i bought this cd player at the beginning of the year from a leading supermarket and had to take it back 4 times each one had a faulty or broken remote, the play button didnt work at all, the one i have now finally worked but goes tempremental, other than that it is a smart little cd player.....114

Tried connecting wirelessly, but couldn't as another reviewer has now explained. To get the best out of it you need to be networked and connected to the interent, therefore, I used some devolo homeplugs to connect to my router as a direct ethernet cable was not possible and this works fine.

Good concept, but not quite there practically
I generally like this product and think the concept is great. However, I agree the speaker cables are far too short and the DAB reception poor, particularly when compared to my Sony DAB clock radio.Tried connecting wirelessly, but couldn't as another reviewer has now explained. Don't buy this hifi..
Have had this hifi for a few months. Looks pretty good, great for CD and my sony mp3 player via usb connection but if you plan on using the radio forget it. As with a number of the other reviewers my hifi continually attempts to retune the DAB stations EVERY time i turn it on. This takes about a minute and is very frustrating as it invariably ends up on some foreign langauge channel! Anyway i have contacted sony support and they have given me a couple of local shops to take a look at it whilst under warrenty (12 months). I don't hold out much hope as they confirmed there are no firmware upgrades etc available. Will keep you posted!117

I was a bit put off at first by the reviews, but as it was by far the cheapest around i went for it anyway. since iv had it i havnt had any problems and the sub is brilliant, the only drawback being its longer than the other speakers, but your most likely to have it on the floor as it will most likely break your table. sound quality is good, it goes a bit fuzzy at top notch, but i cant see why you'd have it on at that level anyway as its too loud even for a party. over all pretty dam good120

Outstanding all-around player
This system has everything you need in a high-quality compact audio system. The sound is flawless and the link with iPod works seamlessly. It also helps that the system looks so stylish. We have not yet been able to setup the DAB radio and we've been advised that in order to get the best sound you need a specialised roof-top aeriel which could cost up to £100! This is an outstanding piece of audio equipment...buy it.
