It is great for getting an accurate measurement without having to fill and then check at eye level and then empty or refil to get it right so in that respect am 100% happy with it.
My only criticism is when using it to pour the spout is not the best and liquids tend to spill rather than pour correctly.

Not quite perfect
I own two of the tiny measuring jugs and use them all the time for measuring small acurate amounts so when I saw this large version I bought it immediately.It is great for getting an accurate measurement without having to fill and then check at eye level and then empty or refil to get it right so in that respect am 100% happy with it.
My only criticism is when using it to pour the spout is not the best and liquids tend to spill rather than pour correctly.

Good, but not perfect.
After owning many Typhoon scales I can say that this design is better than other Typhoon branded scales. It is well built, attractive and fairly accurate, however there are a few faults. Its hard to keep clean as there are many nooks and crannys where sugar and flour is a knightmare to get out. Also the bowl on the top is quite light and flimsy so it scratches quite easily. Finally - the bowl is too small, it fills up very quickly and you have to keep emptying it if you are making a large batch etc. Despite the faults these are a good buy. Out of all the Typhoon scales I have - I have to say these are the best.46

Not dishwasher safe
The jug looks nice but that is just about all that it has going for it. The first disappointment was that there was a note in the box that warned the measurements were approximate - what is the point of having a jug if you cannot rely on this? I wish I had got a refund immediately because I have found that many of the measurements have been removed after only three runs through the dishwasher (and if I was that good at guessing the volume of liquids to use in a recipe, I would not have needed a jug in the first place!). I am going back to my old pyrex jug.
