These tiny little devices are really easy to use and are sturdy and well built, unlike other flimsy devices i've seen.
If you are worried about problems like in the reveiw below, don't worry, you don't need to install anything and the google software is optional.
Don't let anything put you off this - by far the best memory stick i have seen!

Review for Sony 8GB Micro Vault Midi:
Feels rather cheap.
I bought the Sony 8GB Micro Vault, as it looks quite solid in the pictures and I have always found Sony products to be well constructed and solid. However, when I received the product (and no complaints for the service from Moreflash - ordered late Friday evening and arrived early the next Tuesday) I found that it feels very cheap and fragile. In fact it feels more like a cheap plastic toy from a fairground than something that I will be entrusting to carry my documents around on. I guess that if it lasts for a couple of years (which I doubt) then I should not really complain, as this is what I bought it to do, but these days I expect my hardware items to be well made and aesthetically pleasing and not cheap and tacky (Apple versus Chad Valley). So it's 5 stars for the 8GB, but no star's for the build quality = 2 stars. If you were my friend and you were buying a USB flash stick, I would tell you not to buy the Sony Micro Vault and look elsewhere.51

Review for SANDISK CRUZER MICRO U3 512MB BLK:
Quite happy with the speeds, goes quite fast (not sure on the technical details!), really lightweight and easy to transport and works fine with Windows Vista. Well the stick works with Vista, however the U3 programs don't but I didn't want these anyway :)
Thanks for reading, and buy it now!

Very pleased with this one!
Everyone has a memory stick these days, and for those people that haven't got one I can recommend this one, it's small and handy. The retractable cap is a good idea to keep it clean, and so you can't lose the end!Quite happy with the speeds, goes quite fast (not sure on the technical details!), really lightweight and easy to transport and works fine with Windows Vista. Review for CRUZER TITANIUM U3 2GB READYBOOST:
Worth the money
I bought this a few weeks ago after scouring pages of PC magazines to find a"best buy". It feels a lot more robust than other drives because of its weight. The retractable usb connector is good but still prone to picking up dirt if you leave it in a pocket or bag. The U3 software that comes with it is very innovative and is great for all users of PCs but it will not work on Macs - something to bear in mind if you're going to be using a lot of different Macs. I've had a look at the U3 but never had a reason to use the software as the main applications I use (Microsoft word/powerpoin/excel) are on all PCs that I access. However, just as a simple storage device, I'd recommend it.59

A solid performer
Having used a number of flash drives in the past, I always worried about the build quality, and how plastic they felt, to the point that I would back up the more important data elasewhere, just in case they broke. This is not something I have to worry about with the ATV. Its rubberised case feels very solid and is clearly capable of absorbing shocks as well as (claimed by OCZ) being water proof - I'm hoping I'll never have to test that though!Read/write speeds are good - not quite as fast as their claimed figures, but plenty quick enough for my needs all the same.
All in all, a great falsh drive, that is well worth a look.
