a good, stylish purchase
On deciding my table needed a new salt and pepper pot - I searched most of the department stores on line. I found there wasnt much choice. Amazon though provided a good selection of cole and mason products (which also come with a lifetime guarantee) at very competive prices. I decided on the"Bobbi" design due to the fact that the price was very good and found this exact item selling at double the price on other websites. The mills are very stylish and feel quite heavy when handling them. When ordering items on line you can never be quite sure whether the product will live up to the description, but I am very pleased with my choice and feel these mills would compliment any dining table.43

Works well much of the time
We have been through so many types of knife sharpener over the years in our attempt to own truly sharp kitchen knives. The latest has been a ceramic"steel". The Chantry Classic sharpener has, I suppose, stood the test of time but we have bought others since owning this which clearly suggests that it could be better: the fact is that it sharpens many knives quite well, and some knives exceptionally well. It's difficult to know why it is variable in its effect, and I can only guess that it's to do with the knife blade itself.I wish there were a 100% guaranteed knife sharpener that produced a razor edge, but I'm beginning to think such a thing does not exist. This James Martin branded grinder from Wahl does the job it is designed for, and does it consistently well. I recently used another grinder for a week, which has a dial to choose the fineness of the grind. It was rubbish. Even on the smallest setting it produced lumpy grounds which made a bad brew.
This grinder keeps it simple - press the button to grind, keep going until you are happy. The semi-clear lid lets you see what is going on and comes off with a short twist.
The blades, after 3 months, are as new and the whole thing gives the impression it will last for a couple of years, which in modern gadgetry is pretty good.
The design is vaguely pleasing to the eye and all-in-all this is a good grinder and, for the price, great value.
Four stars.

Nice to look at but doesn't last long
We were given this as a christmas present last year. It was brilliant and worked well. The recipe ideas that came with it were tasty and easy to make. However, we only had it for a month because the top half split which then made it unusable. It says it can go in the dishwasher on the top rack, but I wouldn't recommend this.52

While this griddle looks fine, it doesn't distribute heat well enough – the food gets burnt where the burners are, while it's not getting enough heat in the middle.

I'm loving it!
I'm loving my Nigella bread bin. I ummmed and ahhhed for a while over spending £50 on a bread bin. But I took the plunge on the basis that I can fit 2 loaves in it. I'm really pleased with it. It's so roomy and I can fit loads in, a loaf of bread, some crumpets, rolls etc. so it does exactly what I wanted. It's also takes up less room than you'd think as it's tall rather than wide. The lid hasn't warped yet but I don't think I'd mind if it did as I'm sure it'll still look pretty darn stylish in my kitchen.59

Very good if it worked for more than a week
This is a very good knife kit, and whilst it worked it was very good. however after a week it stopped cutting on the right hand blade, and pokergoods were quick to replace it at no charge. After another week that one stopped cutting with exactly the same problem, the right hand blade stops working and the knife will not cut. Cant say to much about the excellent service from pokergoods who refunded my money in minutes but from my experience cannot recommend this knife to others.
