This case is ideal for your shiny new 2g ipod touch. The leather feels comfortable and all the access cutouts are spot on. Could be much better
The armband works very well for it's purpose. It sits comfortably on my arm and doesn't move about. However it could have been designed so much better. The most obvious problem is the lack of hole to see the battery indicator (though this was easily solved with a swiss army knife) the top slider is also a little tricky to use if you cut or bite your nails short. My silicone case has also started splitting along the top seam after only 3 months of moderate use each day. It is a real shame that the case is poorly designed as I can't think of any player other than the Zen Stone that I would rather use for exercise. Hopefully alternative armbands will prove to be superior.45

A Very High Quality Product.
Having looked for a decent leather case for my Ipod Classic, I made a shortlist of 3. There didn't seem to much between the different makes so I had to go on looks, price and the written descriptions of each case, (it is so difficult not being able to see them in the flesh). Belkin Nightmare
I've bought 2 previous Belkin sport bands for i-pod nano and both within a month the glue from the velcro had started to peel off very disappointment for £20. But then when the new i-pods came out there was very little available to protect it in the gym so bought this strap. Now after 3 weeks already noticed the velcro peeling off again and also it gets very wet so I have no idea why it's useful for sport has you'll obviously get sweaty and it's inevitable that water may get into your ipod. That happened on my last nano and I had to wait a month for it to get repaired. Take my advice don't buy Belkin50

The lack of plastic in the screen hole actually makes it easier to take the skin on and off, which is also a bonus.
If you want to protect the screen there are plenty of better options than an integrated plastic sheet, such as the plastic films also available on this site (and also highly recommended). They cut down less of the illumination than an integrated piece of plastic would and are less liable to tear, especially when taking the skin on and off.
If there is any potential flaw with it, it's that it make the player quite a bit more bulky, but overall I find that a minor consideration given the benefits.

what's the problem?

Simple and stylish
I usually hate cases... i buy them thinking i will use them, find them annoying and take them off after a month...then drop my mp3 player. However, this it very subtle. It fits perfectly and still allows you to be in awe of the slender style of the ipod touch. Its simple to remove with your fingernail and protects the screen, as even face down on a surface the screen it safe. The screen protector is also very nice, but it does come off quite quickly when the case is off... but that extra protection just makes you feel a little more at ease. This case is how all cases should be. If you want to keep your ipod in good condition, buy it.
