The bad aspects of the iPod nano 4GB are-: battery life (absolutely shocking - had to charge it almost every day, even if I'd only used it for 2 or 3 hours), the freezing screen, lousy volume control and the fact it broke completely less than 1 month after I bought it.
I wish I hadn't wasted £130 on it as it isn't even worth £1.
I loved my iPod shuffle and expected this to be of similar quality - how wrong I was. I just hope that any iPod I buy in the future is of a decent quality.

Very disappointing
I bought this to replace my iPod Shuffle but now I wish I hadn't. Looks ain't everything
Do not buy the iPod nano because it looks good! buy it because u want to listen to music! Because Apple are so smart! they'll let u splash out on the new, coolest gadget and then 5 months later they'll will make a better one. They've made new ones that look like the iPod Mini but now called the iPod Nano. iPod nano is a good gadget its still beautiful lol! its very thin! and just NICE! lol! but buy it straight from Amazon I don't want people getting messed around with different buyers! because this is a good product. if u want more music to listen to and a sensitve touch pad u'll love it! White is nice Black looks nice as well.46

Amazing...love it....
I bought this at the end of August, just before the new ones. I hate the new colours on the new ones and the shape is awful. SO glad I have this model. It is bright easy to use and looks great. Reccomend it to anyone. The battery life is really good and lasts ages. Even though it doesn't scratch, get case, I have the socks and they all look great. Do not get a case with a popper on the back becasue it dents them a bit. If you have any reasons why you think you shouldnt buy it, then, well, you should. Its great :]49

What sounds flat (I'm a dedicated HiFi nut) in the quiet of the home, suddenly sounds amazing when used in its natural habitiat (i.e. not the home)and combined with external noise.
Major Plus point.... the sleeve that stops the headphones tangling... total genius!!
Major negative point.... the fact that for an extra £60 I could have got the 4GB version (after being sure that 1GB would be enough)!

Superb. I thought I'd be the last person to buy an iPod and listen to compressed digital music... but wow....
