Nice but not even 2 litre
If you think a 3 litre bowl should take 3 litre, this is not for you. Filled to the brim it takes around 1900ml.Otherwise it's a lovely item.

These are made to the usual high standard like other Typhoon products. But I am unsure whether these are actually worth the £20 Amazon are charging. I only really use the big bowl as the other 2 are too small to be practical for every day use. The bottom of the bowls are quite rough and will scratch the worktop unless you put something like a tea towel underneath. I bought them to match the rest of my Typhoon range but I do feel abit short changed! There are more practical options out there, and I would advise you to consider the sizes before purchasing.9

One thing I don't understand is people criticising items for getting general wear and tear. The scuff marks on the inside of the bowls is to be expected if you plan on doing anything more than displaying them in a glass case. It all adds to the beauty. I feel it shows they are well used and loved items and it adds a little nostalgia for all of the lovely things which have been mixed up in them in the past!

Love them!
These bowls are absolutely gorgeous, they make you feel like baking all the time, just so you can get them out! Good design, bad quality
We got a set of these bowls for our wedding. They look good and the design is nice and innovative. However, an electric whisk produces black marks inside which don't wash out and they are not heat resistant. When I poured hot soup into my largest one it cracked in two. Not quite what you expect from a kitchen bowl, and certainly not at that price.17

It's a bowl that you can mix things in (some things)
It's a mixing bowl and it works pretty much as it's meant to. Since it hasn't any complicated moving parts, I'm confident it will continue to do so for years to come.The reason for the relatively low score is because of something that I should have considered before buying, and hope that you will after you've read this. The bowl is a good medium-large sized mixing bowl, it is an ideal size for mixing up a sponge cake or something similar (4L is about 7 pints) but I wouldn't recommend it. Imagine using an electric whisk or even just a metal balloon whisk against a stainless steel bowl (fingernails down the blackboard isn't in it - please believe me!) so for mixing things using a wooden or a plastic/silicone utensil it is an excellent bowl. For anything involving whisking buy something else!
