Is a really neat item, high quality materials and stitching work, well made, will keep an ipod scratch free. Is tiny! - but perfect fit for the nano, no risk of it slipping out when the cover flap is open.
The screen area is covered by plastic, only the wheel that's open. The ipod is kept in place on the top by a stitched in piece of material, and on bottom by two narrower pieces. It means that you can access the hold button, the line out jack and the charger port while the ipod sits in the wallet.
The top flap stays in place with velcro on the back, but is secure and tidy.
Only reason I give it 4/5 stars is because you have to fuss a little bit pulling headphones out, then taking ipod out of case, then headphones back in...not a huge problem by any means, but slight disadvantage. And it's slightly pricey, would have been happier with £12-15, but I think at the discounted price Amazon are offering it is worth the money. Would give it 4.5/5 if I could!

Belkin cases still the best!
Recently bought one of the new ipod nano chromatic 16GBs - absolutely love it and decided I wanted to keep it in tip top condition, and had heard the Belkin cases were the best, so have been waiting for them to appear on Amazon! Excellent Hard Case
I bought this as i didn't fancy the silicon sleeve type of cover. Its a perfect fit, and with the exception of the clip on the back, which I removed, its excellent.Well engineered, with a tight fit to the case, i fully recommend this to any iPod Classic owner.

The Griffin case is the perfect solution to this, as underneath it's soft leathery outer, it is a rigid hardcase, which securely holds the iPod in place. The case comes with a decent screen cover which I've had no problems with so far. Because of this, you don't have to worry that this case doesn't have an extra flap to cover the screen, an option that I feared would make using the iPod a bit of a pain.
One of the reasons that I bought this case as opposed to the others out there, is that this one doesn't cover the light sensor just above the screen, so the screen's brightness can still be automatically adjusted to save battery life.
The bottom section of the case is removable so that you can place the iPod in a dock, but the holes in the case mean you don't have to remove it if you're just plugging in the standard USB cable. You may also find that you have to remove the bottom of the case if you want to listen with something like HiFi headphones which have a chunky plug surround, but most normal headphones should fit fine with the case in one piece.
The only bad thing about this product is that the external volume controls on the touch are a little bit trickier to access, but this only takes a little bit more effort to do, so it's not a big problem at all.
All in all this is a brilliant case and I strongly reccommend that you buy one if you want a slim, simple case for your iPod Touch.

In my opinion, the best case for an iPod Touch
After months of waiting for the new iPod Touch to be released, I quickly jumped on Amazon to find a case for it, however I found that most of the cases were yet to be released. very good, But not quite
these 2 products are great value but, you pay for what you get. the flip case has no leather between the click wheel and the screen,so mine was a little misshapen when I got it out of the post. Aslo you cant dock the ipod while the case is on. the silicon case is OK but is not very well made, the bit where you put the ipod in partially covers the HOLD switch and the earphone jack socket so it wears away. And the hook where you attach the neck strap is a bit small so it could brak off it you throw it around a lot. But this product is very good value on its single case counterparts.38

Poor!!!
Really poor product, when the iPod is in case you can not actually use the controls properly. The plastic seems to be too thick you will be lucky if you can turn the volume up. It's very temperamental, one minute flicking through the control will work the next it won't, and many time I would have to take the iPod out of its case to use it.Very disappointed!!

Sensible case at sensible price
I'm sure these cases are not made of real leather! They are, however, good quality vinyl imitation leather. Like most of the cases on sale, they cover the daylight sensor, requiring you to set the display brightness to manual. This is not a problem, but potential buyers should be aware.The fit is good and the touch screen is well protected by the closed flap, which has a stiffener inside.
Good value at £3.98 ...
