Review for New Apple iPod nano 8GB black:
Excellent & very easy to use
My first MP3 and it's great. V easy to use, good sound quality, black finish looks nice. I hate all standard ear pieces which fall out so bought black Sennheiser comfortable ones to go with it. V impressed with amount of music and photos the 8GB stores (worth paying the small extra to get this largest capacity Nano). Size and weight are excellent, screen is clear. Good options available eg bass reducer to adjust the type of sound. So quick and easy to switch between playlists. The only downside is that I'm now addicted to playing the card game and quiz - I have no life left! Apple really should supply a power charger with it, for when people travel or don't want to sync to computer each time charging - I bought lightweight one via Amazon for about £4 - no need to spend £19 on the one on Apple's site. Buy this Nano, it really is good.3

AHHH
I love my ipod. I use it every day. It got me through all my revision and i dont know how i lived without it. But this week it has stopped working on me and im fairly sure that this is the worst day of my life. Can anyone tell me how to fix my ipod?? It wont turn on and if it does, it turns off again before i can do anything with it. It sometimes wont even turn off!!! Its really confusing and i would love to know if there is anyone who knows where i can get it fixed?? in Northern Ireland. This is the most amazing bit of kit and the most used Christmas present anywhere!! I need it!! Please Help me!!6
Review for New Apple iPod nano 8GB green:
It was sent in awful packaging for the post though and i was honestly really worried it was going to be broken when i got it. It should be better protected. It also doen't come with very clear instructions for anyone that may need them. I have had an iPod in the past and could use it anyway, but the instructions are far too brief.
But the ipod is so good!

Review for Apple iPod nano 4GB Blue:
It can be called OK
When I got an iPod from my brother as a birthday present, I was very excited about the prospect of having all that music wherever I go and I had been told that iPods are pretty good. But as the time passed, I learnt that you simply had to be a geek to be able to use the blasted thing. The speakers [which they claim are `the best quality ones`] were crackling and distorting after a while, and even after I switched them for a new set they were STILL distorting. I wanted to purchase some iTunes, but when I found out the cost I wasn`t so keen and thought I`d better stick to CDs which have cheaper songs [most of the time]. Then I discovered a way in which i could really use the iPod, and which saved it from a 2 star rating: you buy some rip-off cables, hook them up to your sterio, attach the iPod onto the other end and bob`s your unkle: you have thousends of songs playing randomly out of loud speakers; great right? Wrong. at first it was fun, but then once I got bored of the songs and tired of the dinky buttons i started putting CDs in because I couldn`t face the strain of messing about with it, or paying for more iTunes. Since then it has come to be a piece of modern day history, waiting for when I will become a nerd. I will say however that the memory is pretty good, but to tell you the truth if I were you I`d save up to buy some CDs rather than this semi-waste of time. I will say however that the nice color is rather more pleasing than boring black/white.8
Review for Apple iPod nano 2GB Silver:
Plus points. Using the thing is more intuitive and unlike a shuffle I can select music by genre, album etc.
On the other hand, I am now on the road to hating itunes. For reasons I've yet to work out, unlike the Shuffle, I cannot add to the existing tracks on the Nano with clearing everything else off. The sound is better than that of the Shuffle, but worse than that of the Sony and the headphones are abysmal.
I like the longer battery life (around 24 hours) but am still to meet THE mp3 player that makes me want to burn all my CD's on to the computer and use that as my source of music.

Great technology - Minimal Volume
I thought that the ipod was for portable use, ie when travelling. However the legislation to keep volume low in European Countries invalidates this concept. It can only be heard in a silent room. I think that Apple should have the courage to tell potential customers of this drawback. The remarkable technology is lost when the volume is not there.10

Fantastico..................................simple enough
This is a really great product and now is the time to buy them because they're getting real cheap second hand. The sound quality is good for something so small and it is really easy to use with the click wheel and Itunes is good too. It's really beautiful to look at and it's so slim. But that was it's only flaw for me. It fell out of my pocket when doing shopping. So overall it's fantastic but quite easy to lose.12

But freezing has become an issue for me, but I have found ways of overcoming this problem.
1. Either reset (Instructions in booklet which come with the I pod)
2. Wait until it runs out of battery and hope your mp3's are still on there, which always works for me.
Other than this, the Ipod nano is great, fits in any pocket, sound and colour is brilliant.

Review for Apple iPod nano 4GB Pink:
The new video playback feature works well even with a small screen, as the pixel level is high. So, everything you see will be clear as you could want it to be. You may need to convert file types in order to play your videos, but this can be done easily enough online. The battery is strong- up to 5 hours of film or 24 hours of music. The new Cover Flow feature which lets you flick through your album covers so you can choose what you listen to is nice enough, though hardly essential or exciting. There are also other extras such as games, calendar, stop watch, world times, to distract you for a while, as well as a setting to check how much space is left.
There are a few games built in to the Ipod to pass the time if you're sick of staring out the bus window, Music Quiz being interesting enough, and solitaire the old favaourite. Obviously, the pink colour has been picked as a cynical ploy to get a lot of women and girls buying, and the shade of pink is gorgeous and stylish enough to show off. The most important thing is sound quality, and it is just as good as ever, improved if anything. You can easily tune out from the outside world of coughs and chat on the bus using this. The click wheel is slightly too sensitive, meaning you scroll past the song you want, and that is about the only fault I can find here. So for a simple, sleek, high quality iPod with plenty of space, this is the one you want. And it's hot pink.

Quick Reviews!
There are a few negative reviews here, whether or not they are by people who have used this new Ipod or not does not matter. Those of you who have used one in the past will know the pros and cons, and this is probably Apple's best yet. I'm not a huge fan of thin styled phones, ipod's etc, and this is easily one of the smallest, but it looks good, and as most people think 'smaller is better', then they should be very pleased. The price is also nice and competetive, especially considering the video playback, and memory capacity. It is also simple to use, and easy to set up.The new video playback feature works well even with a small screen, as the pixel level is high. I'm totally amazed at the pure size of it and how much it can hold, music wise, as it can aslo store your contacts from Outlook or Outlook Express in .vcf file format (business cards). I'm totaly happy with mine but I had no clue how upload songs manually through iTunes but I figured that out now and I also had no clue about how to turn it up or down, but, yes I got that sorted as well.90 out of 100%

Review for Apple iPod nano 4GB - White [MA005FB/A]:
The best music player so far.
It's hard to find the superlatives to describe this item, it's beautifully designed and constructed, something you can look and and realise just how much thought as gone in to producing the tiny end product. It starts with the packaging, which is stunning in itself, if you appreciate this attention to detail, you won't be disappointed, other manufacturers don't even come close. It is slim, tiny, elegant, with a intuitive simple user interface, I bet no-one has to read the manual. This is Apple design at it's best. The sound quality is fine through the bundled earphones, if you want hi-fi quality then a pair of shure earbuds will improve things a little. It also sounds very good through my reference hi-fi separates system, so don't be fooled by the size, as long as use go for high-quality (larger) MP3 encoding on your albums, you'll never notice it's not a CD playing. 4 Gb is enough for a lot of music, I have a 20Gb desktop collection of music, but it's easy to set-up playlists in iTunes to copy over what you fancy when it docks. I've managed to keep all my 4 and 5 star tracks and many new albums on this device all the time. You are limited to using iTunes, but it's one of the best free music programs, so hardly a limitation. Oh you can also store photos, contacts and notes on this too, if you have a Mac (and probably a PC too). Battery life is pretty good, not excellent, but if you are going away, buy an extra cheap charger that just plugs into the mains. The Nano only charges via it's docking port (and hence only via USB when on the Mac/PC), so a little charger is a good investment. It's a great holiday companion. I've read all the reviews about the screen scratching, but if you are careful, then there won't be a problem. You can buy plastic sleeves to protect it, and lovely leather cases (mine is a Knomo one) and they don't detract from the iPod.This is the ultimate music player, the only people who'll improve on this are Apple in my opinion. A design classic.

i got fed up of having to charge it on the computer though, and i didnt like using the ipod much because of the hassle of getting to my mums computer so i purchased a wall charger the other day (it's £2.99 on amazon, but they aren't apple, but who cares it works)! and now i use my ipod so much more! it's brill listening (and dancing) to my music.
i also got some tubes for mine and i love them also, i feel reassured that my ipod is safe inside those tubes! i just love it, and i cant wait to take it on a big journey. i definately recommend this to anyone thinking about it. i also recommend the tubes and definately the wall charger, u will really want one of those! enjoy as i do!!

finally, amazing!
i bought my white 2GB nano in September on amazon for £109. after initial trouble with itunes (it disabled my CD/DVD drive, so i had to install it on my mums computer) i now have it sorted and i love it! 2GB is plently enough for me as i dont have a huge music collection. i have about 250 songs on mine at the minute and i'm spoiled for choice!i got fed up of having to charge it on the computer though, and i didnt like using the ipod much because of the hassle of getting to my mums computer so i purchased a wall charger the other day (it's £2.99 on amazon, but they aren't apple, but who cares it works)! and now i use my ipod so much more! it's brill listening (and dancing) to my music.

Review for Apple iPod nano 4GB Green:
The battery life on this thing is amazing - I was on my way home from Nottingham about 2 weeks ago and when I first left there the battery was red yet for the entire 3 hour journey it was still the same - it didn't run out and it didn't need charging until a few days later.
I love the awesome green colour - I ordered a pink and green one to see which one I preferred and the green one is definatly better but the memory on this thing is also phenominal - much better then my old mp3 player which has completly died on me after a year... it couldn't hold as much music - it didn't have the games and photos and other things on it and it was very difficult to understand how it worked - so my ipod is a huge step up and I only got it for £100. Was a bargin!!!

I bought mine about 3 months ago... I'm still learning new things about it. I found it difficult to figure out how to put music on it and still am unsure about how to take music off of it. Then for some reason it wouldn't work but iTunes managed to wipe it and fix it, it works brilliantly now.The battery life on this thing is amazing - I was on my way home from Nottingham about 2 weeks ago and when I first left there the battery was red yet for the entire 3 hour journey it was still the same - it didn't run out and it didn't need charging until a few days later.

Simply superb
Tiny entertainment centre that you can take anywhere. Not the best sound quality, but then you would not expect it to be studio quality at this price.
You have 22 Graphic EQ settings (23 if you count the off setting) so you can get pretty close to your ideal sound concept.
The screen quality is superb with no dead or stuck pixels.
I was unlucky originally to get one with a technical problem but full marks to Amazon for sorting out a replacement in record time.
You do need to buy a charger if you are travelling away from your PC and also a connecting cable if you want to use it with your TV or Audio system.
It's good, it's fun and i would definitely recommend buying one.
