A good quality versatile reader
I bought the Fuji card reader because as an analogue photographer I have always preferred Fuji film, and so trust the brand. I also think it looks better than most of its competitors. The instructions that come with the reader need updating - they don't mention Windows XP - but don't panic! I installed it (from opening the packet to being fully functional) on an XP system in under 5 minutes. So far I've used the reader with Compact Flash and SD cards, and it works perfectly. The 4 ports (one for Compact Flash I/II & MicroDrive, one for XD & SmartMedia cards, one for SD & MultiMedia cards and one for Memory Stick) appear as 4 different drive letters, so if you want to you can transfer data directly between different card formats. Overall, a solid, quality piece of kit which does exactly what I want, and in my opinion is well worth the extra few £ over some of its rivals - 5 stars!64

Plugs straight into Mac OS X and Windows XP and is instantly recognised without a need to download any drivers. A CD supplied if you do need one. Even better, it only absorbs power if there's a card inserted - the card completes the circuit. Perfect!67

sits in bay with no problems and looks like it was built in. uses Via chipset and runs straight away when installed. comes with drivers for each input device but you dont even need them to use it. simple to use, value for money.
