Great little waffle maker - fool proof!
Wasn't sure which waffle iron to buy - saw a review for this one and at this price hoped it was OK. The good news is its great! I made fantastic waffles the very first time I used it! It comes with a great basic waffle recipe and is easy to operate. It isn't the most robust machine you've ever seen but fits easily into a small cupboard and makes lovely daisy shaped waffles - not the big square slabs. Great for the price.83

i would have two slight gripes- one, its a bit pricey, although in fairness it looks quite sturdy. secondly, unless you have a single slice cooking option you are basically going to need two of these things as the toaster should not be used with an empty slot. Another good reason for needing two of them is that one toastie is never enough, and it is a torturous wait for that second sandwich if you only have one cage.

Although none of my sandwiches have ever escaped i decided to give this product a chance, and i was pleasantly surprised by how effective it is. Until I started using this, I was against"fancy" kitchen appliances. I would bore anyone I could with my preaching for hand prepared cooking. Any appliances I did buy, hypocritically, were hidden and used secretively. Recently my son was helping with the washing-up and forced me to admit that all my wooden spatulas were blunted by being used as"blenders". So I bought one of these, and it really won me over. As there is already a very competent usefulness review on this page, (total agreement), I will add only this: it's a very well designed tool, with all the power, quality and finish not normally associated with British brand names - and look at the price! It's my only electric cooking appliance that is not hidden: I'm quite proud of it! PS: Anyone know how to hide a micro-wave in a cramped kitchen??85

Looks Amazing - Toasts Terribly
I have given this product 2 stars purley for its design and how it looks. It does look pretty cool in my kitchen with the matching kettle but that is all the positive words I can muster. It takes at least 5 minutes to lightly toast bread, it's uneven and just in general poor at what it does.I shelved a Dualit toaster for the Delonghi and will be shelving the Delonghi soon!

a well deserved 5 stars
I normally go for the most expensive item, but I wasn't sure I wanted to get into fruit juicing for a long time so I only invested 25 pounds on it instead of the £75 requested by the Philips Alu model. I was impressed by the quality of the experience. The machine is made of heavy plastic, is nearly silent, easy to clean, fast and furious on the fruit. I still think that a mature pear is a delicious think to put your teeth in but the glass full of 5 different juices (apple, carrot, celery, pear, mandarine and a piece of lemon with the rind on) was a new amazing experience, absolutely delicious! I advice you to clean the machine before drinking your ambrosia... I told my (lovely) friend Marjorie about it, if she buys it within today I can sell anything on the planet!90

Fantastic buy!
Really pleased with this!!! haven't stopped using it since it arrived!! It looks cool-very retro and is so easy to make bread!! Sometimes the little mixing blade can get a bit stuck in the loaf, but give it a little wiggle and it comes free and considering the gorgeous fresh bread produced, a little hole is nothing!!(I've read this to be a common feature in breadmakers anyway).Also very easy to clean and use.I spent ages trying to decide, and so glad i bought this one!! recommend it!!!!91

The clockwork timer on our Dualit toaster has failed after about 5 years. Not bad service you might think, but the issue is it does not fail safe and the first time it happens the toaster will stay switched on. If you are not in the room at the time to turn it off you can imagine the consequence.92

Sharp state the oven capacity for this microwave as 22 litres so on this basis we bought it. It wasn't until we got the microwave out of the box we noticed it was a lot smaller than expected. In the back of the instruction booklet where it states the capacity there are two asterisks which read"Internal capacity is calculated by measuring maximum width, depth and height. Actual capacity for holding food is less". The cavity dimensions stated include the external panels, and not the inner dimensions making it 17L actual capacity.93

I bought this toaster a little under 2 years ago, and like the others it worked beautiully at first. The browning seemed to get less even after a year or so, and now it won't pop up when it's ready - seems to be a fault with this toaster, reading other reviews.94

great little kettle
I'm really pleased with this kettle it's the perfect size for 2, and boils very quickly. The lead isn't too short and it comes with 2 little cups which fit inside the kettle - the cups don't have handles but the plastic is very thick so shouldn't burn your hands. The only downsides are that you can't disconnect the power lead from the kettle and you have to manually change the voltage which is underside the kettle - just twist from 222/240 to 110 voltage. However these are minor matters, bottom line is it works, it's small and it pours well99

Swallowing problems solved
This cuisinart product has proved to be an absolute boon. My wife came out of hospital having had pureed food for 6 weeks with the recommendation that this should continue for medical reasons.
