3 years on and I still love it

Not the smallest ipod and it doesn't have the most GBs, but I still think it's great. Both my brother and sister had 20GB ipods and their cases felt thin and cheap and both ipods broke within 2 years, but this has a very solid feeling case and I've had no problems with it. If you have thousands of CDs, then this probably isn't the ipod for you. But if you're happy with only 1000 tracks on it then this ipod is great. You may have to buy your own charger, as mine only came with a USB lead, but it can be charged by your PC.

IPod Mini

I loved the iPod as soon as it came out and love it even more than the iPod nano - its large and bricklike appearance is quirky to say the least but I particually liked it as it is not too flimsy and more masculine than the iPod nano. I think the navgation is easy to work and logical and its software for the computer is near perfect. I love it.

Vivo High Black iPod Hi-Fi Speaker System

Bought this for the wife for Christmas and I'm very impressed with both the sound and the build quality. Despite being only 2x 10 watts (20W RMS) the sound is very good with both treble and bass having decent ranges. I've looked at other more expensive speaker systems for iPod but they do not compare with this for value for money.

Included in with this are four different docking port adapter plates for the iPod range although there is no plate for the nano 3rd generation - only 1 and 2. This is not a problem as I just placed a small black foam packer on the back of the plate for the 10Gig iPod and it fits like a glove, giving plenty of support.

I wouldn't say this is portable friendly as it weighs in at 5kg and is 480 x 172 x 165mm in size but for around the home it's perfect.

The remote control works well up to about 10 feet (15 if your lucky with the front speaker cover off) but at this range it a bit hard to see what's on the screen :-)

All in all a cracking, highly recommended speaker set up.

iPod Mini 4GB Good Buy, But Has Some Negative Points

Ok, so i'm like you, wondering which iPod to buy? Should I go for the 20GB or something a bit smaller...

I decide on the 4GB iPod Mini Silver because of its convient size and 4GB is enough for most people, 20GB and above is just excessive. 1,000 songs is quite enough for me thank you!

Anywho the good points, as I mentioned above the size is amazing and its really light! I take it everywhere with me, and although a belt clip does come with the iPod mini, I would recommend purchasing the Belkin leather iPod case to avoid scratches on such a lovely investment.

The scroll wheel is amazing, you can control the sound and head onto any of your favourite songs just by moving your finger up and down the touch pad! Yes the iPod does come with games, but I don't really pay attention to those and I doubt anybody else would unless they were stuck on a desert island, they are pretty simple and un-exciting, but then again thats not what the iPod was designed for and is merely an extra.

iTunes is simple enough to use, I put around 380 tracks on my iPod mini in around 2-3 minutes.

Battery does not last 8 hours! It lasts 4-5 MAX. Thats not a problem for me as its quite enough, but it would be nice if apple wouldn't lie in their product description.

I recommend it guys, its stylish, it has the wow factor, amazing technology, high quality music at your finger tips! Go for it :)

Excellent - but headphones let it down

REALLY pleased with this, although I admit it took me a while to work how to use the"intuitive" click-wheel. I must be a bit thick. Once I figured that out though, it's just brilliant ! The iPod mini is even smaller than I was expecting - it's so tiny ! Sound quality is good (with MP3 at 128k), but improved noticably by substituting the tacky white"Please mug me, I have an iPod in my pocket" earphones with a pair of Sonys I had left over from a 35 quid walkman bought about 10 years ago. In my opinion, this is either a case of form coming before function, or Apple are serioulsy short-changing buyers with these poor quality 'phones on a product costing not far short of 200 hundred pounds ! But let's be fair, 'phones aside, this is an astounding product and I would recommend it to anyone who can"make do" with 4GB of space (I managed to get about 1000 MP3s on there at 128k).

When i saw the apple ipod mini in PINK i thought i had to have one, so i got some money together infact a lot of money together and bought one at first i thourght it was soooooo cool it was pink and could store loads of tunes, but after a while i reilized that it was a totaly rip off. I mean its quite big and im nerver gona need all that memory so basically i spend aroulnd 200 quid on a mp3 player with loads of memory im never gonna use when i could have spent 50 quid on a farly decent mp3 player with the rite amount of memory. IF UR RICH THEN BUY THIS ITEM, BUT IF ITS AN EFFORT TO GET THE MONEY TOGETHER THEN GO FOR THE OTHER OPTION. i hope this review has helped.

Brilliant Low Price Apple IPOD Hi Fi Speaker System for Apple Ipod nano and Ipod Video

I have both an IPOD nano and an IPOD Video and the sound and quality of the picture from this fantastic speaker system is absolutely amazing, this sounds like a very very expensive speaker system and in my opinion is an excellent Apple Ipod Speaker System recommend it to all ipod users !!!!
