interfere with any of the controls. The silicone makes grip so much better so im not so worried about it falling out of my pocket.

Great Value, but wrong product image...
Very cheap compared to other sellers on the net. Not used it yet, but it should be fine. Although, if your expecting the product to be the same as the image like I did, you might end up with the six inch cable version I was sent. I know the description states"Adaptor Cable" but sometimes, when your busy and rushing around, you tend to use the image of the product to hopefully give you a pretty good idea in what your buying, in this case it didn't. Because it was so cheap, I'll keep it as a backup and order one like the image somewhere else.34

Superb system, outplays the Bose
This is a great looking and great performing system. If you are in any doubt as to the quality of this product compared to something like the Bose Sound-dock (I know two people with one)- DO NOT BE. The Klipsch is awesome. The only minor niggle is that it does not charge the new 4G iPod. This was confirmed by Klipsch - apparently Apple failed to notify equipment manufacturers of a change in charging protocol. Still, I'm very pleased. The sound easily fills the living room, which is not a small room by any means. I've also had a Klipsch iGroove ... which was also brilliant.36

My only worry is the rubber band that is connected to the adapter that plugs into the cigerette lighter as it is a bit flimsey so you have to be careful when putting it in to secure it, and slowly pulling it out (but thats just common sense to take care with it)

No Use for New Ipod Nano
I bought this charger because i have recently bought a blue version of the new ipod nano and i wanted a mains charger for it. It says it is suitable for all ipod models but when i plugged it in i got a message on my ipod saying"charging is not supported with this accessory" and the ipod would not charge. The blue light appeared on the charger but i think the problem is that it is not compatible with the newest version of the ipod nano. I emailed the seller but to be honest, the price it was i think i will just sell it to somebody i know who has an older ipod and needs a charger.not suitable for the new ipod nano! :-( now i need to find one that is......
