People rely on reviews in order to give them a good idea of the quality of the PRODUCT.

Countless low scores over a POSTAGE issue skews the data and prevents people from obtaining an accurate rating for the item. Everyone is perfectly capable of assesing wether an items postage is excessive and they can make their own decision based on that as to wether to purchase or not.

If you dont want to buy from amazon, that's your choice, but stop giving low ratings because you cant read order summeries correctly.

Great at first but it stopped working after a week

I loved this for the first week but after that it stopped working and was no longer recognised in any USB drives. I hadn't dropped it or done anything that I shouldn't have with it.

I can't send it back as it has sensitive data on it so my money is wasted.

VERY disappointed.

Bentley in the world of USB drives

Luxury unit. It is kind of like having a Nokia 8800. it is not any faster than Titanium (even slower then Titanium Plus version) but it is a state of art. It stands out of all USB my friends own like Bentley would stand out in the Tesco's car park.
Buy it to please your eyes. And it is pretty fast!

returned but now working

My first one didnt work no light, but amazon returns policy had another one out staright away a few days later it arrived.... that one has a light , used a sd card on it and yes much quicker than my printer reader...so cross fingers thats its okay with my CF cards...hope so.

Great piece of kit

Bought this 2 gb usb/sd memory card in Thailand for about £11. Have used it for several months in my Canon Ixus 800 camera, with great, high-speed results. When visiting my parents in France they did not have a sd card reader, so I used the usb function to 'drop' the photos & videos on their computer. The video function works really well; high speed write-to-card etc.

Amazing technology!

1GB is good...this is amazing! It's only 20 years ago people thought a virtual juke box was just fantasy! 2GB is seriously a lot of space! If you want to make the best of your PSP and become the envy of your friends buy this card!

Holds many songs, videos, photo's and game saves!! Makes your PSP do what it's really capable of! It also allowed me view the internet better and faster on the PSP!

It's a must have for all PSP owners!

Good stuff

Well, I bought two of these..

They are nice and small with a grip texture to them..
Look nice and work well..

BUT

It doesn't come with a strap or lace of any sort though it has a hole for one

The cap isn't attached to the rest of the body in any way so I can see myself losing the cap in the near future.

I'm thinking the slide out usb version may have been better.

It does serve its purpose though, thats why I have given it 4 stars!

Digiplay sell fake Sony memory sticks that don't work...

I bought one of these from Digiplay a couple of weeks ago. I spent hours loading it up with mp3 files which kept disappearing. It was like trying to fill a sieve with water. I tried using Sony's data recovery software to bring the files back but after a while my phone, my PC and Sony's software failed even to register the presence of the card. Digiplay were apologetic and sent a replacement after I had forked out for postage to send the faulty one back.

A couple of days ago I got the replacement and had exactly the same problems. I got suspicious so I checked this card and it's packaging against one that I know to be genuine (ironically I bought the genuine one from Digiplay back in February) and there were a number of small differences in the design of the stick, the printing on the stick and the packaging that it came in. In other words it is not a genuine Sony stick. Digiplay are fobbing me off with counterfeit rubbish and I have reported them to Amazon. It is a real insult.

I am expecting a speedy, quibble-free refund from Digiplay before I decide to escalate the matter to Trading Standards.

good while it lasts

although this product has a very quick transfer rate to it and the fact it covers so many different memory sticks/cards, the one thing that lets it down is the fact that after about 5 or 6 months of use it stops working. if you want a cheap solution that you have to replace every few months i recommend this otherwise dont touch it with a barge pole

Very Fast - But Watch Out For Fakes

I use this card for my Sony Alpha A350, and I've never encountered speed issues because of it. No regrets.

One warning I would offer is to buyers who see this card (or others like it) on Amazon Marketplace at a price that's too good to be true. Chances are, it is. I originally purchased this from an unknown seller, and found the speed to be lacking.

Although the packaging and the card were rather convincing, I suspected it was a fake, so I checked with Sandisk. Sure enough, it was. I soon returned it and bought the genuine article from Amazon.

If your Extreme IV seems slow, if it doesn't come shrink-wrapped, if it seems at all suspicious - call Sandisk. They can verify its genuineness by checking photos of it.

What can you say about a bit of plastic 1/4 of a post stamp? i did put it in my mobile phone and it does the job. the postage is a bit on the high side for this item but it's worth it. quick delivery and good brand. A+++

this product is quality! works brilliantly and the retractable USB connector is great aswell!

all in all, a superb product however didnt like the bundle software but a super product nonetheless!

Shiny and fast

I've had this flash drive for a year now (as from Christmas day) and it's still going strong. That's quite impressive considering that I take it to school every day. I haven't exactly hit it with a hammer walking around between lessons is the equivalent.

It supports portable apps - I run several bits of software on it including FireFox, open office, clam antivirus, pidgin messenger, Steven Gould's 'clean up,' a disk burner and much more.

Very nice product-would greatly recommend if 1GB of space suits you.
