Review for Portable Folding Speakers for Ipods & mp3 players - white:
Few months ago I saw this at Aldi shope and bought a pair for 7.00+ and it worked fantastic. I gave this to a friend in Sri Lanka on return from my holiday four months ago and he still enjoys it.
I bought a set at Asda recently only to find that the cost was only 99p. I thought they made a mistake. Came home and tried speakers after about two days. My laptop speaker is much, much better and I had lost the receipt by then.

Review for Apple iPod Radio Remote:
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the radio feature. When you first start setting up the radio it starts off promising. When it is plugged in the ipod immediately recognizes it and adds an extra Radio option to its main menu. Select radio from this menu and you are confronted with a very flash and stylishly retro radio dial on the ipod screen. From here you can tune into your favourite radio channels and save them all. This then enables you to flick between your favourite radio channels from the remote. So far so good. But from here on in things go downhill because actually listening to your favourite radio channel is a huge letdown. Stand in the right position and you might be able to pickup the radio station OK, but move a few steps and you'll get nothing but hiss and interference. In fact walking around trying to listen to the radio is a complete non-starter as reception fluctuates so wildly all you'll want to do is switch the radio off, reception is that bad.
So considering the ipod is a portable music player, it's strange that Apple made a radio that requires you not to move an inch if you want to maintain reasonable reception. In other words, this is a lousy radio! So if you're looking for a radio for your ipod, avoid this and buy the more expensive but superior Roberts Robi DAB radio instead. But, as a remote, it is excellent so I definitely recommend this device for anyone looking for a remote for their ipod.

Review for Apple iPod Radio Remote:
A great remote for the ipod, but forget the radio!
I primarily bought this for the remote functionality as being able to control the ipod remotely is an invaluable addition for any ipod. And as a remote this little device works perfect, you can play/pause/skip, fast forward, fast rewind, as well as switch the ipod on and off. An LCD would have been helpful, but nonetheless as a remote this device works flawlessly.Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the radio feature. When you first start setting up the radio it starts off promising. When it is plugged in the ipod immediately recognizes it and adds an extra Radio option to its main menu. Review for Edifier i-F200 Pink Double Bell Alarm Clock Retro iPod Docking Station/Charger:
Rubbish
Confusing, next to no instructions, I could never get mine working. Essentially its just a speaker (I was expecting it to be more integrated) so it should be simple. Just set the ipod alarm on the ipod and leave it to go off at the right time. However, it doesn't work like that. There's a confusing system of holding down buttons, waiting for bleeps, having the correct screen on the i-pod before docking and returning to the i-pod to set the alarm. After all of that it doesn't seem to work. You'd be better off buying a nice pair of speakers or any decent i-pod dock. This simply doesn't do what it should. Complete waste of time and money. Review for Griffin iTrip AutoPilot - FM Transmitter & Auto Charger For iPod With iPod Controls And Smartscan:
Why does my iTrip change stations every time I use it?
If your iTrip was purchased in Europe, this is normal. In order to be in compliance with a European regulation designed to prevent pirate radio transmissions, iTrips sold outside of North America will change to a random station after each use.

The reason the iTrip Autopilot resets the frequency each time it powers up is a feature, built in to satisfy European law - apparently. This is from the Griffin support site:Why does my iTrip change stations every time I use it?

Review for Belkin Ipod Nano 4G leather folio black:
Is a really neat item, high quality materials and stitching work, well made, will keep an ipod scratch free. Is tiny! - but perfect fit for the nano, no risk of it slipping out when the cover flap is open.
The screen area is covered by plastic, only the wheel that's open. The ipod is kept in place on the top by a stitched in piece of material, and on bottom by two narrower pieces. It means that you can access the hold button, the line out jack and the charger port while the ipod sits in the wallet.
The top flap stays in place with velcro on the back, but is secure and tidy.
Only reason I give it 4/5 stars is because you have to fuss a little bit pulling headphones out, then taking ipod out of case, then headphones back in...not a huge problem by any means, but slight disadvantage. And it's slightly pricey, would have been happier with £12-15, but I think at the discounted price Amazon are offering it is worth the money. Would give it 4.5/5 if I could!

Belkin cases still the best!
Recently bought one of the new ipod nano chromatic 16GBs - absolutely love it and decided I wanted to keep it in tip top condition, and had heard the Belkin cases were the best, so have been waiting for them to appear on Amazon! Think they look a lot nicer than the other plastic ones - and means you can show off your colourful ipod!Is a really neat item, high quality materials and stitching work, well made, will keep an ipod scratch free. Review for Griffin Amplifi 2.1 Sound Speaker System for iPod:
I didn't want a 'plastic' box so upon receiving this solid wooden box I was initially impressed and it was a nice looking unit once switched on.
Running the unit off an adapter was bearable but would rather have the PSU in the unit to make things easier.
The main problem is the sound dispersion. I have recently moved the location of the unit and have found it has an incredibly small listening angle, the treble becomes too dull and the bass, which was previously clear and punchy, becomes suprisingly muffled. If you're not sat in front of the unit then it's not worth having to be honest. I wanted a quick and easy method of providing background music but find this unit a let down.
To compare this unit to the likes of Bose is a bit of a joke. If I had heard this unit in its current position I would have returned it pretty quickly. The auxillary lead also breaking was another small niggle.
Overall a bit of a let down

Review for FreeStyle - Pink Armband - iPod Nano:
It worked pretty well at first. It fitted my iPod closely so it didn't slip about or fall out. Although it has a plastic cover to protect the control, this is thin enough so that you can still operate the slide control and buttons on the ipod itself. It's made of soft rubbery material so you can fasten it quite tight without it cutting into your skin or rubbing too much as you move. After a couple of months of 5 times a week all round gym use it did start to stretch to the point where the ipod started to slip about so I binned it, but as I said before, it's cheap so this isn't a disaster.
A couple of niggles: the colour is very pale; not as bright pink as it appears in images and you do need to be careful that you do it up quite tight and make sure you fasten it firmly for the velcro to stick. Overall, it's not a bad piece of kit but if you exercise a lot you will need to replace it fairly frequently.

Disposable
This product has many flaws - the silicon material tears quite easily - particularly around the base where it needs to be stretched over the pod. The separate screen protector unfortunately doesn't fit and should be trimmed before sticking on. I don't want to risk using the armband because I'm certain the weight of the ipod would break it.However it does provide very good day-to-day protection that iPods undoubtedly need. They ideally should be sold in packs of three.

Review for CLEAR Silicone Skin Case for iPod Classic 80gb & 120gb + Screen Protector & Lanyard:
However, it is very flexible and bendy and so the iPod does move around inside it. The eyelet on the outside left side is useless as the skin itself is too flexible.
In the view of the reviewer, it is not worth five pounds and potential purchasers need to either be aware of the flexibility of the skin or select a hard case instead.

Review for iHome IH8 Clock Radio for iPod - Black:
I was pleasantly surprised by sound quality (having been disappointed with an IH5), and every feature works as as advertised. Don't be expecting ultimate fidelity sound or rock-solid engineering feel; this is a consumer product at a consumer price.
The interface with my (3rd Gen) Nano works well but seems to suffer some"lag" in responding to the iHome - either the control panel or the rarely-functional Remote Control (e.g. it can take a second or two to skip to next track). Having said that I'm not sure whether that's the iHome or the iPod; certainly my car's docking interface displays the same"lag" when skipping tracks forwards and back.
The"Fade out to sleep" function works but is a bit less...subtle in use than I'd expected: it feels like it plays at full volume until the last 10 seconds or so of the sleep period at which time it ramps down to zero. The effect is also spoilt a little at shut-off by the iPod lighting up to tell you it's charging or charged but we should blame Apple not iHome for that feature.
The Alarm functions are very good, with a well-timed fade in of the music source. One thing I hadn't appreciated is that there are, indeed, 2 separate alarms on the box but one uses the Buzzer / iPod as the source and the other uses the Radio: you can't have both alarms use either the Radio or the iPod. The presence of a battery backup for the clock and buzzer alarm provides some comfort for those of us who've known power outages.
The 3-level (4 with"off") display backlight works well, although there's a little too big a step between dimmest and the next-brightest option for my personal taste: dimmest is hard for my ageing eyes to read across the room and the next-brightest option lights up the room
The (FM/AM) radio works well, and has auto-scan and 12 memories (4 AM, 8 FM). Reception is as good as any radio in our house.
The disappointment is the remote control: it *occasionally* works but never reliably. Even after replacing the supplied battery with a known-good one, operation is iffy and only likely if you're stood in front of the iHome pointing straight at it and prepared to push REALLY HARD on the buttons. To be honest, since it doesn't even reliably activate the only controls I really wanted -"Snooze" and"Off" - I haven't used it in months. The upside of this is that I have to get out of bed to turn the alarm off, which turns out to be a feature I need to get me going in the morning anyway...
In short: if you're after a classic radio/alarm clock and you don't need a remote control, then this is a very good choice for you. If you're after a HiFi solution for your iPod, look elsewhere.

Great speakers for the Money
I initially did find these speakers a little tinny, but once I set EQ settings on my Ipod to small speakers, it fixed it right up. Amazed by the volume, I play along with my acoustic guitar, and at full volume, the guitar is drowned out. At full volume, the sound does start to suffer a little, but you don't need to go to full volume to get bags of noise out of these great little speakers. I'm well pleased. I don't know what happened the guy who gave them one star, must have got a lemon. Try returning them chief!
