Review for NEC e616V - ThreePay - Pay As You Go Mobile Phone:
but, i like i say, 3 is the worse network i have ever come across...30 day PAYG vouchers and the cheapest is £15! they're having a laugh! you pay for voicemail. browsing WAP is free but every video (incl news items etc) is charged just to watch. and games/music/ringtones/videos are really expensive and because of 3's walled garden, none of these things can be uploaded to your phone. worst of all no real tone ringtones!!
also, the phone cannot easily be unlocked because features such as sending and receiving videos and WAP do not work afterwards.
Whatever you do just avoid 3.

Review for Motorola V220 - Virgin - Pay As You Go:
Small, lightweight and its attractive silver finish is great. It is also very user-friendly. It has a great choice of wallpapers, screensavers, themes and ringtones. It is also easier to customise and save your own preferences than with most other phones.
The best feature is the built-in handsfree speaker, which is easy to enable/disable during a call. There are also volume controls on the side of the phone which can easily be adjusted during a call.
Virgin mobile customer service is also excellent.

A Handy phone with plenty of features
I got this phone last Xmas. It is small and lightweight, has an excelent cam, and does short vid clips too. It looks cool and is easy to use. The camera is brilliant and there are editing features too. If i get a new phone it will only be for a change, not coz i need one.6

Review for Nokia 6610i - O2 - Pay As You Go:
Excellent phone, few small negative points
This is a very good phone like all nokia mobiles. It has many features such as the camera, MMS, download games, ringtones etc. The best feature of this phone are the large keys, they are like the Nokia 3210's which are relatively large and easy to press. Overall, i feel it is an excellent phone, however, there are just a few negative points about it. Firstly, the picture quality on this camera is good, but not great, as compared to my mates camera phone, it doesnt take great pictures. Secondly, it doesnt feel as well built as most other nokias as i have found the back cover on mine takes some effort to put it on or take it off. The third thing is that it lacks originality. I previously owned a nokia 7210, and this is very similar apart from it has a camera and different keypad. However, it is still an excellent phone which is easy to use and very light, and i would recommend it to anyone.7

Motorola V220 - screen went blank just out of warranty
From other reviews this is a common problem. At just over 12 months the screen has gone blank. I took it back to an Orange shop today and they said there is nothing they can do. My recommendation is to stay well away from this phone. My work supplied phone is a Nokia - it's older but it's been brilliant. So you know what I will buy in the future with my own money.8

Unreliable and tempramental - DONT BUY IT!
got this phone with a great contract deal with Three. Was sorely disappointed tho. Had to get it replaced three times in the first few months and it cut out randomly in normal open areas where I should have got reception. I still have problems using it now and have had people complaining of loud crackling down the receiving end as well as loud screeching noises. Would NEVER trust LG for again.9
Review for Sony Ericsson K700i - Orange - Pay As You Go - Silver:
The phone is squatter -- it's not a long but it's wider. It has a similar thickness to the T610.
The K700i is more responsive -- when you press a key it responds instantly or a second or two later (none of the waiting a minute or two that you had with the T610). The keys are larger and placed right next to one another. However, they have an arched shape so it's easy to feel when you're on the next key.
The camera takes stills with 640x480 pixels. The phone has a light next to the camera lens. As an aid to the camera, the light is only effective if you're pretty close to the subject but the light can be used as a regular torch.
The K700i does have video capabilities but you have to be close to the phone for it to pick up your voice. The picture quality for video is not as good though.
There is a difference in the way that voice dialling is implemented. On the K700i, there is a separate voice recording for every number -- i.e. if you have a contact where you have, say, a home number and a mobile number, you have to record one phrase for the home number and one for the mobile.[1]
The predictive text learns your preferences a lot faster. It re-prioritises the list of words it has the after the first or the second time you select that word.
The screen is a lot clearer and brighter.
The phone also has an FM radio. You do need to have the hands free kit (supplied) connected to use the radio as it uses the wire as its ariel.
Battery life and care: The battery life when you first get the phone is terrible. It lasts only 2-2.5 days with light use. However, the instructions do advise that you periodically leave the phone on until it turns off completely. If you do that you do have to give it a full 4 hour+ charge (as if it were new). I've just done the first of those and the battery meter only shows 1 unit of charge being used up and I did that more than a day ago so the battery life does improve as you go through the discharge cycle. As the screen is very power hungry, I would recomend only keeping the screen bright when you are using it.
My main complaint (and it's the reason why I've deducted a star from my review) is that the joystick, what Orange call the"Action key", can misinterpret your input (especially when you want to press it down).
In short it's a good phone which has a lot of potential. However, there are one or two niggly shortcomings that can spoil the enjoyment a bit.
[1] On the T610 you would say something like: [contact] then"home","mobile", etc.

Beats the T610 hands down

Review for Sagem myV-55 - Vodafone - Pay As You Go Mobile Phone:
However, where this phone falls down is in the menu system and limited ability to customise. It's very sluggish and takes time to respond to your selections. You can't add words to your personal T9 dictionary easily. You can't create customised profiles like with nokia phones. You can't have the phone to not ring or vibrate - you need to download a silent ring tone! You can't de-activate vibrate in silent mode.
Apart from all this, it's fine - good value for money considering the price - but not outstanding by a long shot.

Review for Motorola C975 Threepay Pay As You Go Mobile Phone with £30 of Credit:
This is a great phone, it's got a camera and takes 10 secs of video footage at a time. It does video calls apparently, and also comes with a mini SD memory card included. The 3 network coverage is pretty good, you can stay online on trains without problems, and they are now streaming ITV live for a charge each month. The 3 portal has mountains of content, much of it free, or you can subscribe to certain sites for a couple of quid a month.
I would say that Vodafone and Orange seem to have better all round media packages these days in terms of TV streaming (ie. the Sky channels, etc) but I've found 3 to be v good so far.
If you're using the internet constantly then the battery life's about 3 hours. My suggestion would be use it plugged to the mains if you can. If not online then it's pretty much same as most mobiles I've used.
It's a bit bulky but you really can't complain for the price.

Good Camera
I bought this product wondering how well a camera that small and that compact could really work. Well it turns out this camera is exteremly funtional, in fact, i took it on vacation and i stored 300 pictures of the landscape and 15 video clips. I was amazed on how well it stored them too. This phone is the best phone i have ever had.1-20 »

User friendly phone with a fantastic camera
This phone really took my surprise, having never used a Panasonic handset before, but I was pleasantly surprised by the well designed, user friendly features. It comes with a very good built in camera for a phone, which by far is it best selling point over other camera phones on the market. The pictures come out much more clearer, with zoom functionality and the option to edit the pictures taken. I took some pictures with it and was really amazed by the quality. The buttons are well designed for text addicts and it comes with some quite cool polyphonic ring tone as standard. Plus it weighs at a mere 83g!I give this phone a big thumbs up because it’s very sleek and stylish and in my opinion, one of the best looking flip phones on the market. I think it’s just about the right size too, because if like me you loose very small phones but don't like carrying a big bag to accommodate an equally big phone, then the size is just right.
