Review for Marware Sportsuit Sensor + Case for Nike + iPod Sport Kit:
After a lot of digging, and reading through countless reviews for various"alternative" solutions, I settled on the Marware Sportsuit Sensor + Case for Nike + iPod Sport Kit.
The case itself does exactly what you'd expect, holding the Nike+ unit safely & securely inside it. The simple design requires that you loop the case through the laces of your shoes, locking it into place with Velcro.
I found that the case fit snugly in place, and prevented the Nike+ unit from moving around. This is a requirement for the unit, and ensures accurate readings while in use.
If you're looking for an"alternative" solution for using the Nike+ with any trainer, then I highly recommend the Marware Sportsuit Sensor + Case for Nike + iPod Sport Kit.

Review for PURE Siesta iDock, DAB and FM Clock Radio with Dock for iPod/iPhone:
Wanted to leave a review because recently I started getting some very high pitched noises coming from what I thought was the radio - made it unberable at night - so spoke to Amazon who put me on to Pure - their support was top class - diagnosed the problem as the power supply and sent a new one within 2 days - Happy bunny again.
Whilst it was unfortunate that there was a problem with the power supply, the fact that their support team answered my email within 2 hours and sent out a new power supply by return post makes me want to trust them in the future. Previously owned a Klipsch iGroove - that power supply died and found it impossible to get a replacement - no UK support what so ever - so well done PURE

Does the job.
Just wanted to leave a quick review - have had the radio for over 6 months now - very happy with product - works seemlessly with iPhone 3gs / Touch 2ng Gen etc (haven't test 4G (I wish!)). DAB is great, like the fact that you can set the alarm for just week days!Wanted to leave a review because recently I started getting some very high pitched noises coming from what I thought was the radio - made it unberable at night - so spoke to Amazon who put me on to Pure - their support was top class - diagnosed the problem as the power supply and sent a new one within 2 days - Happy bunny again.

Review for Logic3 MIP168K FM Transmitter and Car Charger:
Pros.
Very simple to use
Cons.
There is an irritating buzzing in between tracks and on tracks which are spoken word (I have been using language learning mp3's from my iPod)
the buzzing is MUCH worse on my iPhone, its a very high pitched squeal. You also get that 'mobile phone buzzing' when you use an iPhone - its not constant but you don't look good when it happens.
I'm thinking.
Had I of spent £60 on a Belkin one would it be much better quality - probably.
Do I wish id of bought a Belkin one? No, I'm 3 stars happy with this purchase.

Review for PURE Chronos iDock Series II, DAB and FM Stereo Clock Radio with Dock for iPod/iPhone - White:
Over all I am happy with the product and although I've not had another one I believe this to be the best radio alarm clock with an idock for the iphone that is less than £90.
Good things about it:
1) Works with iphone 3GS (there are many products with idocks but you need to be sure it's compatible with your particualr phone).
2) You don't have to switch the phone off while it's in the idock so you can still recieve calls (the radio just stops when you recieve a call).
3) Almost no interference from the phone while it's in the idock which is often a problem with other devices. (Only rarely a few beeps, but that's to be expected and it's not a problem).
4) You have 4 different alarms which is great. I set mine for the radio to go off at 7am, 5pm, 8pm and 10pm. Or you can opt for the alarm to be an alarm tone or to soemthing on your iPhone.
5) The radio alarm keeps me up to date with news and current affairs with little effort from me (I set the alarm to be Radio 4 or World service)
6) I can listen to my collection of downloaded radio 4 podcasts whenever I like.
7) The sound is powerful and rich as it has 10W speakers.
8) I love the white colour which goes well with a white duvet set and brightens up the room. Before I bought it, I worried that the white might turn yellow after time, but the quality of material is good so I don't worry about that now.
9) It's handy to be able to read the clock in the dark if you want to check the time, but it's not bright so it definately doesn't disturb my sleep. I think you can dim it or brighten it according to what you like, but it's not an issue for me.
10) The scrolling text on the screen tells you what the program is if you like it and don't know what it is. It also sometimes tells you the name of the music that is playing which is handy if you like what you hear.
11) It's quiet as it has no electrical humming noise (important when you're sleeping next to it).
12) It's made with good quality materials and is well made.
13) It has a usb socket at the top which is strange and I'm not sure why they put that there, but I suppose you could put a usb light there which could be as a useful minimalistic bedside light or you could put a usb fan there for hot days - I haven't tried this though.
14) I'm a much more relaxed and calmer person now I have this radio as I find it really calming to hear spoken radio while I'm doing stuff or relaxing or dropping off to sleep. It's a great de stressor for me and I look forward to going home and relaxing with the radio when I'm tired or stressed or need some space - it's like a happy calming drug for me.
The bad:
1) The remote control takes a while to get used to. At first it only worked well for switching the unit on and off. Changing radio stations with the remote or anything else takes a while to get used to. It's a bit like getting used to using a mouse pad on a new laptop; at first you think the damn thing is dud, but somehow after practice it works sometimes, then after time it somehow works more reliably if you press buttons confidently. For a while I found the remote was way too much hassle and so reached across to the unit, which is a disappointment to have to do. After a few weeks I've used the remote in a more confident way and it's better.
2) Changing channel even when pressing the buttons on both the main unit and the remote isn't instantly, in a split second straight forward. To change channel you can press the radio 'preset' button or '+' button on the remote (you can set preset stations yourself) which requires you to look at the screen to see which channel it is on before you press the 'select' button. At first it's annoying to have to press one button, check the screen then press the select button as it takes a few moments to bother to do this. It would be easier if I could change the channel with the remote in a split second but it takes a while to get used to the remote. After a few weeks though, I've grown to be more efficient in changing channel and also you can memorise the number of clicks before you get to the channel I want without having to look at the screen. This is easy for me as as I mostly listen to Radio 4 so I don't change channels much except sometimes to Classic FM, Radio 3 or World Service which also means there are fewer click presets to go through for me and also, in time I learned to change channel more quickly and confidently so it's not a big problem for me anymore.
3) Sometimes when I try to switch the radio off at the unit, it doesn't respond. There have been times when I've pressed it 2 or 3 times and it still doesn't switch off! Then I pick up the remote and switch it off in an instant. This has been annoying a few times but now I know that if I want to swich it off it's better just to use the remote to be sure it'll work instantly. However, the fact that it has been a problem a few times switching it off at the unit is a worry I am keeping an eye on.
4) It is annoying that when the radio alarm goes off it is set at the volume I choose only (in the morning fairly quiet) and if I hear someone on the radio saying something I want to hear more loudly, the radio doesn't respond if I turn the volume up especially to hear this bit. This is because the alarm is preset to be at only 1 volume level that you chose it to be through programming. So, in order to turn up the volume I have to switch off the unit and switch it back on again and then turn the volume up. Of course, in that 2 seconds of time, I've missed what I wanted to hear! SOLUTION 1: So, what I have to do when I hear speaking on the radio that is too quiet in the morning is to put my ear right next to the radio. SOLUTION 2: Of course, I have the option to set the alarm at a louder volume, but I don't always want to wake to a loud radio; I set it to a louder volume for 5pm or 8pm. What I would like is to have the option to turn the volume up in a split second when I want even when it is on alarm mode.
5) The triangular shape of the unit is annoying as I really wanted to have an oblong one to cover the ugly gap I have at the back of my bedside table due to the skirting board pushing it out at the bottom. That's just a personal issue with my beside table though.
6) The sound quality, whilst powerful, deep and rich, is not good enough to be a replacment for a hifi system with speakers that are placed wide apart. The factory setting equaliser sound doesn't have a lot of treble, so I upped that in the settings which improved it. I'm happy with it. Nothing I can do to split the speakers wider for surround sound, but it's an radio alarm clock so can't expect it to be a hifi system!
Overall I this is a good quality radio and I love it! I definately recommend it!

Review for PURE Chronos iDock Series II, DAB and FM Stereo Clock Radio with Dock for iPod/iPhone - White:
Nice Radio Alarm with iPhone dock
I did a lot a research before getting this radio. I chose this mainly because, out of all the other radio alarm clocks with idocks, this one is approved for working with iPhones and the phone will still ring when you get a call while it's in the idock. Reviews reported that there is minimal phone interference while listening to the radio the phone is in the idock in comparison to other radios which have complaints about interference.Over all I am happy with the product and although I've not had another one I believe this to be the best radio alarm clock with an idock for the iphone that is less than £90.

ipod docking station
I spent a long time looking for a good docking station for my new ipod touch. This one is perfect. I didn't want to spend the money on a Bose type product. At around £50 this is really good value, provides good sound, not too tinny, and looks good on your work surface. As a newcomer to the ipod world, I found it a little fiddly to work out how the ipod sits in the docking station, but once sorted, it was quite natural. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a starter unit for playing their ipod music.
