poorly made expensive gadget
It looked like a great quality item. when it arrived, I fitted the 30G Ipod inside, very tight fit the pod was stretching the material. next day the cable management clip fell off due to a small metal clip that just wont stay in place, so i have been using it without the cable system but now after just 2 week the seem are cracking on the side, the elasticity is going. poorly made expensive gadget108

Could be much better
The armband works very well for it's purpose. It sits comfortably on my arm and doesn't move about. However it could have been designed so much better. The most obvious problem is the lack of hole to see the battery indicator (though this was easily solved with a swiss army knife) the top slider is also a little tricky to use if you cut or bite your nails short. My silicone case has also started splitting along the top seam after only 3 months of moderate use each day. It is a real shame that the case is poorly designed as I can't think of any player other than the Zen Stone that I would rather use for exercise. Hopefully alternative armbands will prove to be superior.110

Control of the click wheel through the plastic is somewhat fiddly without stopping what you are doing completely and focussing on this.
The major flaw with this design is the metal buckle. It is not wide enough to easily accommodate threading through the velcro when you put it on and rapidly pulls it away from the stitching. Also it is not sturdy enough for normal wear and tear - the one on mine snapped while I was trying to adjust it around my arm.
I would not buy this particular product again.

OK while it lasted
I bought this armband less than 3 months ago. It was comfortable to wear and held my ipod nano 3g in position well enough for running/weight training etc in the gym.Control of the click wheel through the plastic is somewhat fiddly without stopping what you are doing completely and focussing on this.

Great sound, shame about the remote...
I bought this product after reading the reviews on this site for the black version (I have a silver iPod and wanted them to go together). It's easy to use, reasonably portable - we took it on holiday with us in the box it came in - and sounds fantastic. Friends have a Bose SoundDock and this is definitely comparable.However, as other reviewers have said, the remote control is next to useless. As far as I can tell, the one I received is only good for turning the volume up and down and then only if you're standing right in front of the machine, in which case, you might as well just push the buttons on the front of the unit. It's also really, really tiny. An integral slot or space on the unit in which to store the remote would have been very useful because it's going to get swallowed up by the house in no time.
Having said all that, if good quality sound at a reasonable price is what you're after, this is the one to go for.

fell apart
I use the armband for running in the gym about 4 times a week. Not only does it not fit well and chafes, but it has fallen apart after 5 months. It also allows condensation to build up on the ipod, which is damaging it, and as soon as I start sweating the clear screen sticks and won't let me control the volume properly. I am buying a different brand this time round!114

Not very durable
I was very disappointed as I used this item four, maybe five, times and the seams at the bottom of the ipod pouch came apart. This product needs to be redesigned using stitching instead of gluing due to the hot/moist environment it is expected to be used in , i.e. at the gym/out running. It is however possible I got a duff one!Also the method of adjusting the strap was awkward, velcro would have be much easier !

Belkin Nightmare
I've bought 2 previous Belkin sport bands for i-pod nano and both within a month the glue from the velcro had started to peel off very disappointment for £20. But then when the new i-pods came out there was very little available to protect it in the gym so bought this strap. Now after 3 weeks already noticed the velcro peeling off again and also it gets very wet so I have no idea why it's useful for sport has you'll obviously get sweaty and it's inevitable that water may get into your ipod. That happened on my last nano and I had to wait a month for it to get repaired. Take my advice don't buy Belkin120

I have (finally) realised that I am no longer the body beautiful and that an urgent trip to the local gym was in order. I went and although the experience wasn't too painful, the music they played certainly was! So I had to take my tunes with me via the old Ipod, but how do I carry the flippin thing whilst shaking my not so inconsiderable bulk ? Enter the Griffin Streamline. It is a very slimline holder for the 'pod that straps to the arm and carries your 'pod very easily on your arm. It is not bulky doesn't restrict movement in any way and is the perfect solution for the jogger or gym user or indeed anyone on the move. The 'pod is held really securely and is in no danger of working free from the owner. All in all a great product and one that I can heartily recommend to anyone.
