How much is an ipod really worth?ipods are one of the least environmentally friendly gadgets available. According to Apple they are only meant to last 12 months and they are designed to prevent customers replacing the toxic batteries when they wear out. So the 10 million ipods sold are all destined to sit in a landfills for the next million years leaking toxic chemicals.
Environmentalists have been criticising Apple since the ipod's original release.
How have Apple responded?
By using less packaging and boasting that they are green. What are they on?
